HALF-FULL REPORT 06/28/13

Aren’t you dizzy?  This week’s events are like a ride on Full Throttle, the world’s fastest-tallest roller coaster that just opened (6/22) at Six Flags Magic Mountain north of LA.

Might as well start with the Treason Vote in the Senate yesterday (6/27).  The 2,000 page Amnesty Bill – S744 – passed 68-32.  Here’s the roll call.  All 54 Dems-Yes, 32 Pubs-No.  The 14 Pubs voting Yes: Alexander-TN, Ayotte-NH, Cheisa-NJ, Collins-ME, Corker-TN, Flake-AZ, Graham-SC, Hatch-UT, Heller-NV, Hoeven-ND, Kirk-IL, McCain-AZ, Murkowski-AK, Rubio-FL.

14 reasons why the Republican Party as ruled by its Establishment Elite has to be demolished, as in going the way of the Whigs.

Supposedly, the bill is DOA in the House.  The fate of our country seems now dependent on the word of John Boehner.

************

That fate took another kick in the groin on Wednesday (6/26) with Anthony Kennedy siding with the Supreme Court’s four libs against DOMA.  I urge you to read Justice Scalia’s Dissent, which TTP ran entire in clearly readable format.

His Dissent is brilliant not only for exposing Kennedy’s ludicrous reasoning that DOMA must be overturned because of Congress’ malicious motivation in passing it – but in explicating the limited role of the Supreme Court itself.

The Supreme Court, he explains, has no "judicial supremacy" over the other two branches of our federal government.  The Framers explicitly provided for "a government of separate and coordinate powers," in order to guard the people’s "right to self-rule against the black-robed supremacy that today’s majority [of the Court] finds so attractive."

"For this reason," Scalia continues, "we [Court Justices] are quite forbidden to say what the law is whenever (as today’s opinion asserts) ‘an Act of Congress is alleged to conflict with the Constitution.’ Ante, at 12. We can do so only when that allegation will determine the outcome of a lawsuit, and is contradicted by the other party."

"The ‘judicial Power’," he concludes, "is not, as the majority believes, the power ‘to say what the law is,’ ibid., giving the Supreme Court the ‘primary role in determining the constitutionality of laws.’ The majority must have in mind one of the foreign constitutions that pronounces such primacy for its constitutional court and allows that primacy to be exercised in contexts other than a lawsuit. See, e.g., Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany, Art. 93."

Scalia is saying the Court’s DOMA decision is constitutionally invalid.  His Dissent is a masterpiece.  There is no doubt whatever that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia is the HFR Hero of the Week.

************

The one thing about this DOMA decision that we can be grateful for is it wasn’t a Roe catastrophe that nationalized abortion.  That is, it didn’t nullify one man-one woman only marriage laws in all 50 states.  States can still pass these laws, and what laws exist remain valid – even though the Court scandalously let a homosexual federal judge (Vaughn Walker) overturn the California constitutional amendment (Prop 8) passed by 52% of voters.

So what now?  Will conservatives lie on their stomachs and let the homosexual lobby do what it wants to them?  Or will they stand up and fight for traditional marriage?  One dead end is the Federal Marriage Constitutional Amendment.  Such an effort requires for starters a two-thirds vote in the Senate – so forget that.  The battle is in the states.

Thirty states now have amendments in their state constitution affirming marriage for state law purposes as being between one man and one woman only.  Eleven other states have laws doing the same.  The focus should now be on elevating those laws into the state’s constitution.  More broadly, the focus must be on Red State America, for Blue State America may be unredeemable.

With this DOMA decision, the homosexual agenda will now accelerate.  The homosexualization of the US Military is already well underway.  Yesterday, SecDef Hagel said he "welcomes" the decision, and announced that burial at Arlington will now be available for military ‘same-sex spouses.’

Meanwhile, the New York Times reported this week (6/23) that the majority of sexual assaults in the US military are by men on other men.

