HALF-FULL REPORT 10/20/17

russian-bribery-plotThe Hill newspaper broke Tuesday (10/17) what is, hands down, the worst political scandal in American history. So far, crickets from most of the rest of the MSM. But the frantic efforts of the Lying Swine to cover it up, and to distract attention from it, will fall apart soon.

After massive donations were made to the Clinton Foundation, then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton approved the sale of 20 percent of U.S. uranium reserves to Russia, Peter Schweizer of the Government Accountability Institute reported in 2015.

Now The Hill provides the sordid backstory:

Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.

Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that show Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practice Act, FBI and court documents show.

They also obtained an eyewitness account – backed by documents – indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow.”

Then Attorney General Eric Holder served with Hillary on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States that approved the Uranium One sale.

The Obama DOJ threatened to jail the FBI informant who blew the whistle on the Russian schemes if he told anyone in Congress about them, The Hill reported Wednesday (10/18).

The CFIUS had an advisory committee for the intelligence community, but then DNI James Clapper disbanded it just before the Uranium One deal was made.

“As he prepared to collect a $500,000 payday in Moscow, Bill Clinton sought clearance from the State Department to meet with a key board director of the Russian nuclear energy firm Rosatom – which at the time needed the Obama administration’s approval for a controversial uranium deal,” the Hill reported yesterday.

What most of the MSM “reported” instead of the Uranium One scandal was the claim by Rep. Frederika Wilson (D-Fla) President Trump was insensitive when he telephoned the widow of Army Sgt. LaDavid Johnson, killed in Niger Oct. 4, to express his condolences.

Wilson, who never expressed much concern for vets in the past, was lying. Thomas Wictor called her a rodeo clown. I think that’s spot on.

Gen. John Kelly, one of whose sons was killed in Afghanistan, let her have it yesterday (10/19). Watch the whole thing. If your eyes are dry when you finish, you have a heart of stone, feces for brains, vote Democrat.

The journolist political class will never forgive John Kelly for what he did to them today,” said Sean Davis. “It was an utter evisceration of willful lies.”

Here’s how another Gold Star wife and mother remembers the condolence call she received from President Trump.

The short-lived leftist meme that “Trump doesn’t support the troops” began the same day Raqqa, capital of the ISIS mini-state in Syria, was completely liberated. I doubt that was a coincidence.

Here’s CNN’s Peter Bergen trying to give Obama credit for the defeat of ISIS.

The Lying Swine will have to cover the Uranium One scandal eventually. President Trump tweeted up a storm about it Wednesday (10/18), then brought it up during a press availability that afternoon with Puerto Rico’s governor. Journalists fled from the press room like scalded dogs.

By criticizing the MSM for not covering the scandal, Trump is “undermining democratic institutions,” said “Morning Joe” Scarborough and his Dem pals.

North Korean generals reportedly love Scarborough’s show.

The Senate Judiciary Committee plans to hold hearings on Uranium One. Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) asked FBI Director Robert Wray to release the FBI informant from his non-disclosure agreement so he can testify.

I expect most in the MSM to ignore those hearings, too, or downplay them as “old news.” But more damning details will be put on the public record. And the Lying Swine will have to report it when indictments are handed down.

************

Rest assured, there will be indictments. The FBI and/or DOJ gave Hill reporters John Solomon and Alison Spann chapter and verse, showed them document after document, walked them carefully through the timeline. Their sources were not whistle blowers. These disclosures came from on high.

Those who were wondering what Attorney General Jeff Sessions has been doing for the last few months now have part of the answer.

The Russia collusion story shifted sharply away from the leftist narrative this week.

Officials of Fusion GPS took the Fifth Amendment Wednesday (10/18) rather than tell the House Intelligence Committee who paid them for the phony Steele dossier, which looks more and more like Russian disinformation.

President Trump tweeted about that, too. I bet he knows exactly who paid what, when. Soon, so shall we.

Given Trump’s tweets, we all ought to reread this.

After all these months, the only evidence of collusion with Russia is of Democrats colluding with Russia. It’s piling up.

New FBI information about corruption in a Clinton-approved uranium deal with Russia raises questions about Clinton’s actions after the FBI broke up a deep-cover Russian spy ring in 2010,” the Daily Caller reported today.

After the FBI arrested 10 of the spies in June, 2010, Secretary of State Clinton worked feverishly to return the Russian agents to Moscow in a hastily arranged, lopsided deal with Putin.”

