Welcome to the New Year’s Eve HFR!  2021 is OVER, good night, good bye, may we never see its like ever again – 2022 here we come!

It’s time for predictions and resolutions.  What might 2022 have in store for us?  What should we resolutely commit ourselves to?

Now, you know what Yogi Berra said:  “It’s tough to make predictions, especially about the future.”  Actually, it’s easy to do with nature – it’s with people that’s tricky.

For example, I can with 100% confidence predict what will happen in America on Election Day, November 8, 2022. Guaranteed, win any bar bet on it.  Ready?  That in the wee hours well before dawn across the US from Florida to Alaska there will be an eclipse of the Moon.  But what American voters will do that day is seriously undetermined.

So instead of predictions, we’re going to engage in “don’t be surprised if…” speculation.  Not that any of this will happen but that it may, so now you won’t be slapping your forehead in shock if it does. Here we go.

Ereyesterday (12/29), this was the lead headline on Fox:

It’s hard to imagine how China Zhou can occupy the Oval Office for much longer.  He’s hoping what will keep him there is that his controllers know Harris will be worse, less popular than him.

But what do we have here?  Earlier this month (12/08) on NBC’s Today Show, Hillary Clinton publicly and tearily read for the first time her 2016 acceptance speech that she would have given except for getting her clock cleaned by El Donaldo.  Everybody either laughed or was nauseated.  As Greg Jarrett told Hannity that evening:

“It was pathetic and embarrassing. And actually nauseating. I kept thinking – what kind of a person does this?  Well, a person who yearns for relevance, an embittered person who refuses to accept personal responsibility for her own failure…She wrote an entire book blaming everybody else but herself. People like this can’t stand defeat, criticism. She seems like a classic case of narcissistic personality disorder, this overwrought sense of entitlement, an exaggerated sense of self-importance, and no sense of self-awareness, but on top of it, as you point out, Sean, scandal and malfeasance followed her everywhere she goes.”

Sums it up.  Except… two weeks later (12/23), the NY Times reports: Kamala Harris Turns to Hillary Clinton for Advice on Winning Public Favor.  What’s that smell like to you?  Kamala is dumb as a rock, Hillary wants a comeback, so the “advice” might well have been:

“Kamala, dear, we both know Joe has to be put out to pasture soon.  Bill and I can put all our many media contacts in service to refurbish you in the public eye so you’ll be ready for the Resolute Desk.  The first thing that you’ll need to do then is choose who will be your choice for VP – a choice that will electrify and unite the Democrat Party with the entire media behind you.  Who would that be?  You’re looking at her right now.  Think of it – the President and Vice-President of the United States, both women!  We can’t lose!”

Kamala is too dumb to realize this would be signing her death warrant, if not like Vince Foster then politically with a steady drip of scandals forcing her to resign so when it’s time for a 2024 rematch with Trump, Hillary will enter the ring as the President herself.  As for age?  Hillary is over a year younger than Donald.  Don’t be surprised if……

Hillary’s dream could likely be sabotaged by John Durham, such as It’s Official: Durham Is Investigating The Clinton Campaign and Hillary, Beware: Clinton Foundation Whistleblowers Reportedly Interviewed by Special Counsel Durham for criminally inventing the Trump-Russia Collusion Hoax.

She and Bill are pushing AG Garland to fire Durham and defund his probe, so watch what he does.

Nonetheless, once POTUS gets wind of her scheme, it should spur him to go for Speaker.  Lindsey Graham may say “2024 is President Trump’s election to lose,” but that’s no way to think.  Trump cannot afford such hubris, nor can he depend on nostalgia for what he did as 45. He has to be pro-active, in the game, showing very demonstrably what he can and will do to fix the Biden-Harris Calamity.

No better way, no better place to do that than as Speaker of the House, stymying the Dems’ anti-America agenda at every move.

So the 2022-23 Main Event could be the drama between Speaker Donald and VP Hillary.  She’s already swiping at the AOC Squad and criticizing the Biden White House for not being “sane” (like she – and Kamala? – is or are).  See yesterday’s (12/30) NY Post: Hillary Clinton Warns Democrats Against Far-Left Turn Before 2022 Midterms:

“I think that it is a time for some careful thinking about what wins elections, and not just in deep-blue districts where a Democrat and a liberal Democrat, or so-called progressive Democrat, is going to win. I understand why people want to argue for their priorities. That’s what they believe they were elected to do.

 

But at the end of the day, it means nothing if we don’t have a Congress that will get things done, and we don’t have a White House that we can count on to be sane and sober and stable and productive.” 

She’s swinging for the fences in ’22.  Soon it will Trump’s turn at bat.

We’re ending 2021 as the second year of a fear porn “pandemic” over a flu bug.  There won’t be a third year of this.  The media and Fauci’s Fascisti are doing everything to keep the panic going but it’s dying out because people aren’t thanks to Omicron.  No deaths, no fear porn.

Meanwhile, Bidenflation will get worse and be the main economic story of ’22.  Because all the Dems know what to do is to double down on the problems they’ve caused, not solve them by, say, opening up the Keystone Pipeline and closing off the Mexican border to illegals, ending their war on fossil fuels and getting people back to work (no more stimmie checks for not working!).

