HALF-FULL REPORT 11/17/17

Back in the HFR saddle again, and once more can’t thank Jack Kelly enough for his superb HFRs while I was in the Gobi and Himalayas.

We’re going to call this the Karma on Steroids HFR.

This is going to be so much fun you’ll be begging me to stop – like Trump warned about too much winning.  “Please, Jack, we can’t stand having so much fun,” you’ll say, and I’ll reply, “No, no, no, we’re going to keep having fun and more fun and more fun.  We’re going to Make America Fun Again!”

We gotta start with Senator Frankenstein.  A nicer, sweeter, more karmic thing couldn’t happen to the creepiest schmuck libtard in the Senate than this yesterday (11/16):  Journalist Leann Tweeden Accuses Sen. Al Franken of Fondling, Kissing Her Without Consent.

And it’s no “she said” accusation.  She gave the press a photo of Franken molesting her while asleep – Franken is caught double red-handed, pun intended.  The photo captioned SENATOR PERV was the huge Drudge headline:

She was sound asleep on a C-17 returning from a USO tour in Afghanistan.  The photo was on a CD of the pics taken by the tour photographer.

How do you think the Senate Swamp Rats now calling for Roy Moore to quit will react?  They have little choice with that photo.  McConnell and Schumer both immediately called for an Ethics Committee investigation of Weird Al.

They’ll soon be on a slippery slope, for Franken is a total pig – like joking about drugging and raping CBS’ Leslie Stahl, and his infamously disgusting baby rape joke.  His colleagues may find they have no choice but to eject him from the Senate.

Especially when those colleagues – on both sides of the Hill – are desperate for a distraction from the sex abuse scandal that involves them all.

On Tuesday (11/14), Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-CA) publicly disclosed: Taxpayer Piggy Bank Lets Congress Settle Sexual Harassment Cases in Secret.

Or as the London Daily Mail headlined it (11/15): Rep. Jackie Speier claims $15million in taxpayer money has been used to settle sexual harassment claims against members of Congress in the past 10 to 15 years.

It gets worse.  To even file a formal complaint takes 90 days of “counseling,” the accuser has to sign a non-disclosure agreement, so that the politician’s identity and how much was paid has to remain secret.  This is done through a bureaucracy called the Congressional Office of Compliance.

Last night (11/16), it was compelled to issue its Awards and Settlement Figures since its inception in 1997:

No names of course, no details of what abuse by whom.  Of course a huge clamor has arisen to know who the perps are.  Mark Levin takes this one step further.

It is so completely outrageous that there’s a secret slush fund of taxpayer money to pay off staffers who’ve been abused by politicians that Levin is calling for McConnell and Ryan to resign from Congress.  They are the leaders of Congress who knew all about it and did nothing – “they should resign.”  The HFR couldn’t agree more.

Meanwhile, the smear of Judge Roy Moore is unraveling fast.  On Tuesday (11/14) in “The Red Queen, The Scum of the Swamp, and Gresham’s Women,” we discussed how Moore’s signature on accuser Beverly Nelson’s high school yearbook could be a forgery.

Now it seems clear that it is.  In an open letter to Sean Hannity dated Wednesday (11/15), Judge Moore stated:

“We are in the process of investigating these false allegations to determine their origin and motivation. For instance, we have documented that the most recent accuser, Beverly Nelson, was a party in a divorce action before me in Etowah County Circuit Court in 1999. No motion was made for me to recuse.

 

In her accusations, Nelson did not mention that I was the judge assigned to her divorce case in 1999, a matter that apparently caused her no distress at a time that was 18 years closer to the alleged assault. Yet 18 years later, while talking before the cameras about the supposed assault, she seemingly could not contain her emotions.

 

My signature on the order of dismissal in the divorce case was annotated with the letters “D.A.,” representing the initials of my court assistant [Delver Adams]. Curiously the supposed yearbook inscription is also followed by the same initials—”D.A.” But at that time I was Deputy District Attorney, not district attorney.

 

Those initials as well as the date under the signature block and the printed name of the restaurant are written in a style inconsistent with the rest of the yearbook inscription. The “7’s” in “Christmas 1977” are in a noticeably different script than the “7’s” in the date “12-22-77.” I believe tampering has occurred.

 

Are we at a stage in American politics in which false allegations can overcome a public record of 40 years, stampede the media and politicians to condemn an innocent man, and potentially impact the outcome of an election of national importance? When allegations of events occurring 40 years ago—and never before mentioned during a 40-year career of public service—are brought out and taken seriously only 30 days before a critical election, we may be in trouble as a country.

 

I adamantly deny the allegations of Leigh Corfman and Beverly Nelson, did not date underage girls, and have taken steps to begin a civil action for defamation.”

It should be much more than a civil action.  What evidently happened is that Nelson copied the robo-signature in her divorce papers of court clerk Delver Adams for Judge Moore into her high school yearbook.  That is criminal fraud committed for the purpose of delegitimizing a federal election.

Beverly Nelson needs to be immediately indicted for criminal prosecution.  It may well be that her smear artist attorney Gloria Allred is a partner in the crime.  If found guilty, both need to go to federal prison for a long time.

But the gods of karma aren’t done with the Dems yet this week.  On Wednesday (11/15), the New York Times (yes, the Lying Swine’s flagship) ran a front page story headlined:  “What About Bill?  Sexual Misconduct Debate Revives Questions about Clinton”.

