HALF-FULL REPORT 12/13/19

trump-celebrates-w-borisWhat an unlucky Friday the 13th today is for Leftards on both sides of the Atlantic.

Massive is an understatement to describe the extent of BoJo’s Conservative Party win.  The final results came in early this morning – of Parliament’s 650 seats, 365 went to BoJo for a gain of 66 and huge outright majority, Labor lost 42 for a paltry 203 seats and their worst election since 1935, and other parties reduced to insignificance.

And it wasn’t just the numbers.  This morning’s Daily Mail reports on The Rout of the Remainers – of the 24 Conservative or “Tory” MPs who voted against Brexit (and thus to Remain in the EU), 21 lost their seats, and to competing pro-Brexit Tories running against them.  Ouch.

Leave it to Piers Morgan to cut to the chase for us.  How’s this for a headline?

Boris Johnson’s Triumph Proves Democracy-Denying Radical Socialists Backed by Self-Righteous Celebrities on Twitter Are Electoral Poison – and If Democrats Fall for the Same Delusion, Trump Will Decimate Them in 2020

“’What an earthquake we have created!’ cried a jubilant Boris Johnson after his stunning UK election triumph last night.

Johnson’s victory was a genuinely seismic moment, and one whose forceful tremors will be felt most keenly across the Atlantic in America.

Because make no mistake, the lessons from this election carry extraordinary pertinence for next year’s US election.

Johnson’s Conservative Party was the only one to run on a platform of delivering the result of the 2016 Referendum into whether the UK should remain in or leave the European Union.

17.4 million people voted then to leave, a 52 percent majority of Britons, but scandalously the losing Remainers – who were quickly dubbed Remoaners – launched a concerted campaign to stop it happening.

Rather like Democrats after Hillary Clinton lost to Trump, they wouldn’t accept the result and have spent the past three-and-a-half years screaming their heads off about how unfair it all is – and demanding another vote.

Since Johnson, one of the key architects of the Brexit win, became Prime Minister in the summer, Remoaner fury has grown ever more hysterical as they’ve branded him a lying cheating racist scumbag with a tawdry history involving women.

And they’ve mocked all his supporters as thick, racist morons who are just too stupid to know what they’re doing.

Sound familiar?

For Boris, read Trump.

For Brexit, read the 2016 Election.

And for Remainers, read Democrats…

The sinister establishment-driven attempt to stop Brexit happening is not dissimilar to the current equally ill-advised Democrat impeachment move on Trump.

Those who voted for Brexit and Trump don’t take kindly to their democratic vote being abused in this way.

And their retribution comes at the ballot box.

If people think Boris Johnson’s earthquake was big, just wait until the Senate acquits President Trump and he uses that victory to storm to re-election.”

Speaking of “massive”… consider David Harsanyi’s reporting yesterday (12/12): The Obama’s Administration’s FISA Abuse Is a Massive Scandal.

“Perhaps if Democrats would momentarily shelve their obsession with Donald Trump, they’d comprehend the staggering abuse of power they’re defending these days.

Because much of Wednesday’s (12/11) Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing with DOJ inspector general Michael Horowitz was jaw-dropping. Horowitz’s testimony, in fact, sounded nothing like the media depiction of the IG report only the day before.

Most major outlets had stressed that the IG had found no bias in the Crossfire Hurricane investigation. But failing to uncover explicit instances of bias and exonerating the FBI aren’t the same thing.

Worse, most of the media had buried the lede. An honest headline would have read something like: “Obama’s FBI cooked up evidence to keep rickety investigation into Trump campaign going.”

From yesterday’s hearing:

Senator Ted Cruz: ‘A lawyer at the FBI creates fraudulent evidence, alters an email that is in turn used as the basis for a sworn statement to the court that the court relies on. Am I stating that accurately?’

Horowitz: ‘That’s correct’.”

