Welcome to the Merry Christmas HFR!  Christmas 2017 is the Merriest that America has had in a very long time.  Certainly the Merriest for all conservatives, patriots, and those who love America.  That’s because…

For the Losers who want America to fail, it’s a Forrest Gump Christmas, because as Forrest so wisely observed, “Stupid is as stupid does.”  Or as the POTUS puts it…

We’ll start with Oklahoma – as in the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical Oklahoma!  A smash Broadway play, it was made into a movie in 1955.

Every Democrat Doom-and-Gloomer should be forced at gunpoint to watch the clip below as many times as necessary until they get it.

The scene is a train station in small rural town in Oklahoma in 1906.  A cowboy has returned from Kansas City and tells his friends what’s it like:

What the Dems need to get is that Trump’s America is just getting started.  In 1955, moviegoers loved the joke that 1906 was as far as civilization could go.  In 2016, the Dems’ demigod icon sang the same song – but not as a joke.

He was serious that America had gone as far as it could go, that candidate Trump (whose name he wouldn’t even say) would fail in trying to go further. Watch and listen carefully to these 70 seconds in June 2016:

The most astounding thing about this is, after a $5.2 trillion increase in stock market value with 86 new record closing Dow highs since Trump’s election, with Latino unemployment at a record low, black unemployment at a 17-year low, and a manufacturing jobs boom – the Dems still believe this.

The Zero-Pelosi-Schumer Gang of Idiots and their Fake News Propagandists still think America has gone as far as it can go, still predict Disaster with Trump.

In fact, the Dems have sailed far beyond stupidity and into total delusion, an almost pathological estrangement from reality.

Yesterday (12/21), the WaPo ran this story: House Democrats Are Readying for Impeachment.  The entire Dem Party is going as Dementia Wacko as Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters.

This is not hyperbolic.  This is to say the Democrat Party is actually going insane, for real.  They make no case and give no evidence for why the President should be impeached other than they hate him personally.

The real delusion, however, is believing 2018 will be a “Blue Wave” election sweeping them into majority.

The Pubs now have a 47-seat House majority, so they’d have to lose 24 seats to give the Dems a one-seat majority of 218.  (House impeachment requires only a simple majority, while Senate conviction needs a two-thirds majority.)

What Dems need think about, however, is not Blue Wave fantasies, but is whether the Democrat Party will still exist a year from now.

That is, the Democrat Party may go the way of the Whig Party which dissolved in 1854.

Not one single House or Senate Dem voted for Trump Tax Reform passage this week, with every Dem leader predicting it would massively fail.

It’s already massively succeeding, with AT&T announcing the day of passage (12/20) 200,000 of its US workers will get a $1000 Christmas bonus and will invest an additional $1 billion in capital spending next year – specifically because of the tax reform.

Comcast topped that with pledging infrastructure investment of $50 billion “based on the passage of tax reform.”

This is only the barest hint of what’s going to happen to the US economy next year.  The doors are going to be blown off.  POTUS nails it:

The Dems will be looked upon as literal retards for fighting it every step of the way, instead of having the brains to cooperate with Trump and be a part of its success – as the Divine Sarah pointed out (at 2:25 into the tape):

Exactly, the Dems should have been banging down the White House door and begging to work with the POTUS.  Instead, they did this:

The Dems are dying right before our eyes.  As the Greeks understood 2,500 years ago: He whom the gods wish to destroy they first make insane.

And meanwhile, back on the Left Coast at the most Hate Trump-Love Illegal Aliens state in the nation, Zero Hedge asked yesterday (12/21):  Is California Already in Recession?

However bad off Gov. Moonbeam’s state is, it’s going to get worse.

Rather than a Blue Wave next year, you’re going to see a Blue Receding Tide.  That’s due to Trump having the huevos to disallow SALT (state and local taxes) deductions above $10K from federal income taxes.

While not affecting any Joe & Jane Sixpack who never pay more than 10K in SALT, it really bites the wealthy, particularly those in McMansions with high property taxes.  So say goodbye to Blue States having their big government-high tax shtick subsidized by Uncle Sam.

As Red States boom with their smaller government-low tax enticement, the Blues will have to offer the same or be out-competed into the dirt.  This is Trump’s genius and only he could have pulled it off.

(It’s a shame, by the way, that my buddy Dana Rohrabacher, R-CA, didn’t have the huevos to stand up to his donors screaming over all the SALT they had to pay now, just like the rest of the 12 Pubs who voted no on tax reform.)

Almost as huge as passing the Tax Reform and Jobs Act this week was its effect on the Senate and House leadership.  They have joined Trump.  Everyone wants to be with a winner, and that’s Trump in spades.  He is Large and in Charge.

Yet just as important, they learned in the whole sausage-making process of creating a bill that every Pub Senator could support, they learned the POTUS is the real deal in savvy win-win cooperative deal-making.  Took a while for them to figure it out, but they have.

