HALF-FULL REPORT 10/13/17

Iran isn’t complying with the terms of the nuclear deal the Obama administration negotiated with the mullahs, President Trump said today (10/13). He laid out a new strategy to make certain the “radical regime” never acquires nuclear weapons.

The president’s speech was nuanced and masterful. Even McCain liked it.

He blasted the “fanatical regime,” recounted its history of terror, but praised the Iranian people. You can watch it, and the press conference that followed, here.

The administration also listed the entire Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

Trump cleverly tossed a hot falafel into the lap of Congress. He didn’t withdraw from the deal entirely. He held out hope it could be continued, if the mullahs clean up their act.

Obama never submitted the Iran deal to the Senate as a treaty, because he knew he could get nowhere near the two-thirds vote required for ratification.

Instead, GOP Swamp Thing Bob Corker, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, engineered a deal that requires the president to certify every 90 days that Iran is “transparently, verifiably and fully” implementing the agreement.

Congress now has 60 days in which either to re-impose economic sanctions on Iran, or leave the deal intact.

President Trump issued an executive order yesterday (10/12) to permit people to buy health insurance across state lines. Rand Paul explains here why this is a big deal.

Trump also will end subsidies to health insurance companies. The subsidies are expensive, and illegal.

Earlier, Trump overturned Obama’s contraception mandate. He’s just begun to dismantle Zero’s pride and joy, the president tweeted today. Will the exemption for Congress from Obamacare be next to go?

The Supreme Court dismissed Tuesday (10/10) a lawsuit against President Trump’s travel ban, vacated a lower court judgment against it.

Harvey Weinstein was fired Sunday (10/8) from the company he and his brother founded, accelerating his startling plunge from one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood and most influential Democrat contributors nationally to pariah.

The company’s directors then voted to change its name. Weinstein’s name will be removed from television shows he produced.

Before the vote, Weinstein sent this pathetic plea for support to other Hollywood “power players.” Crickets.

Harvey Weinstein is a sexist pig, a serial abuser who delighted in humiliating women, is gross in his behavior, filthy in his personal hygiene.

Virtually everybody who is anybody in Hollywood and the Democrat Party has known this for decades.

Yet at Hollywood awards presentations, Weinstein has been thanked more often than God. He’s a “wonderful human being,” said Michelle Obama.

Hypocrisy on steroids. For the MSM too. The New York Times killed a story about Weinstein in 2004.

The Gray Lady wasn’t then as biased a partisan rag as it is today. Since the Weinstein expose gravely embarrasses leftists – and only leftists – why did the Times publish this story now?

Two reasons, thinks Lee Smith.

First, “because the media industry that once protected (Weinstein) has collapsed. The magazines that used to publish the stories (his firm) optioned can’t afford to pay for the kind of reporting… that translates into screenplays.”

Second, “because the court over which Bill Clinton once presided… no longer exists.”

Paul Rahe suspects it’s because the Times has taken sides in the increasingly nasty struggle between Bernie bros and Clintonians.

Rabbi Aryeh Spiro thinks it’s because Weinstein was unfashionably pro-Israel.

Liberal women did it because they saw conservative women take down Roger Ailes and Bill O’Reilly, Brian Cates thinks.

There’s another possibility. The Weinstein scandal broke almost a year to the day NBC leaked the infamous Billy Bush tape to the Washington Post.

The Justice Department quietly has been cracking down on the dark web and pedophile rings, gathering evidence of sex crimes committed by prominent people.

I can tell you that the number 1 problem in Hollywood is, was, and always will be pedophilia,” former child actor Corey Feldman said in a 2011 interview.

Did the Times run the Weinstein story because editors were told the hammer was about to fall, this time there’d be no cover up?

“President Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions will be derelict in their duties if they do not launch a full investigation into the Harvey Weinstein sexual assault scandal,” Daily Caller Editor Geoffrey Ingersoll wrote Wednesday (10/11).

They may be way ahead of you, Geoffrey.

Now that the dam has burst, more accusers are coming forward, say Weinstein did much worse than sexual harassment. Other Hollywood icons are being outed.

One of the Times reporters who wrote the Weinstein story thinks it will continue “for weeks to come, if not longer.” Stock up on popcorn.

The stock market is flirting with record highs again this week. EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s plans to repeal Obama carbon emission regulations could be a big reason why. Repeal could reduce compliance costs by $33 billion, save 250,000 jobs.

“President Trump is actually the only president in modern history who is working to reduce both material costs and energy costs simultaneously,” says Sundance, always a must read on MAGA-nomics.

Catalonian independence isn’t working out the way the Russians and George Soros hoped.

There was a humongous march and rally in Barcelona (approaching a million people) against secession Sunday (10/8).

France, Germany and Italy won’t recognize Catalonian independence. Banks and other businesses moved out of Catalonia.