Which is why Patricia MaCarthy’s Democrats in Desperation in TTP yesterday (12/12) is a must-read, as she speculates that Horowitz was trolling the Left with his IG report stating he found “no testimonial nor documentary evidence of bias” by the FBI in lying to the FISA Court.

For “the fact is,” Patricia notes, “that the report is a scathing indictment of all those who participated in this plot to destroy Trump and to use and destroy as well anyone they could to that end, like Carter Page.”

Horowitz looks like he teed up the whole scandal for Durham and Barr to criminally prosecute the FBI – and CIA and Obama White House – perps.  Just look at Sharyl Attkisson’s The Attorney General Destroys Obama’s FBI, also in yesterday’s (12/12) TTP, for convincing evidence of that.

The Dem Bottom Line, in other words, is that they – along with their Deep State and media co-conspirators – are in beaucoup deep kim chee, and they know it.

Thus the question of the moment:  How many of the dozens of House Dems, knowing they will lose their seats in 2020 if they vote Yes to impeach this coming Wednesday (12/18), will vote No?

Last night (12/12), the Daily Caller reported asking all 31 Dems who won in 2018 in districts carried by Trump in 2016 if they would vote Yes or No.  Not a single one would commit to how they would vote.

One of them is Oklahoma Dem Kendra Horn.  This afternoon (12/13), DC is reporting her constituents saying, “If she votes for impeachment, she’s screwed.”  Same is blindingly clear for many others.  The Vote to Impeach by the full House next Wednesday (12/18) will be… interesting.

Meanwhile, POTUS was having a triumphant week.

On Tuesday (12/10), Nancy Pelosi caved on USMCA (the US-Mexico-Canada trade agreement replacing NAFTA).  White House trade advisor Peter Navarro explains why this is a big win for POTUS, not Pelosi.

On Thursday (12/12), late last night, Phase One of the new China-US trade deal was announced, sending stocks (S&P and NASDAQ) to record highs today (12/13).

trump-tweet-on-chinadeal
To emphasize the weakness of China’s economy now, the New York Times yesterday (12/12) ran this story:  China’s Companies Binged on Debt. Now They Can’t Pay the Bill.

And as per the POTUS tweet above congratulating BoJo, a US-UK free trade deal will come quickly in the wake of Brexit, which Johnson promises will be done by the end of next January.

All combined, this puts the US economy in the global catbird seat for 2020 and far beyond – great news for America, bad news for Dems.

Another POTUS triumphant milestone.  Leftie Politico cried about it yesterday (12/12): Trump tightens grips on judges as McConnell wins 50th Circuit pick.  And several lower court nominations are expected to be confirmed next week.

The Wall Street Journal on Wednesday (12/11) celebrated Trump’s appointing a full 20% of the entire federal judiciary in his first three years – but not just the quantity but the quality of his appointments:  Trump’s Era of Judicial Excellence.

Time for the two funniest news items of the week.

First is:  Florida Man Dies of Meth Overdose Before Alligator Ate Him.  You can’t make this up.

Second is TIME Magazine making a dementedly and ignorantly angry teenager Person of the Year for 2019.  Not the Hong Kong Protestors, nor Trump, or anyone of genuine global achievement, but some mindless child fruitcake spouting climate fascism.  Pathetically hilarious.

Last week’s HFR closed with a dialogue between Mike Ryan and me on the Forum.  This resulted in a great exchange of Forum views.  So we’ll close with that.  The Forum really is an invaluable resource of TTP – I’d like to encourage you to jump in more if you’ve been reluctant to so far.  We’re all friends here – so jump in, the water’s fine.

Excerpted comments on the TTP Forum re HFR 12/06/19:

Yasuhiko Kimura:

Jack & Mike: Your exchange on dyad and triad is not only interesting but also meaningful and relevant.

Of the ancient Chinese cosmological-philosophical literature, I Ching (易経) is based on a binary logic (yes & no), whereas Tao Teh Ching (道徳経) is based on a ternary logic (yes & no & indeterminate/maybe).

