Welcome to the Fourth of July HFR!

It’s America’s Birthday, when the most noble document in human history was ratified and made public, the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.

The word Aristotle would use for “noble” above is kalon.  Often translated as noble and honorable, or badly mistranslated as beautiful in the sheer physical sense, kalon for Aristotle is a term of morality.  The kalon is the morally noble, morally honorable, morally admirable – thus it is the morally beautiful.

We don’t have a word for this in English, and may be elusive to grasp for it expresses a philosophical aesthetics – not in the crude popular sense of that term as subjective sentiment regarding art or music, but elegantly embodying an objective moral truth.

Thus when we refer to “America the Beautiful,” we mean something vastly more than its physical beauty like amber waves of grain and purple mountain majesties.  We mean America the Kalon, America the Morally Beautiful.

And that is because of the moral beauty of our country’s founding principles stated in our Declaration of Independence.  Its essence is expressed in the second sentence, the most magnificent statement of a moral ideal in human history:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Note it states an ideal towards which it is America’s moral duty to strive.  Since humans at any time are imperfect, it is irrelevant that the ideal’s authors were imperfect in our eyes now, such as some owned slaves who were not granted these rights.

It is highly likely, for example, that a future generation of Americans will condemn ours today for allowing the unforgiveable immorality of infanticide, of mothers murdering their own children fully capable of surviving out of their wombs.  Perhaps they will demand any statues or memorials to our pro-abortion politicians be torn down.

Further, for however much America has not lived up to its moral ideals in the 243 years since 1776, it has nonetheless lived up to them to a greater degree than any other nation on earth.

The perfect must not be the enemy of the good, we must not be compared to some political heaven but to other societies here on earth.  Where else are people freer to control their own lives, granted more liberty, or capable of pursuing their own happiness?

Let its critics carp.  The fact remains that America for all its faults and flaws is still morally beautiful, deserving of our love and admiration.

I hope you all enjoyed our President’s Salute to America on the Washington Mall in front of the Lincoln Memorial yesterday evening (7/04).  Maybe some of you were lucky enough to be there.

It was thrilling to hear the tens of thousands in attendance chant “USA! USA! USA! USA!” when he and Melania were introduced.  It had been a soggy evening with POTUS behind a rain-streaked bulletproof glass, but the skies cleared and nothing dampened the huge crowd’s enthusiasm.

The President’s speech as a tribute to American history and the US military was spectacular. The B-2 Stealth bomber flies over at 28 minutes, and after the Marine Chorus sings the Battle Hymn of the Republic comes the Blue Angels flyover at the end.  Here it is entire:

Now how cool is this?  While the stupendous barrage of July 4^th fireworks went off above the Washington Mall last night as the climax of the Salute to America, Syria’s chinless dictator Bashar al-Assad was bitterly griping over being screwed out of 2 million barrels of Iranian oil.

Here’s the story, really funny and very revealing.  As reported by Reuters, late Wednesday night (7/03) a detachment of British Royal Marines downroped off a Wildcat helicopter onto the deck of the Iranian-owned Grace I supertanker trying to slip past Gibraltar in the dark of the night.

The Commandos seized the ship as it was illegally carrying 2m barrels of Iranian crude to Syria in violation of EU sanctions.  The really cool part is that the seizure was carried out at the explicit request of President Trump via National Security Advisor John Bolton.

Reuters says all the mullahs in Tehran are in a state of garment-rending “fury” – especially as, thanks to the sanctions POTUS arm-twisted the EU into enacting, Iran “is now exporting as little 200,000 barrels per day, and needs that to be closer to 600,000 to keep its economy afloat.”

Now that’s funny.

The revealing part is that Iran has to send oil to Syria in a tanker 18,000 miles around the entire continent of Africa, through Gibraltar and across the entire Med ‘cause it can’t get it a few hundred miles either through the Suez or overland across Iraq or Turkey.

As you can see, that’s a jaw-gaping long way around – and okay, Egypt blocks any Iranian ship through the Suez, but what about the “land bridge” Iran and its militias have across Iraq or through Turkey to Syria?  So much for the Baghdad government being under Tehran’s thumb, or Erdogan being best buds with the mullahs.

