HALF-FULL REPORT 05/01/15

It’s May Day.  For millennia, this has been a joyful celebration of the end of winter, with flowers and happy festivities.  Today, you’ll notice news stories like, Oakland Braces for Major May Day Mayhem, Thousands March on May Day in NYC to ‘Disarm the NYPD’,  May Day Protest Photos from Around the World.

It’s not May Day, it’s Commie Day.  How it became that way was told last year (May 1, 2014) in May Day Should Be May Day, Not Commie Day.

It’s what actually happened, so while the history may make you ill, it really is a must-read.

Last weekend was our Vegas Rendezvous, and many attendees said it was the best ever.  It really was fabulous.  I can’t thank all our amazing speakers enough – Bob Boback, Joe Katzman, Jack Kelly, Brian Jensen, Will Block, USMC Captain Brandon Wheeler, and Rebel Holiday.

That gratitude certainly also goes to Miko who so capably organized and managed the Rendezvous, and to Dan Barak, whose Google Earth skills enable me to give my Map of the Future talk.

Most especially, though, I want to express my appreciation to our marvelous TTPer attendees.  Everyone, both veterans and newbies, had such a wonderful time together, and participated so thoughtfully with informed, insightful questions.  Personally, it was such a pleasure to see and meet them all.

And now, if you were one of them, I’d like to ask you a favor.  I’d like to ask you to record your impressions of the Rendezvous – what you learned, the memories you have, the value of it to you – on the Forum.  The place to do so is in the Comments section for this HFR .  I’d really appreciate it.  Thanks…

Meanwhile, I hope you read Joe Katzman’s The New Conservative Counter-Culture posted just before the Rendezvous last week (4/23).  It was an intro to his Rendezvous talk, for which he had an impressive slide presentation.  Joe was kind enough to reformat it for everyone – so here is Joe Katzman’s Hope & Change 2.0: The Insurgencies Rendezvous Slide Presentation.  Thanks, Joe!

We’ll have videos of the other speakers ready hopefully soon.

A great tragedy occurred this past week.  On Saturday (4/25), a gigantic 7.9 earthquake struck central Nepal.  My friends there tell me that up to 10,000 people have died, and much of the capital of Kathmandu lies in rubble.  Through them, I expressed my deepest condolences to the Nepalese, and I’m sure you do as well.

Such earthquakes have been occurring in what is now Nepal for eons. It’s how the Himalayas rose from the bottom of a giant inland sea. The ongoing process of the Indian plate subducting (sliding under) the main Asian plate began some 55 million years ago, and will continue for a long time to come.  The process was described at the start of The Pamir Knot (September 2010).

The good news is that the damage is far from total.  The famous Yak and Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu suffered no major damage. It’s "business as usual" in Pokhara, the main city in central Nepal. And the remote Mustang region was hardly touched.

Which means that our Lost Kingdom of Lo expedition this August is still on.

Nepal and its people have suffered a horrible catastrophe.  But Nepal will rise from the rubble and be back on its feet soon.  We wish them every success in doing so.

The protohominid thugs who trashed their own city, Baltimore, this week would have been regarded as good news by Vladimir Lenin and Saul Alinsky.  If we wished to be Leninist and Alinskyite, so would we.  Anything that helped bring down or damage The System they cheered for – in Lenin-Alinsky’s case, the system of capitalism.

For us, however, what we want to bring down is the Anti-Capitalist Hate America System run by Zero and the Democrat Fascist Party.  It’s all too obvious to a substantial majority of Americans who to blame for the black racist violence in Democrat-controlled Baltimore.  As Jack Kelly says today, The Blame for Baltimore Lies with Democrats.

Or as Ted Cruz explained on Wednesday (4/29), "Obama has inflamed racial tensions, divided us rather than bringing us together."

We’ll see if the other Pub candidates have the moxie to tell the truth like Cruz – for this is an opportunity to help Americans see the truth.