The subject of I Ching is the phenomenal (material-physical/manifest) world, while the subject of Tao Teh Ching is the noumenal-cum-phenomenal (mental-material/metaphysical-physical/unmanifrest-manifest) world. Metaphorically speaking, the mathematical equations in the realm of Tao Teh Ching may contain imaginary numbers, but the actual measurements in the realm of I Ching are always in real numbers.

The phenomenal universe is binary through and through. The primordial binary or dyad is the matter-motion (matter = mother & motion Þ pattern = pater/father). Matter-motion is also substance-energy or particle-wave. The noumenal dimension (mind/consciousness) enters as the observer-chooser (volitional consciousness).

Therefore, you as a volitional consciousness becomes the third element, forming a triad, that observes the dyadic world and chooses or decides on one out of the two alternatives. The dyad may be two opposing or contradictory ideas. Then, you position your conscious mind a level above this ideological dyad, and then either commit to (choose) one ideology or develop a new idea that is a higher synthesis or integration of the dyad.

Whenever and wherever the human being participates in the dyadic phenomenal world, there is always a triadic structure being formed, and the phenomenal process at once becomes a mentational process. Therefore, in the philosophical or cosmological formulations of the Eastern and the Western traditions, the triad or trinity is always found and used.

The ancient Hindu cosmologists formulated a unique trinity by synthesizing various personifications of the Hindu Deity into the Trimūrti (tri; three, mūrti; form), the threefold Supreme Deity, symbolizing the eternal regenerative process of the universe, consisting of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva, in which Brahmā is designated as the creator, Viṣṇu as the preserver, and Śiva as the destroyer-transformer of the universe.

President Trump is a Trimūrti incarnate. He is a trinity of Brahmā, Viṣṇu, and Śiva. He is working to create anew (renew/regenerate) the United States (Brahmā) by preserving what works, which is the system based on the Constitution (Viṣṇu), and creatively destroying what does not work (functional deficits), that is, the ideology of globalism and socialism (“liberalism” and “progressivism”) and the corruption that pervades the Establishment.

Those who cannot see the creative context in which he works and operates can only see the destruction, Śiva devoid of a creative context and without the unity (tri-unity) with Brahmā and Viṣṇu.

Two (2) is the minimum number required for the formation of a unit, whereas three (3) is the minimum number required for the formation of a structure, which is defined as the stable pattern. For example, a triangle is stable while a stick is not.

The unstable but dynamic two-party system inside the unstable but dynamic two-chamber (bicameral) Congress (Legislative branch) constitutes only one vertex inside the stable triadic structure whose two other vertices are the Executive and Judiciary branches.

Four (4) is the minimum number required for the formation of a system, which is the elementary subdivision of the universe, dividing the universe basically into the inside and the outside. In geometry, the tetrahedron is the minimum system, while the triangle is the minimum structure.

If we consider a nation as a system inside the larger system that is the world, then the fourth body (vertex) of the system “Nation” would be the People, with the other three being the Legislative, Executive, and Judiciary bodies.

The existing nation system is suffering from multitudinous complex functional deficits, while the people individually are suffering from various kinds and degrees of self-actualization deficits.

We the People, as the fourth vertex (and vortex) of the system Nation, are individually and collectively responsible for the increasing alleviation and possible elimination of both the functional and self-actualization deficits.

Dyadic Jack Wheeler’s Quote: “The leaders of the Deep State’s attempted coup against the president, such as Comey and Brennan, need to be indicted, convicted, and imprisoned.”
….indicted, convicted, and imprisoned.”

Well that’s “Triadic” and works for all of us !

***

Not all. To quote a friend:

“Lucius Sulla marches on Rome with an army to depose Gaius Marius who had broken Roman laws. He succeeded in restoring order, but set the precedent that taking over with an army was a legitimate tool of statecraft.”