************

It’s hard to believe that the issue of "same-sex marriage" is less than 10 years old – when in February 2004, the Massachusetts Supreme Court created a "right" to it out of legal thin air.  After all, that there has been no such right before, as Justice Scalia put it, was "unquestioned in virtually all societies for virtually all of human history."

(Note as an aside the reaction of President Bush: "Marriage is a sacred institution between a man and a woman. If activist judges insist on re-defining marriage by court order, the only alternative will be the constitutional process. We must do what is legally necessary to defend the sanctity of marriage."  Comparing his decency to the depravity of his successor can bring you to tears.)

Within a few days of that decision back in 2004, I wrote PHM: The Next Insanity – predicting that once homosexual "marriage" is accepted, the agenda will move then to the acceptance and legalization of polygamy.  Within hours of the DOMA decision, Renegade Mormons in Utah were demanding it.  Watch now for homosexuals to demand it – you can depend on it.

And as you gird your loins for this battle, I strongly encourage you to consider Marriage and the Missing Link from May 2009.  It explains how, for one million seven hundred thousand years, monogamous pair-bonding or marriage and the resultant nuclear family has been the foundation of human society – and why the Left constantly wages war against it.

************

Here’s where we’re headed by the way, which could not make the fascism of the left’s homosexual agenda more clear.

Right now, there is a law in Britain, the Public Order Act, that makes it a criminal imprisonable offense to criticize homosexual marriage.  The British Culture Secretary (yes, there’s a minister with that portfolio) Maria Miller now says she wants the act amended, "so those who believe same-sex weddings are wrong can say so publicly without fear of prosecution."

Good for her, but it is waaaay beyond Kafaesque outrageous that such a fascist law exists in the first place.  Watch for it to be advocated here.

Yet as revolting as the SCOTUS decision was on Wednesday, its vote on Tuesday (6/25) was thrilling – one of the reasons this week is a Full Throttle ride.  This time, Kennedy decided to join the good guys to void the key section of the Voting Rights Act.  This made Zero so, so very sad, and libtards everywhere, like at the LA Times, so, so very mad.

But, as the IBD argues, they should be celebrating, for the decision means the Voting Rights Act succeeded in banning ballot box racism in the South.  Again, the fury exposes their agenda – for the purpose of the VRA has become enabling stolen elections through voter fraud.  Southern states, no longer under the federalie boot heel, are now free to enact Voter ID laws.

Immediately, within an hour or two of the decision, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott announced that Texas will reestablish its Voter ID law.  Other states will soon follow.  The prospect of election fraud in 2014 is now greatly diminished.  It’s also a tremendous victory for the 10th Amendment.  It’s the best news of the week.

Here’s a shocker.  For the first time in my life, I agree with Hillary Clinton.  In fact, I couldn’t agree more with her, when she says that "America is ready for a woman president," that it would be "exactly the right historical signal" for America to do so.  Yes!  And that woman is…. Sarah Palin!  She’d make an infinitely – literally – better POTUS than the PIAPS.

I love Sarah as much as any TTPer (but why does Edd Forke keep sending me pictures of her in nice sweaters?).  Realistically, however, I don’t think she’ll run for the roses.  Right now, the main contenders in the GOP presidential sweepstakes are Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and… wait for it… Rick Perry.

He’s going for it, folks.  He’s not going to run for a fourth term as governor, his bloopers last year will be ancient history in 2016, his record will be unmatched as a successful state executive, so as of now, he’s the strong horse.  Keep an eye on him.

************

The Left sure is.  Which is why they worked themselves in such high dudgeon – wags are calling it "fauxtrage" – over Perry’s "attacking" their hero of the week, Texas State Senator Wendy Davis, who blocked the passage of an anti-abortion bill with a 10-hour filibuster Tuesday (6/25).

