Once again, the Faucinista Fascisti have managed to keep their Feardemic going with everyone catching the cure for covid, aka Omicron. Only they want everyone to be terrified of the cure, so they can cancel everyone’s Happy New Year.

It’s quite unbelievable that Americans have been putting up with this lunacy submission hoax for almost two years now.  But as everyone’s going to get Omicron now, with hardly anyone getting actually sick and no one actually dying, the realization will quickly be that the “pandemic” is over.

At that point, the question becomes, how do we all recover from this mass insanity?  There’s no one answer – but here’s one of the answers, that of being locked-down, cooped up and confined, either physically or psychologically.

It’s to increase hippocampal neurogenesis in your brain.  What this is was explained and discussed in Keeping Your Sanity XIX last May, so you might want to refresh yourself there.

The bottom line is to keep your brain young, alert, and energetic you need novelty – learn new things, have new experiences, always be exploring and curious about our world.

Making this a habit is one the absolute best ways to keep yourself sane today.  I’ve been trying to do this all my life.

My wife and sons want to make sure I don’t stop.  They have convinced me that I need to write another book before I complete The Father-Son Adventure.  An update to my first book written in 1976, The Adventurer’s Guide. It’s long overdue, they say, over 40 years overdue.

But way too much has happened since them to compress in a book.  Okay, they riposted, how about taking just, say, the Top Twenty Adventures you’ve had?    Yes, I could do that, I agreed.  So I got started yesterday.    I recorded for transcription how I got started on a life of exploration and adventure.

After listening to it last night, my wife Rebel insisted I share it with you on To The Point.  This is a first take rough draft of what will be the first chapter of my Top Twenty.  I’ve been the way I am since I was 14.  Rebel, Brandon, and Jackson  are ensuring I stay that way.