Instead, they will search for another huge distraction from Bidenflation and other Dem-caused woes.  How about, say, the CIA creating a false flag cyberwar that shuts down banking credit cards all over the US so people can’t buy groceries or gas at the pump, blaming it on the Russians?  Wagging the Cyberdog.

Don’t be surprised if… The Dems know they are going to wipeout if they don’t do something to create a major crisis or even crises-plural.  Like this:

Trouble is, the only cure for ruinous double-digit inflation is double-digit interest rates, the way Paul Volker did it under Reagan in the early 80s.  How’s that possible with $28 Trillion in federal debt service?  Debt service at double-digit interest would eat up  practically the entire fed budget.

Okay, you could do it the German way, how they ended their hyperinflation by collateralizing the Mark with state assets like land – and the US owns many millions of acres of land, plus all the resources (oil & gas) offshore along our Continental Shelf.  Dems can’t go there ‘cause that means kissing “climate change” goodbye.

They really are stuck with no real solutions without abandoning their entire Marxist-Fascist Anti-Capitalist ideology.  Sorry.  No wonder Russia has sold all its US Treasuries, while China is selling theirs.

Another don’t-be-surprised-if is the collapse and utter rejection of the Woke Cultural Narrative.  Take the whole tranny-worship thing.  It will suffer a career-ending injury thanks in large part to a guy named Will Thomas pretending he’s a woman named Lia who’s destroying women’s swimming.

SCOTUS is going to decimate Roe v Wade, turning abortion law back to the states.  Police are getting re-funded not de-funded.  Blue big city mayors from SanFran to NYC are going law-and-order not smash-and-grab.  There will be massive support for Senator Tom Cotton who demands: War on Crime Must Begin with Recalling, Removing ‘Every Last Soros’ District Attorney.  Parents across America will win their war against Critical Anti-White Racism Theory child abuse.

Nancy Pelosi Buys Millions In Call Options In Google, Micron, Roblox, Salesforce And Disney.  Any member of Congress of either party can do the same, and many do. Watch for intolerance for this to increase sharply.

So there is much we may be celebrating in ’22 – yet it may be a year of serious travail as well.

Warren Buffett is fond of saying that if something can’t go on forever, it won’t – and that certainly applies to shoot-for-the-moon stock prices.  We all know P/E ratios for many key stocks are in the asteroid belt, but another metric Buffett pays close attention to is Market Cap to GDP for any country – it’s actually called The Buffett Indicator: the total value of all publicly-traded stocks in a country, divided by that country’s Gross Domestic Product.

The historical average is about 75%.  As of December 22 for the US stock market, the Buffett Indicator is 215%, 2.2 standard deviations above the historical average.

The Warren Buffett of over the first half of the 20^th century was Bernard Baruch (1870-1965).  When a reporter asked him what was his investing secret, he replied, “Selling too soon.” Wise advice, especially today.

Something else to prepare for is something to eat.  Both Skye and his wife, and Rebel and I are storing food.  Not the expensive prepper stuff, but regular canned food that we can rotate through and replace.  Food prices are going to continue to rocket up so plan for it.

It’s worth noting that, as of Tuesday (12/28): China Panic-Hoards Half Of World’s Grain Supply Amid Threats Of Collapse.

Data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows China has approximately 69% of the globe’s corn (maize) reserves in the first half of the crop year 2022, 60% of its rice, and 51% of its wheat.

China suffered massive floods this year wiping out many harvests, while climate change lunacy is causing a worldwide lethal shortage of fertilizer as natural gas (a “fossil fuel”) is required for making it – and China has no good natgas reserves.  So it’s preparing for the worst – that being starving peasants ridding themselves of the Chicoms ruling them.

So you want to prepare yourself and family for possible food shortages and cost explosion until America rids itself of the ruling elite that hates it.

Can’t resist another “don’t… if”. This came in on Fox late this afternoon (12/31): Pelosi Sees Her Power Slip In Chaotic 2021, With Democratic Retirements, Infighting.  She turns 82 in March and her dementia gets worse by the day.  The odds are growing steeply that she’ll call it quits this spring – retire on the spot or before November.  Every day now she’ll ask herself, “What’s the point of hanging on?”  The answer is, there isn’t any.

2022 will be a year of promise more than peril – but peril there will be.  Let us resolve to personally triumph over the peril and contribute what effort we can to turn the promise into reality.

We close with this news report yesterday (12/30): 35,000 Migrants Landed on One Italian Island in 2021: Five Times the Size of its Normal Population.

The island is Lampedusa, between Italy’s Sicily and North Africa’s Libya and Tunisia:

I may be the only person you know who’s been to Lampedusa. I spent a week there in 2017, witnessing the contrast between the barbed wire internment camps for the invading “migrants” and the beautiful beaches who just want to vacation in peace.

America is under a similar invasion – by the invading hundreds of thousands, not tens of thousands, by a government not that just doesn’t have the courage to stop the invasion but is actively encouraging it with the express purpose of damaging America as much as possible.

I believe the promise of 2022 is that Americans as a whole will put an end to this masochism.  We have had enough. We want the madness of 2021 to be over.  2022 will be at the very least the start of it being over, of being on the road to being normal once again.
