DID THE ZHOU XIDEN REGIME JUST THROW IN THE TOWEL?

“No federal solution.” Does that sound like — “don’t expect the SCOTUS to approve federal mandates/work arounds” — to you, too? Exactly what incentive does the SCOTUS have to take on the responsibility for mandates now?

And:

Does “solved at the state level” sound like, ‘You’re on your own,’ to you? Sure does to me.

Apparently, Zhou’s keepers have realized that the insoluble problems generated by injection mandates—such as staffing shortages in critical sectors of the economy, like health care—are coming home to roost, and they’re trying to redirect those chickens to Blue State state capitols. Good luck with that.

On the one hand, it’s true that Blue State governors will increasingly own the problems they’ve generated, but without any backing from the Zhou regime. On the other hand, no way will Zhou and his regime escape blame.

Next question: Where does this leave Tiny Tony and the rest of the federal health care establishment? I don’t think they’re gonna find gaslighting all of the people all of the time any more rewarding now than they have so far. The fact is, people are catching on.

The likelihood is that most of the players will be spending increasing amounts of time looking for a fall guy. In addition to the usual suspects who’ve been hogging our TV screens, Big Pharma with their obscene profits would seem to be a worthwhile target.

Also, will the MSM now feel empowered to start asking tough questions? This could get dicey.

In an entertaining substack, El Gato Malo is thinking very much along these lines, looking into a future that he doesn’t think is too far away. Here’s his – and my – bottom line.

The Democrat tribe is in the throes of tearing itself apart both internally and externally.  The simple fact is, they already lost. It’s over.

Half the country said no to bio-tyranny, more of the center are joining them every day, the “vaccines will save us” narrative is in tatters, and omicron is mild for the vaxxed and unvaxxed alike. The facts are too plain and the comparisons too stark. The attempts at suppression have become too blatant:

And this is breaking brains. The surpassing vitriol and mean-girl savagery is the defense mechanism of a worldview eating itself. It’s going to be nasty and brutish. Mercifully, it’s also going to be short.

The Dems are locked into a strategy that must either win completely and cow everyone or will wind up alienating the whole right-thinking middle. Thus it cannot win, too many have already stood up, so it’s all self-defeating now.

This is the last barrage of cruel tantrum and pitiless derangement of reason before it all falls apart. It’s all out in the open now, and America does not want a new and enduring regime of institutional prejudice in the form of “Jim Covid” laws.

The Dems and Woke Left are freaking out because they can feel the end coming and the reckoning after such excess is unkind.  They are stuck in a loop of tribal self-immolation.  Like the lady in the photo above.

And this is where we win. This is the time to push, time to resist, time to disobey.

This is the time to peacefully but implacably say “No” and to take down the incipient authoritarians who so badly over-reached and who so direly misjudged us and our tolerance for them.  Now that the Xidenistas have thrown in the towel, now is the time to reclaim our country – for this country is ours, not theirs and it is damn well time we made that unmistakably clear.