It also shows the extent to which the Islamofascisti in both Tehran and Syria are in Desperation City – courtesy of VSG Trump’s strategy for both.

On the home page of One America News, you’ll see a running tally of The Cost of Illegal Immigration.  Here’s a screenshot taken this morning (7/05):

By later this afternoon the cost today was $450 million.  By the end of the year, the cost will be over a quarter of a trillion dollars.

One June 17, POTUS tweeted, “Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States. They will be removed as fast as they come in.”

Five days later, he tweeted this:

Those two weeks are up tomorrow.  And of course, the Dems have stonewalled any attempt at a solution.  Thus on Monday (7/01) at the White House, POTUS declared, A Lot of People Will Be Deported After July 4.

At first those deported will be the illegals who claimed “asylum” then never showed up to prove it in a court asylum hearing. There are millions of them.

On Wednesday (7/02), ICE sent a notification that hundreds of thousands of dollars in civil penalties will be imposed on illegal aliens who disobey deportation orders by seeking refuge in churches or sanctuary cities. Note the link is to the WaPo so be prepared for bleeding heart sob stories.

Cross every finger and toe that serious mass deportation actually begins tomorrow, and that no two-bit AINO judge is allowed to stop it.  For here’s the real bottom line:

The only hope the Dems have of defeating Trump in 2020, particularly with their pathetic clown car of candidates, is getting away with massive illegal alien voter fraud.

Note their plan is proceeding apace.  It’s not just in Blue State California or New York that the Dems will win anyway.  Pew Research reports that Illegal Alien Population Booming in Red States Ahead of 2020 Election.

This can be prevented at the ballot box, as the HFR 03/08/19 outlined, with a combination of The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA), US federal law making it “unlawful for any alien to vote in any (federal) election” – plus implementing that law via The Real ID Act – Public Law 109-13 Title II Section 201 (3) by requiring federal identification for voting in a federal election.

Nonetheless, the fewer illegal aliens in the country to begin with by November 2020 is a great way to put a kibosh on Dem voter fraud plans at the outset – and put real fear in those illegals remaining (of whom there will still be tens of millions) to go anywhere near a ballot box.

So – let the Deportations begin!!

Now for the Hahahahaha of the Week.

The Betsy Ross Flag has been a symbol of American patriotism since 1777, with thirteen stars of the thirteen founding United States.  Two (on either end) were on prominent display at Obama’s second inauguration.

When Nike issued a patriotic Betsy Ross Flag shoe for July 4…

Its chosen spokesman, vile Hate America AINO Colin Kaeperdick denounced it, tweeting on July 4:

“What have I, or those I represent, to do with your national independence? This Fourth of July is yours, not mine…There is not a nation on the earth guilty of practices more shocking and bloody than are the people of these United States at this very hour.”

Nike promptly caved and withdrew the shoe from sales.  Hilarity ensued.  First, Nike was mercilessly subjected to ridicule, exemplified by Donald Trump Jr, suggesting Nike replace their attempt at patriotism with a Communist Hammer & Sickle more in keeping with their real values:

But here’s what’s really going on.

Two years ago, July 2017, there were worldwide protests against Nike’s Third World sweatshops employing child slave labor.

To counteract the growing movement against it, in 2018 Nike sold its soul to the Devil of the AINO Left, by making its America-hating hero Kaeperdick its hero-spokesman.

And just like that!  In an instant, all the sweatshop protests went silent, not a word of leftie criticism was to be heard.  But selling your soul to Beelzebub always has an infinite price:  the Left has Nike’s nads in a vice forever.

From now on, the instant Nike strays a millimeter from AINO Leftie obedience to their whims, a whisper of dislike from their spokesman who now owns them, back come the global sweatshop protests.  This is such a glaring object lesson of the cost of capitulation to the Fascist Left – and a hilarious one to boot (or is it to shoe?).

In truth, I don’t believe that yesterday was our last happy 4^th, that the Dems will win in 2020.  That’s because I believe with enough awareness and warning, both POTUS and the majority of normal Americans will take the action necessary to prevent it.
