A BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE

Isn’t this the most beautiful headline you’ve seen in quite a while?  Especially because it’s from CNN written by it’s hyper-lib editor Chris Cillizza on Wednesday (2/06):  THE COMPLETE AND UTTER COLLAPSE OF VIRGINIA’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

What’s going on in Virginia “is a classic example of the truism that evil always destroys itself, because that is the nature of evil,” thinks Unseen1.

If you haven’t been following events there (thus missing out on delicious schadenfreude), here’s a synopsis of the beautiful nightmare unfolding for the Dems:

At a news conference Jan. 30, Gov. Ralph Northam endorsed infanticide.

If an infant were born with “severe deformities,” or was “nonviable,” then “a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mothers” about whether to let the child die, Northam said.

Two days later, Big League Politics published a photo from Northam’s yearbook page that showed someone in blackface standing next to someone in Ku Klux Klan regalia.

According to an unconfirmed report, the conservative website got the photo from an EVMC classmate who was appalled by Northam’s stance on late term abortion.

Shortly after, CBS noted that one of nicknames for Northam on his VMI yearbook page was “Coonman.”

Leftist groups and leading Democrat politicians called for Northam’s resignation. Racism is, for Democrats, the cardinal sin – perhaps because their electoral success depends on holding 90 percent of the black vote.

And Gov. Mengele was calling too much attention to the leadership’s support for late term abortion, which an overwhelming majority of Americans oppose.

Democrats could “disappear” Northam without cost, because LtGov. Justin Fairfax, who would succeed him, is also a Democrat (and a former Planned Parenthood executive who is as pro-abortion as Northam). Their grip on power would be undiminished.

“I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo,” Northam said in a statement Feb. 1, but didn’t resign.

The next day Northam told Democrats he wasn’t in that yearbook picture and wouldn’t resign.

“If this is true, consider what it means given that he already acknowledged it and apologized,” said Margot Cleveland. “Northam posed in blackface or a KKK hood so often he just assumed it was him in the yearbook photo.”

“Northam admitted he was in the photo because he thought Dems might forgive him if he copped to it and was contrite,” said Allahpundit. “When he realized they wouldn’t, he moved to plan B, however insanely far-fetched.”

Knowing how loath journalists are to report on scandals involving Democrats, Northam figured that if he could hang on through the current news cycle, attention would fade and he’d survive.

Odds Northam’s gamble will succeed increased substantially Monday (2/4), when the Washington Post reported LtGov. Fairfax was accused of sexual assault.

The incident happened at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. The alleged victim approached the Post after Fairfax was elected in 2017, “saying she felt as though she had an obligation to speak out.”

The Post “carefully investigated the claim for several months,” but didn’t publish a story then because reporters could find no evidence to corroborate the woman’s charge.

The WaPo published a story Monday because the website Big League Politics scooped them the day before.

The Post story led with Fairfax’s claim the accusation by Vanessa Tyson, now a professor at Scripps University, was a “complete smear.”

Fairfax said the WaPo found “significant red flags and inconsistencies” in Ms. Tyson’s allegations. That’s not true, the Post said.

This is a classic “he said, she said” situation the Lying Swine typically ignore when the accused is a Democrat.

But Fairfax poured gasoline on the fire. He mischaracterized what the Post found. He attacked Ms. Tyson for a 2006 video in which she reveals she was a victim of incest. He called her “that bitch” in a meeting with prominent Democrats. Northam is behind the “smear” aimed at blocking his ascent to the governor’s mansion, he told a New York Times reporter.

This story is now too big to ignore, and is the Democrats’ worst nightmare, because it pits blacks against feminists.

If both Northam and Fairfax resign, Attorney General Mark Herring would become governor. He’s a Democrat, so Democrats would not lose power.

He’s worn blackface too, Herring admitted Wednesday. Herring had called for Northam’s resignation, so this was very awkward.

If Northam, Fairfax and Herring all resign, next in line is the Speaker of the state Assembly. He’s a Republican.

“National Dems who were quick to call for Mr. Northam’s resignation last weekend and have adopted a zero tolerance approach to transgressions on race and gender, were mostly silent after Mr. Herring’s disclosure and the extraordinary first person account from Mr. Fairfax’s accuser,” noted New York Times reporter Jonathan Martin.

Gee, I wonder why.

“If you only have principles when it is politically convenient, you don’t have principles,” Phil Kerpen noted.

Northam gambled Democrats are so morally bankrupt they’ll stick with him rather than lose power. He’ll almost certainly win.

But not before this Democrat dumpster fire gets more exposure. Ms. Tyson tells a compelling story, has hired the same law firm that represented Christine Blasey Ford, has a Go Fund Me page going great guns. Mr. Fairfax has hired the law firm that represented Judge Kavanaugh.

Déjà vu all over again. With this critical difference. Ms. Tyson is very specific about what happened, where, and when. Ms. Blasey Ford was vague about all three, and couldn’t identify her alleged attackers.

Ms. Tyson has no apparent reason to fabricate her charge against Mr. Fairfax. Blasey Ford had a motive to lie.

After having lavished so much attention on not merely baseless, but preposterous charges against Judge Kavanaugh, it’ll be hard for the Enemedia to ignore this story. When hypocrisy is really gross, people notice.

The easiest way to protect Democrats – always the foremost consideration of the Lying Swine – is to leave Northam in place. But that can’t happen unless Fairfax is thoroughly besmirched.

And feminists have more clout in Democrat circles of power than blacks. Only their votes matter to the leftist elite. Unless Fairfax and his allies get smarter — and have really sharp elbows – methinks his goose is cooked.

But that will take a while. Since nothing matters more to the Democrats involved than keeping power, I expect more dirty laundry to be aired as they turn on each other.

This is Black History Month, a good time for Republicans to remind people Democrat racism and enthusiasm for infanticide are related.

When she started “the Negro Project,” Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger said “we don’t want word to go out we want to exterminate the Negro population.”

If God really has had it with the party of Moloch, we could be watching something historic.  Like, say, a CNN headline declaring, The Complete and Utter Collapse of America’s Democratic Party.  That would be the most beautiful nightmare of all.
