HALF-FULL REPORT 05/29/15

In the last few days, a video has gone viral of Egyptian newscasters saying what they really think of President Zero:

Okay it’s a spoof.  It’s a real broadcast posted on Memritv.org that’s been cleverly captioned like a Hitler Downfall parody.  Like most great humor, what makes it funny is it’s "kidding on the square" – to be joking so that people laugh, but at the same time really mean it.

It is thoroughly believable that Egyptians, faced with the subhuman savagery of ISIS at their doorstep, would think the President of the United States actually is mentally unhinged when he claims glowarming is an "indisputable" national security threat.

ISIS is committing a "staggering array of atrocities," according to a UN report released last Saturday (5/23):  "Women in ISIS strongholds are routinely raped, tortured, enslaved, and murdered by the Islamic extremists, who have made the brutalization of females a central element of their ideology."

Fox reported on Tuesday (5/26) that ISIS is trying to buy nukes.  And that the FBI has issued a warning of "near-term threats" on US military bases by ISIS terrorists.

In response, Zero wished us all a "Happy Memorial Day Weekend" with a picture of himself eating an ice cream cone.  No American flags, no soldier’s death being hallowed, just him and an ice cream cone surrounded by an adoring press.  No doubt, pathological narcissism is a form of insanity.

We have a lot of ground to cover this week, foreign and domestic.  Let’s start with the most bizarre.

It turns out that a group of commie beggars appropriately calling themselves MORE (Missourians Organizing for Reform and Empowerment) hired a gang of black thugs to riot and trash the city of Ferguson, causing the violent vandalism that left the downtown in ruins.  MORE promised to pay the thugs $5,000 a month to commit mayhem.

Some 500 of them came from all over the country – Boston, , Chicago, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles and other cities.  500 times $5k is $2.5 mil – and MORE has stiffed most of them.  So here’s the lovable part of this saga:  The thugs who trashed Ferguson are protesting at the offices of MORE demanding to be paid for their rioting.

Now the question is, was a rent-a-mob hired to trash Baltimore as well?  TTPer Edd Forke has his suspicions.  Meanwhile, he’s trying to figure out what the difference is between these two groups of rioters, one in Kenya, the other in Baltimore.  You can see the difference, right?  The ones in Kenya just seem to be really curious.

Best headline of the week: Federal Appeals Court Deals Blow to Obama’s Amnesty.  The ruling came on Tuesday (5/26), and the libs at Politico were pessimistic, for they think it jeopardizes Zero’s immigration legacy.

But wait, there’s more!  The ruling prompted the WaPo to declare that Zero’s entire legacy is in legal jeopardy:  "Same-sex marriage. Obamacare. Climate change. Now immigration. In many cases, there is significant doubt about whether his signature initiatives will stand legal scrutiny."

SCOTUS will issue decisions on the first three next month.  (Note:  if Ginsburg’s is the deciding vote for homosexual "marriage," there will be a movement to impeach her.)  On Zero’s Amnesty, since the Court closes next month, a ruling on that won’t be issued up to a year from now – causing a huge delay in getting illegals registered to vote Dem in November 2016.

As Rasmussen disclosed today (5/29), a majority of Democrats think illegal aliens should be able to vote.  Of course they do.  They care nothing for either morality or legality, just power however acquired.

************

Dem power could suffer an enormous setback via a decision SCOTUS made on Tuesday (5/26) – not a ruling but in agreeing to hear a case called Evenwel v. Abbott.  Remember the name, this is a BFD.

We’ve all heard that a basic principle of democracy is "One man one vote."  You only get to vote once, not as many times as you want like the Dems do whenever they can.

But representation (who you vote for) is based on voting districts with roughly equal numbers of people in them, not eligible voters.  Illegal aliens, children, felons etc. are all counted along with eligible voters in creating boundaries of a voting district.

Evenwel v. Abbott challenges this, saying it’s a violation of the 14th Amendment.  (Note that the case’s title is changed from "Perry" to "Abbott" as Texas has a new governor.)  If the Court agrees, it could change the entire process of redistricting in the country, a vast shift of political power that, the New York Times complains, "benefits Republicans."

