HALF-FULL REPORT 01/17/20

I just got back home after being on a boat with no internet for almost the last two weeks.  A small group of TTPers were with me and Rebel, and the last island we visited is the nicest in the Caribbean, Antigua[1].

As we were onshore for breakfast, a couple sat down at a nearby table.  I instantly walked over to them as the man was wearing a bright red MAGA hat.  “I love your hat!” I announced to him with a big smile.  They both beamed and introduced themselves, Bob and Sharon from Pittsburgh.

“I wear my MAGA hat everywhere,” Bob said, “all over the US and wherever we travel like West Africa, Europe, South America, here in the Caribbean.  People are always coming up to me just like you to tell me my hat is cool – even in Seattle!  Only a handful – literally a handful – have expressed anger.  It’s Fake News that Trump is unpopular – I directly experience that every day.”

This week, the DOW reached its umpteenth best week ever under the Trump Presidency.  The mirror image is this week the Dems having their umpteenth worst week ever under the Pelosi Speakership.

Three years ago at the end of the Zero Presidency (1/19/17), the DOW stood at 19,745.  Yesterday (1/16), the DOW closed at 29,340, a record high.  That’s a 50% gain of 10,000 under President Trump, 5,000 points in just the last year to date (24,065 on 1/17/19).

Meanwhile, unemployment is at a record 50-year low, while paychecks are fatter for everyone, Blacks, Women, Hispanics, Asians and Whites.  Oh, and inflation is so low that US 10-Years are at 1.88%.

This, by the way, is no accident, Comrades.  As Mick Mulvaney, WH Chief of Staff and Budget Director explained to author Doug Wead, inflation is too much money chasing too few goods – the solution to which is increasing productivity by massive deregulation of the economy plus cutting taxes.  More jobs, more money in workers’ pockets, more America-made goods to buy.  Voilà!  Trump’s Magic Wand that Zero said he’d never have.

And that every single one of the Dem candidates say they’ll take away.  Which is why, among other reasons, while POTUS is filling entire stadiums with massive rallies – such as in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Tuesday (1/14):

…the Dems’ poll-leading candidate, Quid Pro Joe Biden, can’t fill a living room in Iowa.  As Iowa’s Union Journal asks, “Is This a Funeral or a Rally?”

Which brings us to the scintillating Forum discussion on Biological Leninism this week.  Half of the bio-leninist argument is: “Humans care deeply about status. Status is what drives human behavior. Everybody works to achieve more status, and to avoid losing status.”

Yes, but status among peers.  The old adage, “Only Kings envy Kings,” (or today, only billionaires envy billionaires) applies.  The other half is: “Socialism of course sells egalitarianism. It tells people with low status that they can get some more.”

That’s status for losers.  Most normal people want to earn their status among their peers by actually working for it, not by getting government handouts.

This is the great gap today between Sanders-Warren Democrats who want unearned status because they feel too impotent and incompetent to earn it, and Trump Republicans who want earned status because they feel they can achieve it.

And this is the true great hope for America – because there are more of the latter than the former among American citizens who can legally vote.

Thus, all that’s necessary for freedom and opportunity to triumph over tyranny and handouts is to make sure only American citizens of voting age can vote this November.

The HFR has discussed many times how this can be achieved via The Real ID Act.  It’s the whole ball game of 2020: designating an “official purpose” of The Real ID Act – Public Law 109-13 Title II Section 201 (3) – to be able to vote in a federal election, as discussed in the HFR of 12/20/19.

This will be a running discussion in the HFR in the months to come.

Okay, get a handkerchief, you’re going to cry. On Monday (1/13), the National College Football Championship took place between LSU and Clemson at a packed to the rafters Superdome in New Orleans.  LSU’s Heisman Trophy winner Joe Burrow gave an astounding performance throwing five touchdown passes (and running for a sixth) in a LSU victory of 42-25.

Yet the most thrilling moment came before kickoff with President Trump and First Lady Melania walking on to the field for the National Anthem.  The massive crowd’s cheering applause was so thunderous it sounded like a Space Shuttle launch, interspersed with deafening chants of USA! USA! USA! and Four More Years! Four More Years!

To think that any Democrat could come within a light year of this is grotesque.

The LSU team and coaches are a class act.  They couldn’t have been more proud welcomed by the President to the White House and Oval Office today (1/17).  Quarterback Burrow presented POTUS with a Number 45 LSU Tigers jersey.  So let’s take a break and watch the highlights of LSU’s championship victory:

Capping a momentous week for our President, the Phase One China-US Trade Agreement was signed in the White House on Wednesday (1/15), committing China to purchase hundreds of billions more in US exports.  A major major win for POTUS and America.

That was followed by a second big Trump win on Thursday (1/16), with the Senate voting 89-10 to pass the USMCA trade agreement replacing NAFTA.  The only fly in this ointment is the failure to remove Section 230, which “gives companies like Facebook, Google and Twitter immunity from liability for user content posted on their platforms.”  Guess we’ll have to figure out another way to terminate their fanatical anti-conservative bias.

Schadenfreudelicious Time.  POTUS tweeted today (1/17)

Actually, Bernie’s troubles are a lot worse than that.  This week (1/14 & 1/15), James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas released two undercover videos of a fascist coprolaliac (he is unable to say anything without the F-word) named Kyle Jurek, a paid staffer for Bernie.

Jurek calls himself an “anarcho-communist” who says he along with many Bernie staffers want to send Trump supporters to Soviet Gulag extermination camps.  You’ve got to watch the vids to grasp just how Nazi-evil this guy is.  As of now (1/17), neither Bernie nor his campaign have denounced Jurek.

Bernie is not some kooky old guy spouting lefty drivel.  He is a Stalinist.  Here’s what should be his campaign slogan:

And Bernie along with all the Dems led by their Maestro Pelosi gave the most glaring demonstration this week of how they hate America by siding with Iran’s terror-masters instead of those protesting against them.

Iranians are especially incensed by Pelosi.  Here’s what some of them say via POTUS retweets:

All this as the Senate Impeachment Trial begins.  All we know now is that Chief Justice Roberts will preside, Pelosi has delivered the Articles, she has appointed seven prosecutors, POTUS has an all-star defense team including Alan Dershowitz, Ken Starr, Pat Cipillone and Jay Sekulow.

The actual trial starts Tuesday (1/21), with prosecution and defense making opening statements and announcing whom they intend to subpoena as witnesses.  What we’re all hoping for is the Trump team to list Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, Eric “Whistleblower” Ciamarella, plus Joe and Hunter Biden to be interrogated under oath on national television.

For once the Dems see Trump plans to put the them on trial, not him, they may not object to Josh Hawley’s (R-MO) Motion to Dismiss.  The whole dog’s breakfast goes out the window with a simple majority vote of 51.  Let’s hope.
