We all expected a tumultuous presidential campaign.

But I was not prepared to see a Kennedy endorse a Republican, nor the Cheneys endorse a far-Left Democrat.

I was equally unprepared for the embrace of Trumpian policies by the very Democrats who hate him with the fire of a thousand suns.

The coup that toppled Joe Biden caught me by surprise, as did the coronation of an unelected nominee, Kamala Harris.

Not to mention two foiled assassinations buried by the media. And we still have a month to go.

Is there any way to make sense of this?

Sure enough, as Kamala Harris continued her tour yesterday of unserious “media” interviews with Trump-hating pro-Harris cupcakes, “The View’s” Sunny Hostin asked her precisely that question: “Would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?”

Harris, of course, has had difficulty separating herself from the man who made her the first DEI hire in American presidential politics: Joe Biden. Hostin undoubtedly saw this as an opportunity to tee up a differentiating response from Harris.

So quiet was the inheritance from the prior Trump administration that nearly three years later, on September 29, 2023 --and just eight days before the October 7 Hamas massacre of Israelis -- Biden's national security advisor Jack Sullivan could still brag that "The Middle East region is quieter today than it has been in two decades."

So, what exactly happened to the inherited calm that led to the current nonstop chaos of the present?

In fiscal year 2023, Congress allocated $29.5 billion to FEMA. You’d think that’s a lot of money, and you’d be right.

However, even as FEMA has been granted massive amounts of funds for illegal aliens through Customs and Border Patrol, it’s managed to run out of money for ordinary Americans facing terrible disasters.

Now, we’re learning that FEMA employees are doing more allocations, this time based on what I can only call “genital equity.” (I scorn the phrase “gender equity.”)

That is, FEMA employees aren’t concerned with the greatest good for the greatest number during an emergency. They’re concerned with the LGBTQ+ crowd.

One of the things that Elon Musk just warned about at former President Donald Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, was the danger that the Democrats posed to free speech and how important it was to vote for Trump to preserve our Constitutional rights.

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton let the cat out of the bag during an interview with CNN on Saturday, where she spoke about the need to control social media. She said it should be "at the top" of every legislative agenda:

There was one objective for JD Vance last night: introduce himself to American voters who only know him through the media they follow.

They’ve heard he was “weird.” They’ve seen memes where he called women “childless cat ladies.”

They’ve seen one picture after another demonizing, mocking, and attempting to invent a cartoon character of their version of JD Vance.

In other words, they’ve dehumanized him.

Well, they all have dripping, icky, rotten egg on their faces today after JD Vance’s masterful debate performance, one that will easily make and define his political career and go down as one of the all-time best debate performances in history.

So yeah, the Democrats should probably be very worried about JD Vance, not just for this election but for the MAGA of the future. Trump chose wisely.

Vance has learned a thing or two from battling a hostile press. Walz has avoided them and it showed last night. He did what Biden did - he stared with a terrified look on his face as Vance spoke.

But for Vance, there isn’t a nasty question he hasn’t already had to answer at least ten times. If you’ve been watching his press conferences as I have, you already know he can handle them.

He was born to do this. You can tell when he’s about to give a really good answer because he blinks very slowly to show he’s tolerating their terrible question as he locks and loads.

In a scene straight out of The Sopranos, video has emerged of Harold Daggett, the chief negotiator for the International Longshoreman's Association, threatening to "cripple" the U.S. economy.

RedState has been reporting that a strike was looming, and the dockworkers made good on their threats by walking off the job at 12:01 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday. The union foresaw a time in the not-so-distant future when robotics and AI would take over their profession, so they decided to double down and demand a significant increase in wages.

“The ILA is reportedly asking for raises of $5 an hour, per year, which would be an immediate 12.8% pay hike on the current top pay of $39 an hour. Repeating that $5 an hour increase each year would result in raises totaling 77% during the life of the contract.”

The union is also seeking a total ban on the use of automation in their industry.

In the video that's taking the internet by storm now that the strike has begun, the Queens-born Daggett, sporting a gold chain around his neck, lays out in minute detail what will happen to the U.S. economy if the strike is allowed to linger.

At least 20 Trump supporters may have been attacked covertly by chemicals or a high-power laser at a Trump rally in Tucson on September 12.

Some victims suffered severe burns. Many were temporarily blinded, with symptoms lasting until today.

Others may have been affected but have yet to be identified. The fact that all those known to have been affected were sitting on the stage immediately adjacent to President Trump is important in understanding the significance of what happened.