Speaking of media bias, you can’t get a clearer example of how the Lying Swine twists the news than this WaPo headline on Wednesday (5/27):  EPA Strengthens Federal Protections for Small Streams.

It’s the strengthening of the EPA’s relentless fascist assault on private property rights.  Someone who understands this is Congressman Steve Scalise (R-LA):

"EPA’s attempt to redefine ‘navigable waterways’ to include every drainage ditch, backyard pond, and puddle is a radical regulatory overreach that threatens to take away the rights of property owners and will lead to costly litigation and lost jobs. The House is committed to fighting back against this radical policy."

And Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK), chairman of the Senate Committee on Environmental and Public Works, who vows that "I will not allow… the EPA’s unprecedented land grab."

Let’s wish them well.  What guys like Inhofe and Scalise really need, however, is a president who wants to abolish the entire EPA.

************

Could that be Wisconsin’s Scott Walker?  The link is to a Breitbart interview on Monday (5/25) where he said, "We have a federal government that’s too big to fail. We need a government that’s small enough to succeed."

Walker is promising not to slow down the growth of government, not to stop the growth in its tracks, but to reverse it.  No one in our lifetimes has been able to do that, not even Reagan.

One way he sees (although he wouldn’t use this language), is to bribe Congress into eliminating federal programs by giving their states and districts the money instead.  No strings, no rules, because the federalie agencies issuing the strings and rules no longer exist.  Very clever, very cool.

************

Another prez candidate becoming increasingly cool is Carly Fiorina.  She impressed the heck out of the hard noses at the New Hampshire Union Leader this week (5/27).  She rattled the cages of the libs at BuzzFeed (5/26) by simultaneously attacking Common Core and competition from China:

"I have been doing business in China for decades, and I will tell you that yeah, the Chinese can take a test, but what they can’t do is innovate.  They are not terribly imaginative. They’re not entrepreneurial, they don’t innovate, that is why they are stealing our intellectual property."

The HFR could not agree more.  As noted two weeks ago (HFR 05/15/15):  "There is more creativity, more innovation, and more desire to capitalize on both in America than anywhere else on the planet by far.  In this, we leave China in the dust."

************

So the HFR is paying close attention to Walker and Fiorina.  But it wishes a pox on no-chance, ego-tripping has-beens like Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, and George Pataki.  The latter two announced their candidacies this week.  So what?  The sooner they just go away, the better.  The same of course for the clownish loudmouth Donald Trump.

The first tier right now, who really should be on that debate stage, are:  Cruz, Rubio, Walker, Perry, increasingly Fiorina, and sadly, Jeb Bush.

Jeb just asked a dear friend of mine to be his campaign finance chairman.  He said no, telling him: "Your family has played a distinguished role in history.  You’ve been a governor, both your dad and brother have been president.  Don’t ask more of history.  Let it be."

You’d have to add Dr. Ben Carson, even though he a very (no pun intended) dark horse as his legion of fans would demand it.  The second tier of Jindal, Kasich, and Lindsay Graham… well, they’re late to the party, we’ll have to see.

What about Christie?  He’s toast given his inability to get the New Jersey economy out of the tank.  And you ask, hey, what about Rand Paul?  It finally happened this week.  That suicide belt of Blame America First Libertarianism he wears blew up and killed his candidacy.

On Wednesday (5/27), the headline story was: Rand Paul says that GOP hawks "created" ISIS.  Within hours, the Wall Street Journal savaged his claim with a headline of  ridicule:  Rand Paul Created ISIS.

Like father, like son.  His father blamed America for everything – 9/11, why Moslems don’t like us, whatever, it’s our fault, always.  Murray Rothbard Libertarianism (see No Paulista, January 2008).

Rand is infected with it, and all the great stuff he advocates domestically doesn’t matter.  He doesn’t want to defend America from its enemies.  Goodnight, Rand.  Roger Simon says the same.

Let’s get out into the world now and see what’s happening.

This morning (5/29), Poland made the election of Andrezj Duda as president official.  My friends there are excited.  They tell me:

"Duda’s victory means a shift to the right towards more conservative and traditional values. The party in power that he defeated unfortunately drifted too much to the left recently.  It departed from a pro-business stance at the expense of increasing red tape, taxes, regulations and bureaucracy to a level never seen in Poland before. So, many business people believe that it can only be better now."