If you just jail them, they respond by pardoning every traitor as soon as they regain power, then jail Republicans on trumped-up charges using rigged trials. Of course, this precedent has already started anyway – see: Gen. Flynn, Roger Stone.

If you don’t jail them, they have an endless flow of corrupt money and absolute carte blanche to keep trying for coups and ‘democratic’ Marxism’s one-way tickets until they get lucky. They’ll keep a fake opposition facade, of course, as communist countries always do. And there are many ‘conservatives’ in the USA who have been happily auditioning for that role. But you? A slave. If you’re lucky.

Which means the Republic is over.

You either break the entire Washington apparatus AND the Democratic Party AND large sections of your security services, with many people jailed or dead, or it’s over.

And if you actually do that? Then what of the Republic is left? And what practical precedents have you set?

The war is on, whether you like it or not. Whether you know it or not. Because the stark reality is that neither side can now afford to cede real political power to the other.

A key question is what side the military-intelligence complex will be on.

Connect the dots: We’re a nation that just had its Praetorian Class directly involved in its elections. Look around the world where we’ve been involved: does that kind of thing ever really go away once it happens? Now add: this nation has lost trust in its institutions – with the exception of its military.

It doesn’t take a genius to see which way this is going.

And that’s what’s at stake here. We’re past competing for elections. We’re conducting battlespace preparation. Dyadic, triadic – until you recognize this reality, it doesn’t matter much.

Thought experiment:

MAYBE if you executed each of these traitors and utterly impoverished their entire families, and did the same to the subordinates who were loyal to their treason, and conducted a massive purge of the security services under a state of emergency, you could create an example so fearsome that 2016-20’s behavior would not repeat within the Praetorian Class.

And even then, I doubt it.

Globalist corporatists and most of Washington would continue to encourage such behavior, led as they are by people with no real sense of moral or political limits. These formidable power structures, backed monolithically by the “mainstream” media, and armed with social media population surveillance that could approach or match the NSA’s on a practical level… they’d find takers.

Of course, we’ll do no such thing; and we’ve established that even jailing these people is useless in the medium term.

So there will be no real deterrence against seizing a multi-trillion economy to colonize and loot, with world-leading military power and a technological panopticon at one’s disposal.

Conclusion:

Trump clearly will not grasp the nettle and cross the Rubicon.  But someone who comes after him will.

Jack Wheeler:

Joe — No need to go Apocalyptic on us.  Santayana was wrong — history does not repeat itself.  History is stochastic, a series of unrepeatable events.  Marx was wrong — history is not predetermined by material productive forces or anything else.  What happened in Rome over 2,000 years ago has no bearing whatever on America’s future.  We still have free will and we will make our own unique future.

Joe Katzman:

I could have used Greek city-sates instead, and others have. The situations have common core dynamics, human nature does not change, and you yourself have agreed that they want us dead and are less than emotionally continent.

Patterns are real. Behaviors set precedents and when tacit agreements collapse, be they mos maiorum or American constitutionalism, the state is thereafter held together by force. Or it is not held together at all.

The agreements of American politics have collapsed. Not will collapse. Have. Washington DC, the Democratic Party, the globalist industrialists, and the leftist parasite infrastructure are all dead set against them.

They will not be convinced to change by writing articles. They have now shown us that they also will not be convinced by elections, either.

We have free will. And it may be possible to find a narrow path that gets us out of this situation without a real war or tyranny.

But it’s not the way to bet.

Jack Wheeler:

Joe –

Yes, there are recurring patterns in human behavior through history, because all of us genetically possess a common human nature.  But the patterns are many, and there is nothing that determines which pattern will emerge from current circumstances that seem to be similar from those of the past.

An example from your Greek city states.  What ended the “Glory that was Greece” of 5th century Athens was that city state losing to that of Sparta in the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC).  The war was lost at the Battle of Aegospotami in 405 where the Spartan Navy wiped out the Athenian Navy on the north side of the Hellespont.

