HALF-FULL REPORT 01/20/17

Finally the day has come.  Deliverance Day, the end of the Nightmare of Zero.  A new dawn for America with more freedom, more prosperity, and more moral normalcy of traditional values.

It is a day to celebrate with joy and exuberance.  Yet it is far deeper than that.  You may be like me, experiencing emotions hard to describe or contain.

Watching Trump speak at the Lincoln Memorial last night, seeing him and his family in front of the giant statue of Lincoln as a chorus of Marines sang the Battle Hymn of the Republic while fireworks exploded over the Reflecting Pool of the Mall – frankly, it made me cry and shiver with goosebumps.

What is happening before our eyes is a true historical moment.  The throngs of people massed at the Inauguration Eve celebration last night knew it.  They were hugely happy – calling out “We love you!” to Trump – and at the same time there was a solemnity to their happiness.

What they were feeling was far more than what revelers at, say, Times Square feel celebrating the Ball Drop on New Years Eve.  They knew they were witnessing and participating in the rebirth, indeed possibly the salvation, of their country.  They were experiencing an overwhelming sense of awesomeness that was palpable among them  It certainly was what I felt.

As this day unfolds, it may be as hard for you to contain these feelings as it is for me.  Savor the moment of this extraordinary day, January 20, 2017.  It is a day you will never forget.

The observation to make about the rioters and protestors doing their best to ruin today is the First Rule of Holes.  When you’re digging yourself into a hole, stop digging.

The entire Moonbat Fascist Universe of anarcho-communist losers, college crybully snowflakes, has-been celebrities, Feminazis, Marxist academics, Fake News Media, and the Democrat Party seem incapable at this point to learn this simple lesson.

As this is being written, it is Friday morning with the Inauguration an hour away. As you can see, the entire ceremony – one of the great demonstrations of true democracy in history, the peaceful and graceful transfer of power of one ruling party to another by mankind’s most powerful nation – is proceeding as if the protestors didn’t exist.

And in a very real sense, they don’t.  They are totally irrelevant.  We are minutes away from Donald Trump becoming the 45^th President of the United States and there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.

Yet they will keep digging, the hole they are all in will get deeper.  I am watching right now a live feed of black masked rioters smashing store front windows in downtown DC a few blocks away, and getting pepper sprayed by police.  All they are accomplishing is to gain the utter contempt of the vast, vast majority of Americans.  Nothing more.

That’s serious swamp-draining – our kind of revolution.

It is now 1pm.  Former President Obama and Former First Lady Michelle have been walked to the Marine helicopter by President Trump and First Lady Melania, they said their goodbyes and flew away.  They are now private citizens, part of the past.  The Era of Trump has begun.

Melania looked unbelievably stunning.  She will now rapidly become the most glamorous and idolized woman on earth.

Here is the moment of history and President Trump’s inaugural address:

There will now be a luncheon in the Capitol Building Rotunda and the Inaugural Parade down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House.  This evening will be the Inaugural Dinners and Balls.  It’s going to be a long night.

But the days from now on will pass quickly in a blur.  The world will be different from this day on.  Not just America but the world.  A strong, confident, prosperous America will do that.

Not every day will be wonderful, far from it.  But the opportunities and possibilities now in front of us are glorious.  This is a truly astounding day.  It launches us all on a great adventure.  Providence is smiling upon America today.  We all need to smile back.