The victims were all part of a “Latinos for Trump” group on the stage. President Trump shook hands with them as he walked to the podium.

But what they believed was their good fortune soon turned into a nightmare when severe symptoms began to strike 30 minutes after the rally.

Experts believe the symptoms resulted either from a chemical agent or, more likely, from a high-powered infrared laser attack.

Thus, while chemicals were initially blamed, physicians and retired military experts experienced in chemical-biological-nuclear-directed energy warfare now believe it was an attack by an unseen infrared laser.

There is a feeling among some that the November 2024 election is special. It is useful to consider why.

American presidential activities have become increasingly important since the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, ushering in a period of U.S. dominance that is  occasionally referred to as The End of History.

The Reagan victory marked a moment when the key battlefield in the struggle to determine the future of humanity shifted from the superpower competition between East and West to the simple control of the institutions of the West, following the collapse of the USSR.

Gone was Che Guevara and Mao's strategy of surrounding the global cities from the Third World countryside. Back was Gramsci's plan to infiltrate Western institutions and culture from within.

If the enemy walls were impregnable from without, they were vulnerable from within. The left accepted the West would be conquered by coup. To this task they set forth with might and main.

 

But something happened that Gramsci did not expect. As the march through the institutions progressed, the "progressives" -- so confident of their intellectual superiority -- did not sweep all before them.

Rather they found the resistance stiffening unexpectedly. Unlikely coalitions rooted in the "Working Class" and even among formerly left-wing sympathizers began to multiply.

The surprise setbacks of 2016, Trump and Brexit, grew rather than declined, as one might expect of the last-gasp resistance in the inevitable tide of history.

Today the Reagan castle the progressives captured by coup is in shambles. They are in possession of a ruin. The Global World has not only shattered but is breaking out in war. The only answer to inflation is price control. Worse, the political opposition to progressive ideas has become assertive and even respectable. Things have come to a head; that is what makes November 2024 so special.

The U.S. Secret Service (USSS), established as a personal bodyguard for U.S. presidents, is playing an increasingly dangerous role in U.S. politics.

Assassination attempts on the life of former president Donald Trump, by Ryan Routh on September 18 and Thomas Crooks at Butler, Pennsylvania, raise the disturbing possibility of designed convergences of security lapses that give assassins the opportunity to kill.

 

Trump’s protective detail was purposefully stretched thin

Details are still missing regarding Routh’s attempt, but he apparently camped out for approximately 12 hours waiting for Trump to appear at hole 6 of the Trump International Golf Club.

Trump was headed that way, teeing off at hole 5 when a Secret Service agent saw a rifle sticking through some shrubbery and flushed Routh out with a few shots.

There was no prior sweep done of the golf course.

As a spy thriller fan, I love reading about the clever gadgets the good guys use to vanquish the bad guys, which is why I've been fascinated by the story of Hezbollah's deadly exploding pagers.

How did Israel pull this off? Was it really Israel who did this? This attack is even more exacting than the exploding bed at the Iranian "safe" house.

Now we're learning more details of the attacks, and they're as impressive as they are diabolical.

Three thousand beepers exploded this week, killing a bunch of Hezbollah terrorists and some innocents. Iran's ambassador to Lebanon lost an eye in the attack.

After that attack, Hezbollah began using walkie-talkies, and they exploded.

When the terrorists decided to meet in person in Lebanon Friday, someone bombed the meeting.

Israel has not confirmed it carried out the attacks, nor is it likely they will ever lay claim to them, but U.S. intelligence officials who talked to their favorite intelligence mouthpiece, the New York Times, claimed Israel pulled it off. Time will tell what the truth is.

This operation has obviously been planned for quite some time.

Though Israeli intelligence agencies were completely caught off guard by Hamas's Iran-backed October 7 attack, they appear to be trying to make up for that huge intelligence debacle.

Most people have no idea who Alissa Heinerscheid is, but conservatives should send her a big fat thank-you note.

The former marketing VP did more to change the fortunes of consumer activism in this country than anyone ever dreamed.

The moment she plastered Dylan Mulvaney’s face on Bud Light’s blue cans, the entire script from the last 20 years flipped. Suddenly, it wasn’t the cocky CEOs of major brands holding all the power — but an army of Americans who, thanks to that six-pack, have brought the entire landscape of corporate America to its knees.

And this election is proof.