The critical moment came when Athens’ most brilliant general Alcibiades saw how vulnerable the Athenian fleet was and rode down from his castle above the Hellespont to warn the Athenian commanders.  He was in exile for having a LSD party with everyone inebriated with the forbidden psychedelic drug (claviceps purpurea ergot fungus) used in the Eleusinian Mysteries ceremony.

So because Alcibiades was in disgrace, the commanders refused to take his advice, which would have saved them, their fleet, and their city-state of Athens from catastrophic defeat.  It was an act entirely of perverted masochistic free will that changed history.

Again, history is stochastic, just like our own individual lives.  If we could start our lives at any point again, we would never repeat what happened, as we would make different decisions in reaction to different happenstances along the way, resulting in a very different life than the one we’ve had.

“History” is nothing more than a perceived aggregate of a particular collection of individual lives.

Ps:  What pattern of history is being repeated with America electing Donald Trump?  None really – because individuals are capable of breaking patterns.  America’s election of Ronald Reagan ended the inevitability of a Soviet triumph over us.  I’m betting on Donald Trump to end the inevitability of a Democrat-Deep State triumph over us.

Mike Ryan:

This conversation about stability and instability in systems, the dyadic, triadic, and quadratic have real implications for the West’s slide towards the dystopian world of Joe Katzman’s warnings.

Leftists use something like the Hegelian dialectic of thesis-antithesis-synthesis, as Yasuhiko Kimura points out. Except that the synthesis was nearly always created when conservatives yielded and accommodated. This formed the triadic that the left counted upon for a century.

Then one day, conservatives stopped yielding. There were several factors, and one rarely discussed is the cultural experience shared among 2.7 million members of the military through 4.5 million deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. These men and women experienced sh##hole countries up close and personal.

The internet played a part, so did talk radio, and so did the dark web. Obama’s dismal eight woke many up.

The left responded by seeking stability through controls. When conservatives refused to squish, and the left sure as heck had no plans to incorporate the views of conservatives, leftism became unstable and unable to achieve. They responded with political correctness to rebuild the triad as thesis-antithesis-speech control.

Leftists deployed the same basic idea behind the KGB as a system of checkers checking the checkers in some giant circular chain with many layers.

Our task is not to shoot neighbors suspected of being leftist sympathizers. Instead, our mission is to break their systems so that they cannot organize effectively.

Attacking political correctness always and everywhere is a form of asymmetric warfare. Withholding narcissistic supply will cause the left to seek it out in ever more AOC crazy ways.

An analogy in the physical world is the Chernobyl disaster.

The reactor’s control rods were pulled out as the reactor slowed too rapidly ahead of a cooling-water failure trial. Fast neutrons went off the chart, but they were too fast to interact with the uranium fuel. When the water was restored and the rods re-inserted the neutrons were moderated and interacted with the uranium and shazaam, the reactor went to more than 100 times its rated heat output in about six-seconds.

The cooling water flashed to steam so rapidly that the pressure relief valves were overwhelmed, and it exploded like an old-time steam locomotive. Entropy does not have feelings.

The point? We fight them and defeat them by nullifying their PC speech. They will respond with more PC speech and regulatory oversight. Then, just as the nuclear reactor is a machine designed to process tremendous volumes of water, we flood them with urgent issues requiring their emotive concern but containing the elements of two different compassions.

They will become disorganized and ineffective.  What kinds of things might we do? I dunno, ban Moslems, build a wall, step out of a greenhouse gas treaty. Stuff that forces them towards compassion fatigue through a reverse Cloward-Pivin play. The choice should not be the economy vs. CO2. It should be single-mom welfare queens vs. CO2.

Things are so bad for Nancy Pelosi that she is insisting that she is still Catholic to regain PC control. Well, at least she has the “holic” part right.
