ready-to-pounce

You’ve never had a more restful night’s sleep, being serenaded into dreamland by the soft grunting of a family of hippos in the lily-strewn pond beneath your luxury chalet.

You awake at dawn to the coughing of a pride of lions in the near distance.  Time to go on safari to track that pride while they’re on the hunt.

Your native tracker finds them quickly.  The pride pays no attention to you as you follow them.

Their attention is totally on acquiring their breakfast.

Although ever so often, one glances at you, wondering, “Could you be breakfast?”

Nah, gazelles and wildebeest are so much tastier.  There’s a big herd of wildebeest ahead but the calves are too well protected.

There’s a scrumptious baby zebra nearby, but mommy’s barking and snorting has alerted the rest of her herd.

Hey, look!  Bushbucks!  And they’re headed right into that gully, a natural trap just made for us!

The lead male eyes the target and readies himself to pounce.

And breakfast is served – in the gully where it’s not smart to disturb them while dining.

Now the question is – are you ready to pounce on a opportunity to witness this yourself?  To join me on the Africa Dream Safari that everyone dreams of experiencing once in their lives?

We’re just about full.  Everyone’s a TTPer, you’ll be with friends.  We have room for just one more couple.  But the deadline is now – now means now, you have until this Sunday, March 8, to decide and let me know.

You know, it’s a curious thing about being on a real safari in primordial Africa.  There’s something profoundly calming about it – so much so that it’s deeply satisfying to open up and feel free, so free, to sit around a campfire with a gin and tonic and talk to your new-found friends about anything you want.

That’s what real Africa does to you.  It’s an adventure – as all true adventures are – that cannot be described, it has to be personally experienced to understand.

So let me know – at [email protected] – if you want that experience to be a part of your life.  Carpe diem.  Life is short.  Let me know by Sunday. Then I can give you a call and we can talk about it.

Then soon you’ll be with me and your fellow TTPers to experience a beauty, a calm, a primordial nature that only Africa has.