What started with the exposure of Chief Hollywood Pig and Dem Megadonor Harvey Weinstein has uncontrollably snowballed – despite the best efforts to deflect it by smearing Roy Moore – to engulfing America’s Rapist-in-Chief, Bill Clinton.

Dem after Dem are now saying they believe Kathleen Willey, Kathy Shelton, Juanita Broaddrick and Paula Jones.  Yesterday, Dem Senator Kirsten Gillibrand said Clinton should have resigned over his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

Of course, she’s a Demtard willing to throw Slick Willie under the bus in order to dredge up lies about Trump as a rationale to demand he resign now.  While that’s a laughable dead-end, you don’t get better karma than despicable people willing to eat their own in a futile attempt to destroy someone they hate.

It’s going to get worse for the Clintons now.  Yesterday (11/16), the FBI informant on the Uranium One scandal was identified.  William Campbell, on whom Obama placed a gag order so he couldn’t disclose the hundreds of millions in payoffs to the Clinton Foundation in exchange for Secretary of State Hillary signing off on uranium deals, is now free to testify to Congress.

At the very least, both Bill & Hillary’s reputations will be buried under a garbage heap.  We can dream they’ll be locked up in orange jumpsuits as they deserve, can’t we?

With all this bashing of Congress, let’s take a moment to thank one Senator for doing the right thing this week.  On Monday (11/13), Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley ended the Dem abuse of “blue slips” that block votes on Trump’s judicial nominees.

“I won’t let senators abuse the blue slip to block qualified nominees for political or ideological reasons,” Grassley declared.

The result?  As the linked story notes, “Grassley’s decision clears the path for the president to rack up an impressive number of successful judicial appointments going into the 2018 midterm elections.”

On Wednesday (11/15), the awful head of the most awful bureaucratic monstrosity created by Obama, Richard Cordray, resigned.  Good riddance.  But as the IBD explains, this is not an opportunity for Trump to put his own man in charge – it’s an opportunity to get rid of the entire fascist unconstitutional Consumer Financial Protection Bureau entirely.  It’s a must-read.

Speaking of fascist tyrannies, two of them did a face plant this week.

Venezuela and Zimbabwe are among the most despicable countries on the planet.  Once middle-class free market prosperous, years of socialist dictatorship has destroyed their wealth, leaving millions destitute and starving – while the dictators and their cronies live extravagantly large.

On Monday (11/13), Fitch and S&P declared Venezuela in default.  Yesterday (11/16), the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) did the same.  The country is $60 billion in debt and is bankrupt with no money and collapsing oil production.  Bond holders like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan are going to be shaved bald.

The last thing Nicolas Maduro, the fascist thug who rules Venezuela, will do is give up power and take any responsibility.  His latest tactic is, believe it or not, to blame everything on Trump.

If any ruler is more despicable than Maduro (or his predecessor Hugo Chavez) it would be Zimbabwe’s mass-murdering monster Robert Mugabe.

On Wednesday (11/15), a palace coup took place, placing 93 year-old Mugabe under house arrest and his hated wife Grace feeling the country.  The impetus was Grace telling the senile old coot to declare she would be ruling the country from now on.

This threatened all the corrupt elite who got rich under Mugabe while the rest of the country starved.  Here’s the Daily Mail’s photo essay on the horror of Mugabe and “Gucci Grace” – with this pic of just one of Mugabe’s homes:

So will anything change?  Will anyone admit these are two ultimate examples of the inevitable failure of socialism and government autocracy?  Will there be anything but new corrupt rulers in place of the old ones?  It would be delusional to bet Yes.

Venezuela stands a better chance of revival than Zimbabwe, as it has a more democratic tradition.  But for now, may they serve as an object lesson of political lunacy.  Karma indeed is getting its revenge on both.

Let’s close with the thrillingly inspiring karma of the week.  Karma is getting what you deserve, bad and good.

On Tuesday (11/14), President Trump completed his momentous 12-day trip through Asia with First Lady Melania.  He got what he deserved – the respect of world leaders and the adoration of their citizens.

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan: “There has never been such close bonds intimately connecting the leaders of both nations as we do now in the history of the Japan-US alliance.”

President Moon Jae-in of South Korea: “There is a special bond forged between President Trump and myself which is meaningful and I am grateful to be part of.”

The speech our president gave to the South Korean Parliament – “The Time for Excuses Is Over – Now Is the Time for Strength” – received 20 standing ovations.

In China, Trump was treated like royalty as no other foreign leader has.  It included a state dinner of extraordinary pomp and pageantry inside the Forbidden City, where no foreign leader since 1949 has been invited to dine.

Even the New York Times was awestruck at Chinese adulation of our president – headlining that Chinese call him “Uncle Trump” and “Donald the Strong” –

“In China… Mr. Trump has acquired a legion of admirers who hail him as a straight-talking politician and business mogul with a knack for deal-making.

 

‘He’s true to himself,’ said Dai Xiang, a resident of the eastern province of Jiangsu who belongs to an online group of more than 23,000 people that exchanges news and commentary about Mr. Trump. ‘He’s real, unlike other politicians’.”

Trump was equally welcomed in Hanoi, Vietnam, where Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc lauded his offer to mediate in the South China Sea dispute with China.  Also in Hanoi he had a quite cordial meeting with Putin.

And in Manila, Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte sang Trump a love song after dinner.  One of the verses was: “You are the light in my world, a half of this heart is mine.”

On top of all this, he landed hundreds of billions of dollars worth of new trade deals for American business.  It was an extraordinary success in every respect, which the Lying Swine are loathe to admit but have to.