Here is what Perry said, addressing the National Right to Life convention in Dallas the next day:

"No life is trivial in God’s eyes. The fact is – who are we to say that children born into the worst of circumstances can’t live successful lives?  In fact, even the woman who filibustered the Senate the other day was born into difficult circumstances. She was the daughter of a single woman; she was a teenage mother herself. She managed to eventually graduate from Harvard Law School and serve in the Texas senate. It is just unfortunate that she hasn’t learned from her own example that every life must be given a chance to realize its full potential and that every life matters."

That’s magnificent. Who could condemn that?  The heartless Death Cult of the Left, who believes with deeply religious passion in the moral right of a mother to murder her children.  The libtard blogosphere is awash with hatred for Perry’s "attack" on poor little Wendy.

Wendy’s grandstanding filibuster will prove futile next week – for Perry has convened an extraordinary session of the Texas Legislature on Monday, July 1st, that will pass SB5, that makes abortions past 20 weeks illegal.  (All versions and bill history of SB5 are here.)

Wendy will end up being famous for her cool Mizuno Women’s Wave Rider 16 running shoes she wore during her filibuster.  But maybe not for much else.  Here’s what you should know.

Texas State Senators have four year terms, and she was reelected in 2012.  But there’s this odd quirk in Texas law requiring some to draw by lot a two year term once in a decade (after the census and post-redistricting).  Wendy drew the short straw and has to run in 2014.

Wendy’s district is the 10th, Fort Worth and adjacent parts of Tarrant County.  She barely won in 2012 with 51%.  And the 10th is mostly Republican – Romney carried it by 54% over Zero’s 46%.  A good GOP candidate could clean her clock.

That would be Tea Partyer Konni Burton.  All you Texas TTPers – I’d like you to consider supporting her however you can.  You can do so by going to konniburton.com.  Go Konni!

Zero gave a clinically lunatic speech on Tuesday (6/25) descrying something he called "carbon pollution."   It is suicidally lunatic to call carbon a pollutant.  It is the basis of life – all life on earth.

The best explanation that I’ve seen of how carbon does this – through its "extraordinary bonding abilities" enabling it to be an "ideal three-dimensional information-carrying structure" – is Werner Lowenstein’s The Touchstone of Life: Molecular Information, Cell Communication, and the Foundations of Life.

There could be no clearer evidence, as if any more is needed, that Zero is a fascist than this "Climate Action Plan" of his.  The Wall Street Journal calls him The Carbonated President.

Yet Zero’s "War on Coal" is good news for 2014.  It really helps Ken Cuccinelli get elected Governor in Virginia.  It will help defeat Dem Sens. Kay Hagan-NC, Mary Landrieu-LA, Mark Begich-AK, Mark Pryor-AS, and win open seats in West Virginia, Montana, Michigan, Iowa and Georgia.

What would really help Pub senatorial candidates in these races is to identify America’s principal problem as not just "carbon pollution" but Obama Pollution.

America is polluted and poisoned with the Fascism of Zero.  It is destroying our nation, our culture, our economy, and our people.  And the horrible, hideous, monstrous truth is:  This is what he wants

Most likely, most if not all Pub candidates won’t have the guts to spell this out to voters (except for Allen West if he runs against Marco Rubio).  But here is something they could say.  They could use a fun new word to describe Zero’s rich elite supporters and expose his carbon scam thereby.

That word is trougher (troff-er).  It’s more colorful than "crony capitalist" (which actually should be "crony socialist" or "crony fascist corporatist").  It’s a Brit term denoting someone who "uses public money for personal, political, or monetary gain," "a pig who gorges himself at the public trough at taxpayer expense."

All of the business leaders praised by Zero’s boss, Valerie Jarrett, for supporting Zero’s War on Coal and War on Energy, are troughers.

What we need, what America needs, is a War on Troughers.  A war on corporate big business pigs feeding at the public trough of taxpayer money, subsidies, and dispensations in the Federal Register granting them protection from competition.

And that means a War on Obama Pollution – so that Americans may breathe the clean air of freedom once again.