One politician who decided a little truth-telling was in order regarding Baltimore is Melih Gokcek, the mayor of Ankara, the capital of Turkey.  Well, actually, he used the Baltimore riots as an excuse to tell the truth about Marie Harf.

We’ve been ridiculing her for a long time.  As Jack Kelly puts it, she’s "the ‘dumber’ half of the State Department’s Dumb and Dumber tag team of spokessluts."

Now Mayor Gokcek has gotten into the act (4/29), publicly denouncing Marie Harf as a "stupid blonde."  She is dumb as a stump, no doubt about it – such as her claiming ISIS terrorists behead people because they don’t have good job opportunities.  So we’re on the Ankara mayor’s side here.

What we’d really like to see, though, is for Harf to get an IQ infusion, and explain how Gokcek’s boss, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is the primary sponsor of ISIS.

As usual, Richard Rahn wrote an excellent essay for us this week, Secrets of Swiss Success (4/28).  With apologies to Richard, however, while there’s good reason to assert that Switzerland is the happiest country on the planet, the study that makes the claim, the UN’s World Happiness Report issued last week (4/23), can’t be trusted (I know – the UN can’t be trusted, you’re so surprised…)

You know the report has been gamed when you see Venezuela is #23.  The report is a bad joke.  Venezuela is one of the most miserable, rapidly-failing states on earth, yet it’s ranked happier than Singapore or Chile or 135 other countries.  Rwanda, by contrast, one of Africa’s truly happiest countries, is ranked right at the bottom, 154 out of 158.

Folks in Kigali (Rwanda’s capital) evidently didn’t bribe the UN report editors enough, while those in Caracas did.

Obviously, Pope Francis paid no attention to the Cornwall Alliance’s Open Letter to him, which TTP published ereyesterday (4/29).  The pontiff had ample time to reflect on the excellent case the letter made against man-made global warming before then, yet on Tuesday he chose politically correct science fraud over being scientifically literate.

Maybe he just isn’t that bright.  In any regard, the Catholic Pope’s religion is supposed to be Christianity, not Warmism.  For that is what Warmism is, a religion, not science, and it’s an Anti-Christian/Anti-Human one to boot.  Very sad, very disappointing.

************

We do have, by contrast, a Thank God Department this week.  On Tuesday (4/28), the headline appeared on Fox News that we’ve been praying for:

‘We will not obey’: Christian leaders threaten civil disobedience if Supreme Court legalizes gay marriage

At last, at last, at last!  Mass refusal to disobey fascist laws and judicial rulings, mass civil disobedience against them.  Exactly what we’ve been hoping and praying for.  It took the issue of "same-sex" fascism to spark it.  That issue is explained in The Pledge in Solidarity to Defend Marriage.

Once again, Ted Cruz took the lead, explaining in Iowa on Saturday (4/25), the issue is "liberal fascism vs. religious liberty," between intolerant Democrats vs. Christians.

What we need now is deeds, not words – not just declaring and pledging "We will not obey," but actually not obeying, actually being arrested and going to jail for not obeying unjust fascist judicial rulings like the civil rights heroes of the 1960s.

If that happens, then the "We will not obey" movement could spread to the myriad of other fascist issues – like, say, the EPA or the IRS.

Dismantling the Democrat Fascist Chokehold on our culture and society can only be done via a mass movement of civil disobedience – it has to become the civil rights movement of our day.

Let’s wish the Christian leaders spearheading this movement every success – and let’s join them.

We close with the HFR Hero of the Week – who happens to be a 12 year-old kid in the 6th grade at Bennett Middle School in Salisbury, Maryland.

Yesterday (4/30), young Osman Yahya got to interview the President of the United States in a video show to promote reading and writing among kids.  When Osman asked Zero how best to overcome writer’s block, Zero rambled on and on for over three minutes – until the 12 year-old had the cojones to cut him off right on the air, interrupting the President by saying:

"Yeah, I think you’ve sort of covered everything about that question."

The audience laughed, Zero shut up, and a star is born.  Twitter exploded with admiration.  So does TTP.  Watch and enjoy…