Fusion GPS honchos think they could stonewall Congress with impunity. It could be a different story if and when a federal grand jury has questions.

I doubt anything frightens the Lying Swine more than the prospect that chapter and verse of how they were spoon fed Russian disinformation by Fusion GPS – and how eagerly they lapped it up — will become public knowledge. They’ll be exposed as lazy, gullible dupes, or as willing collaborators.

“Get your acts together, journalists,” said Mollie Hemingway. “You can’t push a Russia collusion narrative for a year and then go soft and silent because it turns out Russians paid a shady opposition research firm that just so happens to employ a bunch of your close friends.”

Mirabile dictu! The Senate passed its budget yesterday (10/19), paving the way for passage of tax reform. President Trump was pleased.

More women accused Harvey Weinstein and other Hollywood big shots of sexual misconduct this week.

The Los Angeles Times ran a long, unflattering profile of Lisa Bloom, the hypocritical harridan who poses as an advocate of women’s rights, but was planning to smear Weinstein’s victims.

Weinstein’s victims led him on, said a Democrat Congresswoman.

Weinstein isn’t taking rehab too seriously, hears Emily Smith of the New York Post. He hasn’t adjusted yet to his fall from Master of the Universe to pariah.

Enjoy this slideshow of Harvey and Hillary yukking it up together back in the good old days.

Bowe Bergdahl pled guilty  Monday (10/16) to deserting his post in Afghanistan. Six American soldiers were killed while searching for him.

Bergdahl “served with honor and distinction,” Obama National Security Adviser Susan Rice said after Zero traded five Taliban chieftains imprisoned in Gitmo to get the traitor back. Crickets from her about Bergdahl this week.

Bergdahl’s sentencing hearing will begin next Monday. He could get up to five years for desertion, up to life for “misbehavior before the enemy.”

Why yes, Director James Comey did indeed draft a statement exonerating Hillary Clinton months before the investigation into her sending classified information on an insecure private server was completed, the FBI has confirmed.

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt put an end this week to an Obama administration scam to enrich leftist environmental groups.

Colin Kaepernick has filed a grievance with the NFLPA accusing the NFL of “collusion” because no team has hired him to play quarterback. The documents he filed with players union are hilarious:

“Mr. Kaepernick continued to perform as a top tier quarterback while playing with the 49ers.”
“Based on his consistently exceptional career performance…Mr. Kaepernick was an ideal candidate…to fill the vacant starting quarterback positions on many NFL teams…”

In point of fact, Kaepernick ranked 32nd in pass completion percentage during the last two seasons he played, 31st in total QBR. (There are 32 teams in the league.)

It’s all Trump’s fault, Kaepernick said. No, says Britt McHenry, it’s all Kaepernick’s fault.

The news of Kaepernick’s filing broke Sunday (10/15) – the same day Green Bay Packer Quarterback Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone. If Kaepernick hadn’t made himself toxic, Green Bay might have come calling. Coach Mike McCarthy didn’t quite say it would be a cold day in Hell before the Packers did, but came close.

Kaepernick has zero chance of winning his grievance, says sports journalist Clay Travis.

Players should stand for the national anthem, but the NFL won’t punish them if they don’t, Commissioner Charles Goodell says now. He and Seattle wide receiver Doug Baldwin sent a letter to Congress urging criminal justice reform. Evidently some of the bruthas don’t think they should be sent to jail just because they tune up their hos from time to time.

Yeah, that’ll turn around the most epic blunder in the history of marketing.

Ratings for Monday Night Football were the lowest of the year. Ratings for Thursday Night Football last night were down 7 percent.

We got a glimpse this week of the elephant in the room. The Lying Swine tried to sweep it under the rug, but the lumps are too visible.

From this point forward, all the news, for leftists, will be bad. The efforts of the Lying Swine to divert our attention from it will be ever more frantic, and comic. Imagine trying to make us believe the cartoonish Frederika Wilson (I’m a rock star now) is a “victim.”

I don’t expect the dam leftists erected to hold back the truth to fail before mid-November. But over the next few weeks, what are now trickles of information will become rivulets, then gushers. Now is a good time to stock up on popcorn.

The hero of the week is Gen. Kelly. His quiet dignity should put leftists to shame, if they were capable of feeling shame.

Jack Wheeler will be back at his post next week. Have a great weekend.

Jack Kelly is a former Marine and Green Beret, and was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force during the Reagan Administration.  Until his retirement in January 2017, he was the national security writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
