HALF-FULL REPORT 02/10/17

swearing-in-jeff-sessionsKrytocracy.  Remember the word.

If you Google it, the very first hit at the top of the page is this article from April 2005:  America Now Functioning As ‘Krytocracy’.

The second hit is: KRYTOCRACY: A Government of Judges, Rule by the Arbitrary Feelings of Unelected Judges.

You’ll note that both are about an article in TTP I had written a few days earlier.

So here we are, 12 years later, with headlines this week declaring the consequences of the blatantly unconstitutional krytocratic tyranny we continue to suffer from today.

The silver lining – we finally have a president willing and able to fight krytocratic tyranny.  This will end up going far beyond taking the outrageously dishonest 9th Circuit opinion to SCOTUS.  It will be a war to assert the Executive and Legislative branches’ Constitutional independence from the Judicial in our federal government.  For the Judicial to deny such independence and rule over the other two is the very definition of Krytocracy.

One clear avenue to pursue is Article III.  Section 1 states:  “The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.”

E.g., the 9th Circuit could be either abolished or broken into separate courts by Congress – and Congress alone, a simple majority vote in both House & Senate, no presidential approval necessary or veto possible (although Trump no doubt would approve).

Ultimately, however, the goal must be the reinterpretation of Marbury v Madison of 1803.  Here is an insightful analysis of how to do so: The Myth of Marbury v Madison.  One key point:

“Correctly read, Marbury stands for constitutional supremacy rather than judicial supremacy.  And constitutional supremacy implies strict textualism as a controlling method of constitutional interpretation, not free-wheeling judicial discretion.”

Judges must no longer be permitted to invent laws.  The War on Krytocracy has at last begun.

There is plenty of good news to report this week, so let’s get a trio of not-good reports out of the way first.

It’s always unwise to make a promise you cannot keep.  Trump did that in his Inaugural Address by promising “I will never, ever, let you down.”  Sadly, he did that three times this week.

Let Down #1 came with the President’s disgraceful Super Bowl Sunday (02/05) interview with Fox’s Bob O’Reilly, embracing Blame America First Leftism declaring:  “You think our country is so innocent?  We have a lot of killers” just like Putin’s Russia.

Then just as disheartening is Vice-President Pence not only defending his boss (okay, it’s his job), but repeatedly refusing to state that America is morally superior to Russia.

As you may well know, there was an eruption of conservatives disgusted at this.  I was reminded of all the times I spoke at Ivy League campuses in the 80s on “The Coming Collapse of the Soviet Union.”  It was about the USSR, not the US – but invariably, lefty students would complain: “How can you criticize the Soviet Union when we’re just as bad?”

Now here is our hero president doing the same thing!  So much for his putting America First.

Let Down #2 came on the same interview with O’Reilly, by Trump claiming that Obamacare Repeal would not happen until 2018.

Among vast throngs of others, Charles Krauthammer lost his temper at this: Not Repealing Obamacare ‘Would Be the Ultimate Betrayal of the Electorate’.  Charles is right.

As IBD – the best editorial page in the country – says: Delaying ObamaCare Repeal Is Not An Option.

Let Down #3 came on Wednesday (02/08) in the Roosevelt Room (right across the hall from the Oval Office) in the White House: Prominent Republicans Pitch Carbon-Tax Plan to Top Trump Aides.

Actually, “prominent” needs to have “formerly” preceding it in the headline, as they are the Pub Over-the-Hill Gang, like Hank Paulsen, responsible for the 2008 meltdown of the economy, and Jim Baker, Chief Squish at the Reagan White House.

A “carbon tax” is the most ludicrously stupid crony-capitalist nonsense you can imagine, yet these obsolete clowns are pushing it in the Trump White House.  Here’s the worry:  while Trump has publicly ridiculed Warmism as a “hoax” and didn’t attend the meeting, the event was organized and led by Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner.

Ivanka and Jared are Warmist moles in the Trump White House.  They have Trump’s ear more than anyone else.  They are not conservatives and are not our friends.  Let’s hope Trump obliged them, letting them having their splashy meeting, and keeps to what he knows to be true about Warmism.  Cross your fingers.  After all, he Tweeted this last May:

carbon-tax-tweet-from-trumpAnd cross your fingers with the other two let-downs – let’s give him the benefit of doubt that he’s engaging in what he’s a world master at:  misdirection.

Meanwhile, lets trust that in Trump’s next talk with Gollum in the Kremlin, he’ll say he’s looking forward to their meeting in person – and that he’ll have Bob Kraft with him to whom Putin can give back the Super Bowl ring he stole.

Speaking of the Super Bowl… there’s just no competition, SB51 was the greatest ever hands down.  Brady and Belichik are the greatest ever.  The famously expensive Super Bowls ads, by contrast, were the worst ever.  Impossibly brain-dead – anti-Trump commercials for football fans?  What were these corporate board-roomers thinking?

I’ll never drink another Bud again – neither will a lot of others.

Meanwhile, here’s the belly laugh of the week: Liberals in Despair over Patriots Win.  How nice.

Oh… and the best SP51 ad?  Is there any doubt?

