WHAT LOSER WILL THE DEMS PUT UP IN 2020?

2020-dem-hopefulsWho will President Trump run against next year?

It’s way too early to know, and the revelations of the next 2-3 months will shake things up a lot. But it’s fun to speculate.

I hope it will be Creepy Uncle Joe Biden, because:

(1) He’s a pervert who’s sniffed, nuzzled and fondled women and little girls at public events.

(2) He’s so brazenly corrupt he bragged at a meeting of the Council on Foreign Relations how he had blackmailed the government of Ukraine into dropping an investigation of his son, Hunter. (Alas for Bidens per et fils, it’s been reopened.)

(3) His support for segregated schools and racist comments in the past should accelerate Blexit – black exit from the Democrat Party, see the inspirational Blexit.com.

(4) As Obama’s vice president for eight years, he’ll be tarred by Spygate revelations, and

(5) He’s really stupid, as evidenced by the fact he sniffed, nuzzled and fondled little girls in public, and bragged in public how he blackmailed Ukraine into dropping a corruption investigation of his son.

But I doubt Biden will get that far, because not even many Democrats are fond of corrupt racist perverts who are really stupid.

Slow Joe has run for president twice before, but flamed out quickly. Neither the Obamas nor the Clintons have blessed his candidacy. He isn’t radical enough for the moonbats, smart enough for the kleptocrats.

Biden leads in polls, but that’s because the only other candidate most Dem voters have ever heard of is Bernie Sanders.

Name ID is why Bernie is close to Slow Joe in the polls, and both are far ahead of the rest of the field. But Sanders has the most dedicated base of support, far and away the most cash on hand.

Sanders will suffer little from Spygate revelations, could benefit if the Obamunists spied on him, too.

Bernie’s problem is his ceiling is close to his floor. Bernie Bros will turn out to vote, but neither he nor they will make many converts. The old Bolshevik preaches unvarnished socialism, which is unpalatable to a majority of Democrats.

As an old Bolshevik, Bernie believes the state should own the means of production. Silicon Valley oligarchs, Wall Street financiers, other big money men who call most of the shots in the Democrat Party may regard him as nearly as grave a threat to their interests as is Donald Trump.

And as an old Bolshevik, Sanders has little appeal to the Social Justice Warriors who say white, heterosexual men are the root of all evil.

Bernie won’t lose support as the campaign goes on. But he won’t grow it either.

As Biden plummets and Sanders flatlines, who may emerge from the field of nobodies?

With Biden there are 21 announced candidates.

Sen. Kamala Harris is said to be Obama’s favorite. But she has been, ah, less than electric on the campaign trail. She’s contradicted herself at campaign events, seemed confused and uninformed. Evidently presenting a coherent message isn’t one of her oral skills (she’s famous for having others).

Harris is a cinch for veep in the unlikely event Biden wins the nomination, but she doesn’t appear to have what it takes to win the top job.

Fauxcahontas Warren is a joke even to Democrats.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand was going nowhere anyway, will be dead meat once more is known about her family’s connection to the NXIVM sex cult.

The one that worries me most is the lady who ate her salad with a comb (mean girl Sen. Amy Klobuchar),” says Unseen 1. “She is the most normal one out there.”  Yes, it’s a real news story.  NBC News, Feb. 22, 2019: Klobuchar Ate Her Salad with a Comb.

Most of the other has-beens and never-wases are running for reasons other than because they think they can win.

The one to keep an eye on is South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg. So far his campaign has been you should vote for me because I’m really really gay, but he’s intelligent and articulate. The leftist drivel they all spout sounds a little less nuts coming from his mouth.

In the past, it would have seemed ludicrous that a small city mayor (South Bend’s population is 102,245) with no significant private sector accomplishments would be qualified to be president. But when the Spygate scandal breaks, it may benefit Mayor Pete to have been far from the scene of the crime.

Buttigieg’s dad was a Commie – the worst kind.  Notre Dame Professor Joseph Buttigieg was a devotee of Fascist-Communist Antonio Gramsci.  TTPer Mike Ryan has been explaining on the Forum just how evil Gramsci’s influence has been.

I suspect the son is like his father, but he’s hiding it fairly well. If Bernie Sanders falls short, Buttigieg may be the candidate best able to keep Bernie Bros on the reservation.

Much depends upon whom the Lying Swine anoint. The MSM has lost a lot of credibility, but Dems to whom they give free publicity have a huge advantage.

Buttigieg recently replaced Robert Francis (BetaMale) O’Rourke as the MSM flavor of the month. If the romance persists, Buttigieg has staying power the other no-names lack.

The first consequence of having a mob running for president is all the presidential debates this year will be cattle shows. With 21 (or more) candidates, there can be no meaningful discussion of issues, no debate in these “debates.”

Few nobodies will drop out before Iowa, because the debates are what offer them their 15 minutes of fame.

The second consequence is Bernie Sanders could win most – even all – the primaries, and still lose the nomination.

Democrats have proportional representation, which means that in a crowded field the winner doesn’t win much. All who get a minimum number of votes get delegates. Sanders could win a plurality of votes in the primaries, but have the majority of delegates go to others.

Couple that with the handful of convention states, and Democrat “super-delegates,” and we could have the first brokered Democrat convention since 1924.

The way to prevent that is if the field shrinks rapidly after Iowa and New Hampshire. But some candidates with little national appeal –such as Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and former Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper – have strong local appeal, enough fund-raising ability to have staying power, and the incentive a brokered convention might turn to them.

Sanders is poison to roughly half the rank and file, to most of the Democrat Party establishment, especially the Obamas and the Clintons. I bet he gets screwed again.

What happens then? Do the progs run an independent candidate in November? Could it be Bernie himself?

In the unlikely event Sanders is nominated, would an independent candidacy by a not so crazy liberal such as former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz have legs?

The only things we know for sure about the Democrat race is that it will be fun to watch, and will end badly for them.