When Democrats pushed out a list of “88 Business Leaders for Harris” endorsements last week, it was meant to give the vice president some credibility on economic issues.

And maybe it was an impressive stat if all people read was the headline. After all, Hillary Clinton had less than 60 of these same corporate backers in 2016.

But what’s extremely revealing about these names, especially the ones attached to popular U.S. brands, is that almost all of Harris’s support comes from former CEOs and chairmen of companies who no longer represent the business.

In other words, these past-tense executives, who make up half of the 88 names, are listed even though they don’t qualify as actual leaders of anything.

Here’s what this should say to every American who’s taken a stand on the extremism of major companies: You’re winning.

In March of this year, Bryan Malinowski, the executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, was killed by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) during a pre-dawn raid of his home.

It was an unwarranted and indefensible killing of a kind that should never, ever happen in a free country like the United States.

Because we have a media that no longer serves in its traditional role as a government watchdog, this incident was not widely reported.

Because too many members of Congress no longer take seriously their responsibility to protect the rights of those who elect them, the ATF has suffered no repercussions.

How and why did this killing take place?

Dressed in SWAT gear, together with Little Rock police, they showed up in ten vehicles at Malinowski’s house before dawn on March 19.

They cut the power to his house and put a piece of tape over the doorbell camera so that Malinowski couldn’t see who they were.

Less than a minute later, after an exchange of gunfire, Malinowski was dead.

This article is about three types of assassination.

The first, which President Trump has endured nonstop since he first entered the political arena, is character assassination.

The second is legal assassination, sometimes called “lawfare.” The term is appropriate, because it is derived from warfare.

This is the attempt to lawlessly, but under the guise of law, bankrupt, ruin, defame and even imprison a dangerous political opponent.

In extreme cases, this opponent might even face life imprisonment, which is a legal equivalent of the death penalty.

(Murderers are often given the death penalty or life in prison, which some people say is a fate worse than death.)

And finally, when all else fails, there is actual assassination.

These three types of assassination are connected, and typically one leads to another.

Somehow the United States ended up this summer with no engaged president and an absent vice president who avoids the missing president and is frantically repudiating everything she co-owned the last three years.

The world was already confused over how President Joe Biden was apparently declared by unnamed Democratic insiders and donors unfit and unable to continue as their presidential candidate—as if he were a dethroned Third-World usurper.

It further wondered how those who staged his removal had no problem allowing him, in his debilitated state, to continue as America’s commander-in-chief until January 20, 2025.

They demonstrated their priorities that focus on retaining power, not the welfare of the nation or the will of over 14 million Biden primary voters.

Vice President Kamala Harris, until Biden’s forced abdication, was judged by these same backroom fixers as too incompetent to ever be commander-in-chief and thus for three years a good reason why Biden apparently was not forced out earlier.

Now nominal Vice President Harris is on the campaign trail nonstop, while Biden has taken the most vacation time off and worked the shortest workweek in presidential memory.

The world again wonders who is in charge, what they believe, who is a friend, and who is an enemy.

Greetings, y'all. The title of this week’s missive comes from a song by Rick Springfield, “Don’t Talk to Strangers.”

I find it unconscionable that we somehow believe that we should enter into negotiations and talks with Islamic jihadists, also known as terrorists.

This past Labor Day weekend again evidenced why that is a futile pursuit.

Six hostages who were taken during the heinous raid into Israel last year on October 7th were found dead in a tunnel system under the city of Rafah.

Their names are HerschGoldberg-Polin (23), Carmel Gat (40), Alexander Lobanov (32), Almog Sarusi (27), Eden Yerushalmi (24) and Ori Danino (25).

Two of them were young women, and one of them was an American citizen.

These barbaric animals, Hamas, forced them to make propaganda videos before they were executed — shot in the head at close distance — which they are now releasing.

So, why do we talk to individuals who have as their charter the elimination, eradication, and extermination of an entire group of people because they are Jewish?

What was also quite disconcerting was Joe Biden’s warning to Israel not to enter Rafah. What did he and the Biden administration know?

Ceasefire? I am waiting for someone to explain why.

The arrest of New York Gov. Kathy Hochul’s former aide Linda Sun this week has shown the vulnerability of state governments in navigating Chinese interference attempts while Beijing is actively targeting them, top intelligence experts say.

Sun worked at the New York State (NYS) government for more than ten years during Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Hochul’s tenures, including as Hochul’s deputy chief of staff.