************

The most fun of the week was on Capitol Hill.  Here’s one reason:

Attorney General Eric Holder: Justice on Hold.  Attorney General Loretta Lynch: Lynching Justice.  Attorney General Jeff Sessions:  Justice is back in Session.

On Wednesday (02/08), Mitch McConnell had to pull Fauxcahontas Warren’s microphone and shut her up libeling her fellow Senator Jeff Sessions on the Senate floor.  Sessions was then confirmed, 52-47, with one Dem voting Yes:  Joe Manchin.  More about him later.

The day before, Tuesday (02/07), Fauxcahontas bitterly attacked Betsy DeVos: “The Republicans have made it clear no matter her experience, no matter her radical views … they will ram this nomination down the throats of the American people sideways.”

No, Liz, the Pubs – except for two paid off by the Teachers Unions (Collins & Murkowski) – rammed it down your throat sideways 51-50 with Pence as the tie-breaker.

Last night through the wee hours this morning, the Dems spazzed out again against Tom Price for HHS, and again to no avail – Dr. Price was confirmed 52-47.

The result of all this 24/7 Dem obstructionism?  The IBD summarized it this morning:  Democrats Are Losing Their War with Trump.

“Leaders in the Democratic Party probably should have thought twice before deciding to mount a scorched-earth campaign against President Trump. So far, they’ve failed to stop any of Trump’s picks, or gain public support for their cause. They have, however, succeeded in making themselves look unhinged.”

One exception among them, however, is Joe Manchin of West Virginia.  Trump is wooing him, with good reason.  He’s conservative in many ways, and a lonely Dem in his state.  The WV state senate is 11-6 R, WV state house 60-36 R, all 3 Congressfolk are R, as is WV colleague in the Senate, Shelley Moore Capito.  Trump won 68% of the vote in November.

The only other Dem in the state isn’t one, just an opportunist billionaire who bought the governorship after switching from Pub to Dem: Jim Justice.

Manchin is up in 2018.  Odds are very high he’ll switch across the aisle and soon.  Could others?

In 2018, 25 Dem Senators will be up and only 9 Pubs.  In addition to Manchin, 4 others are in Deep Red states, landslide voting for Trump:  Joe Donnelly-IN, Heidi Heitkamp-ND, Claire McCaskill-MO, and Jon Tester-MT.  All are highly vulnerable.

Pretty easy for Trump to tell them, your choice: you can switch to us or we’ll crushingly defeat you in 2018.  Problem is – they’re Dems.  Solid Blue.  Except for Heitkamp, she’s only Pale Blue.  She’s the only one who might switch and be accepted.

So the odds are Manchin and possibly Heitkamp will switch, and the Pubs will take away at least 6 to 8 more seats from the Dems in November 2018, giving them a 60 or 62 seat majority.  Enough to overcome the Filibuster, but McConnell just might do away with that entirely.

No wonder the WaPo’s Chris Cillizza says:  The 2018 Senate map just keeps getting better for Republicans.

Over on the South side of Capitol Hill, the House is having fun too.  One of the best good guys in the House is Tom Massie (R-KY).  Tom’s an interesting guy.

After getting a degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in mechanical engineering both at MIT, he and his wife launched a hi-tech 3D modeling software company with 24 patents.  He cashed out 16 years later, he and Rhonda moved back to their hometown of Vanceburg, Kentucky to raise his family on a farm in an off-the-grid timberframe home.

Elected to Congress in 2012, he’s in his third term.  And on Tuesday (02/07), he introduced a bill to – get ready, you are going jump up and down love this – eliminate the whole FedEd Department.  It’s HR899 — To terminate the Department of Education.  The Bill Text has only one single line:

“The Department of Education shall terminate on December 31, 2018.”

That’s it – that’s the whole entire bill!  Is this guy great or what?  But wait, there’s more!

Today (02/10), he and colleague Mike Gaetz (R-FL) introduced H.R.861 – To terminate the Environmental Protection Agency.  It’s so new the Bill Text hasn’t been published yet.

He’s getting co-sponsors, but says he needs your help to contact your Representative, asking they be a co-sponsor of 861 and 899.  Tom Massie is leading the charge to Drain the Swamp.  Which is why Congressman Massie is HFR Hero of the Week.

We close with this observation.  We’re just getting started.  There’s chaos and disarray throughout every agency of the Trump Administration because Obama holdovers are sabotaging everything they can, and Democrats are delaying and obstructing anyway they can.

An example:  Trump and his Transition Team people who are working round the clock to help communicate with each other by courier.  No emails or phone calls. Private trusted courier – because that the only way they can depend on with things being leaked.

But they are working their way through this.  They are optimistic and energized, their opponents are depressed and demoralized.  People are getting confirmed and staffs put into place, the Obamunists will be weeded out.

Last night, during yet another ridiculous obfuscation by Senate Dems, Orrin Hatch wondered aloud how Democrats “kept their outrage settings turned to 11 without getting completely exhausted.”

The answer is, they can’t for much longer.  They are going to run out of outrage gas, while Trump, his people, and us are rolling.  There will be bumps in the road, like we saw this week, but we are moving down the highway towards a better, freer, more prosperous America, with the Dems, the Fascist Left, and the Enemedia receding in the rear-view mirror.

We will make America greater than ever, and they will not get in our way.