You can also expect Poland under Duda to take an increasingly tougher stance regarding Russian bullying.  He’ll ally with the three Baltic states and with Ukraine to support them against Putin.

This is such good news that I’ll be taking a group of friends to Poland in September to meet President Duda.   We’ll do the same in Lithuania.  To top it off, we’ll also visit the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad that’s between Poland and Lithuania on the Baltic Sea.  I’ll keep TTPers posted as the details get finalized.

************

Poland’s voters soberly and intelligently made their electoral choice.  Obviously that’s not the same with those in Ireland.  Their brains must have been addled by too much Guinness or Jameson’s or something that de-activated their pre-frontal cortexes when they voted to legalize homosexual "marriage on Saturday (5/23).

As the Vatican said, the vote was "a defeat for humanity."  Maybe the Irish will sober up and realize what they’ve done someday.

************

Great news in Venezuela:  the end of the Chavista nightmare may be in sight.  The bolivar currency has collapsed, inflation is at 500% and rising fast.  Life in Caracas is all downhill.

The country has been exposed as a narco-state, with the chief drug kingpin Diosdado Cabello, the leader of Parliament and President Maduro’s second in command.  Diosdado ("Godsent") runs the cartel that has turned his country into a "global cocaine hub."

The quicker this economy and government can be flushed down the drain, the better it will be for its honest people to rebuild it.

Something very important is happening in Indonesia.  It’s the world’s fourth most populous country (after China, India, and the US), and 88% of its 252 million people are Moslem – 222 million, the largest Moslem population on the planet.

The chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), the nation’s largest Moslem organization, Said Aqil Siradj, has made a very public speech (5/20) explaining that at independence from Holland in 1949, Indonesia was established as "a darussalam (a peaceful country) instead of a darul Islam (Islamic country)."

The foundation of Indonesia as a nation, he took pains to make clear, were the values of peace and tolerance, of democracy and national harmony – and not exclusively on Islamic teachings, as these are universal values.  "The Republic of Indonesia was never meant to be an Islamic state," he proclaimed.

You may want to read these last two sentences again and let their import sink in.  The most respected Islamic leader in the world’s largest Islamic country said this to 222 million Moslems.  You may wonder why.

He made that clear too:  "An organization that has the intention of establishing a religion-based state is a threat to Indonesia’s unity."

He was talking about ISIS.  He’s heading it off at the pass.  The very last thing Indonesia’s leaders want, religious and political and business, is for ISIS butcher lunacy to gain a foothold in their country.

Indonesia is taking the lead in getting the Moslem world in general to rid itself of the ISIS cancer.  This is exceedingly good news globally.  Which is why Said Aqil Siradj is the HFR Hero of the Week.

************

We’ll close by noting that ISIS is serving a needed and useful purpose in the Islamic world.  It is committing the most unbelievable Nazi-like atrocities and justifying them by the actions of Mohammed.  It is thus forcing a lot of Moslems to rethink their desire to return to the 7th century.

Breitbart has a story this week (5/23) with an eye-catching headline:  ISIS Estimates Michelle Obama’s Worth As Slave Girl is $40.

Yes, it’s funny to see Moo-shell be humiliated.  But take a look beyond the headline.  It quotes an article in Dabiq, the ISIS publication, entitled "Slave Girls or Prostitutes" – which justifies all the horrors ISIS terrorists are perpetrating on women by how Mohammed himself treated women.

It praises "our Prophet’s raiding of the kuffār (infidels, non-Moslems) – he would kill their men and enslave their children and women."  The women and young girls were sex-slaves.  Raping them is the proper way to show them the humiliation they deserve for not being Moslem.

Thus, "rape shows the girls the true meaning of life, which is to abide by Islam."

Thanks to ISIS, millions of Moslems are beginning to say, "No, I don’t want this."  And with any luck, the first small seed of doubt will be planted in their minds, as they begin to wonder, "Was Mohammed really such a good guy after all?"