She was arrested and charged on Sept. 3 with violating and conspiring to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act, visa fraud, alien smuggling, and money laundering conspiracy. Her husband Chris Hu was also arrested and charged with separate offenses.

Sun, a naturalized U.S. citizen who immigrated from China when she was five, was accused of doing the bidding of four Chinese Consulate officials and two Chinese Communist Party (CCP) agents.

This included blocking communications between the NYS government and representatives of Taiwan, screening the governors’ messages to keep out references of Taiwan’s official name and human rights atrocities against the Uyghur people, smuggling a Chinese consulate official into a private NYS government conference call, and providing unauthorized invitation letters for Chinese provincial delegates to fraudulently obtain U.S. visas—for monetary and other benefits worth millions of dollars, mostly via her husband’s business.

The case has exposed a glaring security problem, according to two intelligence experts who both held a number of senior national security roles in government.

In theory, it should be hard for Kamala Harris to win the presidency of the United States.

Under pressure, Harris just completed her first “live interview”—a disastrous performance that was mysteriously taped, edited, and emotionally supported by her co-interviewed running mate.

During the interview, she claimed that her values remain the same even though her manifestations of them have admittedly changed.

Translated, that means for the next 70 days, she will advocate for popular policies antithetical to her own values, which will inevitably resurface after the election once the current façade fades away.

She is a Berkelyite who, as attorney general of California, had a proud far-left tenure. The lifelong large corpus of Harris’s left-wing enthusiasm and causes are only now being unearthed.

Unlike other leftists, she really was a proud, woke radical and wanted everyone else to be one as well—broadcasting her leftism as openly as she is now cloaking it.

In one respected survey, Harris’s voting record was rated as the most left-leaning in the United States Senate.

If she voted to the left of the admitted hardcore socialist Bernie Sanders, what exactly does that make her?

They say history repeats itself. Properly forewarned, it doesn’t have to.

As Americans prepare to write a pivotal history for the ages this November—one way or another—it might be helpful to take a quick look at an earlier moment in time when a much divided, fractured world faced a pivotal challenge with one man at the barricade and the rest of the world too complacent to help.

Constantinople, the city that Constantine the Great founded in 330 AD and that the Theodosian walls later protected, stood as the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire for 1,000 years.

Although the rising Ottoman empire, by 1500, would stretch from the modern states of Algeria to Yemen to Hungary, in 1453, Constantinople was still Christian and a major thorn in the side of Muslim Sultan Mehmed II. He planned to fix that.

By late May, after besieging the city for two months and making no headway, Mehmed prepared to retreat. A small number of his advisors suggested giving the siege one last day before they withdrew. Mehmed agreed, and on May 29, the Ottomans threw everything they had at the city. Constantinople’s defenders repulsed the first three Ottoman assaults, and the Ottoman generals despaired at the prospect of defeat.

But then one of the great turning points in history happened.

Consider Mark Zuckerberg’s revelation and its implications for our understanding of the last four years, and what it means for the future.

On many subjects important to public life today, vast numbers of people know the truth, and yet the official channels of information sharing are reluctant to admit it. 

The Fed admits no fault in inflation and neither do most members of Congress.

The food companies don’t admit the harm of the mainstream American diet.

The pharmaceutical companies are loath to admit any injury.

Media companies deny any bias. So on it goes.

And yet everyone else does know, already and more and more so.

 

This is why the admission of Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg was so startling. It’s not what he admitted. We already knew what he revealed. What’s new is that he admitted it.

We are simply used to living in a world swimming in lies.

It rattles us when a major figure tells us what is true or even partially or slightly true. We almost cannot believe it, and we wonder what the motivation might be.

All arranged without any real votes cast. Pretty neat trick, pulled off under the banner of Saving Our Democracy.

Please understand that it was the result of hypnotizing so many vulnerable personalities into a mass formation psychosis.

They were vulnerable because they are scared stiff by propaganda specifically targeting their deepest archetypal fears — in this case, fear of Daddy, meaning fear of behavioral boundaries, in short, of being civilized.

A long time ago, Charles Martel, uncrowned ruler of the Franks, led his Christian army to victory over the forces of Arab commander Abd al-Rahman al-Ghafiqi at the Battle of Tours (October 10, 732 C.E.).

The defeat of the Muslim invaders, especially dreaded for their heavy cavalry, marked a turning point in the long-standing war against the Umayyad Caliphate.

