THE MEDIA AND THE DEMS MAY DIE OF THE CHINA VIRUS

America will survive the China Coronavirus. The credibility of the MSM will not.

Fake Newsers have paid no price – yet – for the Russia collusion hoax, the Ukraine impeachment hoax, other gaslighting. But this is a hoax too far.

The China virus pandemic is no hoax. But to date, it hasn’t been nearly as deadly as was the H1N1 virus (swine flu), which in 2009-2010 may have infected up to 1.4 billion people worldwide, caused up to 575,000 deaths.

In America, about 59 million people caught the swine flu, more than 12,000 died.

The swine flu attacked the young and healthy. Nearly all of the relative few who’ve succumbed to the China virus so far were over the age of 80, had pre-existing medical conditions.

But back then no bars, restaurants or schools were closed, no sporting events or concerts were cancelled, no communities were “locked down.”

Life went on as normal, as it did during the 2018-2019 flu season, when CDC estimates  42.9 million Americans got sick, 647,000 were hospitalized, 61,200 died.

President Obama didn’t declare a national emergency over the swine flu until six months after the World Health Organization called it a pandemic – and more than 1,000 Americans had died.

The news media didn’t criticize Obama for his tardy response.

Thanks chiefly to hysterical “reporting” of wild speculation, rumors, half-truths and outright lies, the panicked response to the China virus has done much more harm than the virus itself.

“News” coverage has focused on worst-case scenarios, and alleged shortcomings in the president’s response to the pandemic.

President Trump acted more quickly and decisively than any other world leader. Europe is the epicenter of the pandemic because leaders there didn’t follow Trump when he imposed travel restrictions on China in January.

Epidemiologists praise the public-private partnership the president unveiled March 12, his slashing of red tape. A vaccine is being developed in record time.

Thanks to the aggressive actions taken by the administration and private sector partners, those who need to be tested will get tested, there’ll be hospital beds and ventilators for those who need them.

Leftist attacks will boomerang, because the crisis has given Trump the opportunity to exercise presidential leadership – and he’s delivering.

“The news media are losing the narrative war on this virus for the simple reason that what they are saying about the Trump admin is not being matched by what we are seeing coming out of the Trump administration,” said Unseen1. “We are seeing a well-run machine firing on all cylinders, not one in chaos.”

Praise for Trump’s performance from Democrat governors Gavin Newsome (CA) and Andrew Cuomo (NY) give the lie to snide comments made by pundits on CNN and MSNBC.

President Trump “is being the kind of leader Americans need.”

Hell may not have frozen over after CNN’s Dana Bash – normally a fierce critic – said that after the president’s news conference Tuesday (3/16), but moonbat heads exploded.

Trump has been doing such a good job that to smear him, journos are reduced to regurgitating Chinese propaganda.

Uncertainty fuels panic. Not knowing can be scarier than bad news.

It was easy for the MSM to stampede the herd. But eventually, sheep tire of running. As they catch their breath, more notice the rising disparity between worst case scenarios and what’s actually happening.

Data from China and South Korea indicate infection rates have peaked there well below the 50, 60, 70 percent rates some fear porn merchants predict for us.

In China, 0.006 percent of the population has been infected. South Korea through Monday (3/15) reported 7,513 cases in a population of 51 million – one in 6,800.

Only about two percent of Americans tested for the China virus to date have tested positive.

As more are tested, the number known to be infected will rise. But the mortality rate will plunge, because only a few of the newly tested will get very sick.

Viruses love cold, dry, dark. Viruses hate warm, sunny, humid. As Spring turns to summer, the China virus – like every other virus before it – should fade.

The daily White House news briefings are the only reliable source of information about the virus.

“VP Pence, Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birks, and Secretary Mnuchin are all impressive, informative, and perfectly suited to leading the federal response to this unprecedented crisis,” said the Bradford File. “They are calm, sober voices delivering results in a sea of media hysterics.”

The spiteful, supercilious “gotcha” questions journalists ask at these pressers make clear Fake Newsers care more about sliming the president than the health and safety of Americans.

Conservatives have known this about them for a long time. But millions who don’t follow politics closely are seeing the Lying Swine in action for the first time.

Only about 20 percent of American adults, roughly evenly divided between left and right, pay much attention to politics. Everyone is paying close attention to news about the China virus.

If by Memorial Day the China virus has faded to not much bigger a concern than seasonal flu, all and sundry will know the “crisis” was vastly overblown.

If they realize it was grossly exaggerated for political reasons, those hurt in the panic will be very, very angry at MSM gaslighters.

Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus.

After the media-fueled panic over the China virus, many now inclined to view Spygate as “just politics” likely will feel differently. Few ever again will take the MSM’s word at face value.

A collapse of MSM credibility in early summer couldn’t come at a worse time for Democrats. Durham’s indictments of Spygate felons will be made public about then.

By summer, millions more Americans will be aware that China is our foremost adversary.

The Russia collusion hoax will be deader than a doornail. Millions more will look askance at politicians who’ve been on China’s payroll – like, say, the corrupt, senile old pervert Democrats plan to nominate for president.