As Senate Finance Chairman Orrin Hatch said on the White House South Lawn steps in the celebration of the tax reform bill:

“Mr. President, I have to say you’re living up to everything I thought you would. You’re one heck of a leader. This is just the beginning. I just hope we all get behind him every way we can and we get this country turned around in ways that will benefit the whole world. We’re going to keep fighting to make this the greatest presidency we’ve seen not only in generations but maybe ever.”

While PDJT had this to say about McConnell:

So it is that immediately after the tax bill passed, McConnell put a gun at the head of DACA Amnesty, Chain Migration, Visa Lottery and pulled the trigger:  “McConnell will only bring an immigration bill to the Senate floor if it matches President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.”

In sum,  the referenced SECURE Act – S.2192 – of Chuck Grassley’s would:

Cut legal admissions in half and make it merit-based, stop the visa lottery, end chain migration, tighten asylum laws, mandate E-Verify for every hire, tighten public charge laws — in exchange for accepting 20% of “Dreamer” illegals (690,000 out of 3.3 million), who would not be able to sponsor their relatives.

And yes, Trump will get his Wall – Kate’s Wall for Kate Steinle.

Bottom line is that the White House and the Pub Congress will be working and cooperating next year far far more than they did this.  Working together to Make America Great Again blows the Dems out of next November’s water.

TTP had Victor Davis Hanson’s The Trump Doctrine of Strategic Realism the next day (12/19).

The HFR takes particular pleasure in noting how much Trump must have enraged his predecessor who was a High Priest of the Cult of Global Warming.  Zero’s last NSS (2015) focused on “climate change” i.e. Warmism as one of America’s gravest national security threats.

Trump turned that on its head.  It’s not that, as his critics angrily pointed out, his NSS ignored “climate change” – it’s that Trump considers Obama’s radical environmentalism treating global warming as a matter of national defense is itself a national security threat.

Here’s the text in the NSS:

“US leadership is indispensable to countering an anti-growth energy agenda that is detrimental to US economic and energy security interests. Given future global energy demand, much of the developing world will require fossil fuels, as well as other forms of energy, to power their economies and lift their people out of poverty.”

Zero’s policy on global warming is “detrimental” to US security interests.  How’s that for poking Zero in the ribs with a sharp stick?

Then, our POTUS, together with our UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, began poking the bottomlessly corrupt anti-American and anti-Semitic United Nations in the ribs as well.

Yesterday (12/21), the UN General Assembly voted 128-9 to declare America’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital as “null and void.” (There are 193 UN member states: there were 35 abstentions and 21 non-voting states.)

Prior to the vote, Ambassador Haley gave the entire General Assembly a 5-minute tongue-lashing you would not believe.  This is to savor and enjoy:

You’ll probably want to watch that more than once – too much fun not to.

The day before (12/20), Trump told reporters at the White House: “They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care.”

Which means the UN Pointless Insult Vote is something to celebrate – we get to cut all aid to 128 countries and billions more to the UN!  Here are the 128:

Which also means zeroing out much of the $25.8 billion in foreign aid for FY 2018 easily pays for Kate’s Wall!  A Total Two-Fer!

That’s winning.

Oh, and at least the Security Council may have learned its lesson.  This afternoon, all 15 members voted unanimously to impose increased sanctions on North Korea as the US requested.  Yes, including Russia and China.

Dirty Cop Mueller is being told by Republicans in Congress to “Put up or shut up” (12/20).

House Republicans quietly investigate possibly criminal corruption at DOJ, FBI (12/20).

Senator Rand Paul Calls For “Investigation Into High-Ranking Obama Officials” for Tampering With 2016 Election (12/20).

Hillary Clinton campaign, DNC accused of ‘corrupt’ money scheme in new FEC complaint (12/20).

Attorney General Sessions has ordered a DOJ investigation of Hillary’s Uranium One scandal (12/21).

And the biggest neck of all:  Obama Protects Hezbollah Terrorism and Drug Trafficking for His Iran Deal (12/17).

Politico broke the story which should be front page news on every paper and news site there is, but as the New York Post reports, there’s A Deafening Media Silence on the Obama-Hezbollah Scandal.

But not for long.  Israeli politicians are now calling for Obama to forfeit his Nobel Peace Prize for his support of Hezbollah terrorists.  And this:  Congress to Investigate Obama Scheme to Nix Investigation into Hezbollah Terrorists.

Now for the must-read of the week.  Most suspect the “high-ranking Obama officials” Rand Paul wants investigated in colluding against Trump’s election are Susan Rice and Ben Rhodes.

The ace researchers at Tablet magazine showed on Wednesday (12/20) the timeline why the organizer of the collusion is Obama himself:  Did President Obama Read the ‘Steele Dossier’ in the White House Last August?

“If a sitting president used the instruments of state, including the intelligence community, to disseminate and legitimize a piece of paid opposition research in order to first obtain warrants to spy on the other party’s campaign, and then to de-legitimize the results of an election once the other party’s candidate won, we’re looking at a scandal that dwarfs Watergate.”

Yes, the day may come when Zero and Hillary show up at the White House to beg for a Presidential Pardon.  Comey and Andy McCabe won’t bother for they know they’ll be refused entrance at the White House gate.