After crushing the Visigoths at the Battle of Guadalete (July 19, 711 C.E.), they had earned a reputation for being invincible as they expanded their dominion toward the north of the Iberian Peninsula, founding the province of al-Andalus.

At one point, it seemed inevitable that they would march on Paris. It is stated by historians, however, that the Frankish infantry finally succeeded in stemming the Islamization of Western Europe. At least for the time being.

 

It may very well be that present-day migrants, who traverse entire continents to reach the post-Christian, liberal, and affluent societies, landing on south-facing shores of Spain or crowding at border posts in the Balkans, are not armed and organized in ranks on arrival in the West.

However, they are far more numerous than the saber-wielding cavalrymen that ravaged Christendom in the past. They make a formidable invasion force.

It has been the most efficient offensive of the entire war. Ukrainian intelligence identified the Russians’ weak points. Special forces crossed the frontier in advance to prepare the ground. And when the attack on the Kursk oblast came on 6 August, it was a textbook example of what strategists call an all-arms maneuver.

This is the most significant Ukrainian victory in two years. Russian infrastructure is being degraded, bridges thrown down, gas installations hit. More airfields, refineries and supply depots are now within range. The gas plant in Sudzha has had its rail links cut. The nuclear power station in Kursk is at risk. Around 130,000 Russian civilians have been displaced.

What is Ukraine’s strategic goal? As is often the case, the offensive had a chief objective and several secondary ones. The principal aim was to alter the calculus within Russia, making the war less attractive and turning key figures against the man determined to prosecute it at any cost, Vladimir Putin. But before we come to that, let us consider what else Ukraine hoped to achieve.

Every farmer, and most country people, know the insidious problem posed by rodents. The most common of these pesky rodents are, of course, mice and rats.

And, because their nature is to hide and invade by night, they create a need for more devious means of eradication than mere trapping. The solution is to feed them a poison they won’t fear eating, so others will also ingest it and die.

Blood thinners are, by far, the most commonly used for this purpose. They usually require multiple feedings and do their work over a period of several days, allowing others to be comfortable with the environment and taking the bait for themselves. It all works very well, but how?

Over a period of time, the blood is rendered unburdened by what it was meant to do. The platelets and other coagulants are similarly unburdened by their original purpose and the rodent dies without knowing why or what hit it.

 

To unburden someone or something of what “has been” is to unburden it from the lessons learned or the discoveries made that cumulatively create what we might call knowledge or wisdom. To “re-imagine” something is to reject it as it is, and find a replacement which may very well be inferior.

But the current group of people who make up the Biden-Harris administration find “what has been” America, a burden. They look at the United States as a blank canvas as one may roller-paint the Mona Lisa with ceiling white and start over.

The political philosophies of Engels, Marx, and Hegel are the rat poison of a country.

One of the most fascinating things about Elon Musk’s interview with Donald Trump was the audience demographic. According to X data, 77% of the people who tuned in were aged 34 or younger.

This supports what a young man told me, which is that his generation is uninterested in old people’s media and looks only to alternative media for information.

Now, it turns out that Barron Trump, working behind the scenes, and his friend Bo Loudon, who is the face of the duo, are working hard to show these young voters that Donald Trump may be old, but Kamala Harris is the one stealing their futures.

The moment that Trump stepped into the political arena in 2015, Melania went full Mama Bear, protecting Barron from public scrutiny. This was absolutely the right thing to do.

However, now that he’s turned 18 and left high school, the 6’9” Barron seems to be breaking out of the protective barrier his mama created for him….

While Barron is still keeping a low public profile, he’s working with his friend Bo behind the scenes to change the election dynamic among young people. The mainstream media are ignoring them, but Fox and non-American media outlets are starting to notice.

In June, the Texas Supreme Court rejected a lawsuit claiming that the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) had broken the law when it set the wholesale price of electricity at $9,000 per megawatt hour for about 80 hours during the Texas blackouts that occurred during Winter Storm Uri in February 2021.

The PUCT’s commissioners had dictated the price of electricity because they believed that market-driven “energy prices across the system…as low as approximately $1,200” did not “accurately reflect the scarcity conditions in the market.”

Their decision drove the total cost of electricity for those three days to as high as $38 billion, more than Texans had paid for electricity over the previous 12 months.

The Supreme Court never sought to understand why….They did not question whether the PUCT actually could or should manage the almost $50 billion a year Texas electricity market.

Their focus was to “ensure that the courts will stay in their lane” by not interfering with regulators.