On Tuesday (10/10), the day after he said he’d declare independence, Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont asked the regional parliament to “suspend results” of the referendum. That’s a “full-blooded separatist retreat,” said Bloomberg News.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is ending the tradition of permitting senators to “blue slip” judicial nominees in their states, because Democrats abuse it.

At this point in his presidency, Trump has had more district and circuit court nominees confirmed than either Obama or G.W. Bush. Now the pace will accelerate.

By pushing the transparently phony Steele dossier at the behest of Fusion GPS, the MSM helped Russia destabilize the United States.

NBC made the patently ridiculous claim President Trump wants a tenfold increase in nuclear weapons. SecDef James Mattis slapped that story down.

Multiple news organizations reported, falsely, Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly was about to resign, or be fired. Watch Kelly spank the Lying Swine.

This fake news promotes the narrative President Trump is reckless, that his administration is in chaos.

NBC had the Weinstein story, but buried it. This wasn’t the first time big stories were spiked.

“With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License?” President Trump tweeted Wednesday.

That tweet gave the Lying Swine and NeverTrump conservatives the vapors. Censorship, fascism, free speech, First Amendment, blah blah blah.

Did Trump tweet on the spur of the moment, out of frustration? Maybe. But nearly all his tweets are deliberate, signal forthcoming action.

Broadcast licenses are worth millions. The Federal Communications Commission regulates them, because bandwidth is limited.

The FCC grants licenses to local affiliates, not broadcast networks. But NBC owns 12 stations in local markets.

Trump appointees now control the FCC. Lack of integrity, and lying are among the reasons the FCC has revoked licenses in the past.

The NFL inched closer to capitulation as the most epic blunder in the history of marketing bled into its third week.

Vice President Mike Pence left the Indianapolis Colts/San Francisco 49ers game Sunday (10/8) after 49ers players knelt for the national anthem.

How dare you protest our protest, the protesters protested.

“This is what systematic oppression looks like,” said 49ers safety Eric Reid.

White people “do not get to” criticize black protesters, said CNN’s Symone Sanders.

He’ll bench any player who disrespects the flag, said Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Jones is like a slave owner, said ESPN’s Michael Wilbon.

Fans upset with Jones’ stance should boycott Cowboys’ advertisers, tweeted Jemelle Hill, ESPN talk show hostess and black millennial dunce who last month called President Trump a white supremacist.

ESPN suspended the loud-mouthed loon. Because this was Jemelle’s second offense? Or because this offense could cost ESPN money?

Favorable ratings for the NFL fell from 57 percent to 44 percent. Ratings for Sunday Night Football were down 3 percent. Ratings for Monday Night Football were down 17 percent. Yesterday, ratings for Thursday Night Football were down 5 percent from the week before.

Why is the NFL getting massive tax breaks while at the same time disrespecting our Anthem, Flag and Country?President Trump tweeted Tuesday (10/10).

Expect the NFL to surrender unconditionally NLT the end of next week.

In news you won’t hear much about from the MSM:

*Hina Alvi, wife of Imran Awan, lead suspect in the House Dem IT scandal, has turned against her husband. Awan made 5,400 unauthorized logins (out of 5,700 total), transferred a massive amount of data.

*New York Times’ “audience strategy” editor brags about his ties to Antifa.

*House Intel Committee ramps up Obama “unmasking” probe.

*Chief political analyst for ABC News pushes fake terrorism claim.

*FBI cites black extremists as new domestic terror threat.

*Unemployment falls to lowest level in 43 years, despite hurricanes.

*In California today, you can go to jail longer for using the wrong pronoun than for intentionally infecting someone with HIV.

*The FBI is investigating whether Puerto Rican officials withheld hurricane relief.

It’s difficult to overstate how much harm the Harvey Weinstein scandal does to President Trump’s enemies, and ours.

This scandal is too big, too salacious, for the Lying Swine to downplay – even though reporting on it reveals their complicity in earlier coverups.

More starlets will come forward to dish dirt on Weinstein and other “power players” (I wouldn’t want to be Ben Affleck right now), to cleanse their souls, exact revenge, or to obtain their 15 minutes of fame.

What’s on the record about Harvey Weinstein is plenty disgusting. But I suspect the lightning speed with which Harvey’s buds dropped him down the Memory Hole was prompted by fear something much, much worse may soon be exposed.

*We’ll be spared further sermonettes from Hollywood celebs about the evils of Trump, the NRA, Rethuglicans.

The days of happy backslapping with Ben Affleck and George Clooney are coming to an end for a (Democrat) party that now has to distance itself from celebrity spokespeople who were content to lecture the rest of the country about their religion, their guns or their politics

*Hollywood money will become toxic for Dems. Many pols (are at least pretending) to give away money Weinstein gave them. Hillary hasn’t, she said, because she doesn’t know how much Harvey raised for her. (It was $1.493 billion since 1999, according to FEC records.)

This is a big deal, because Democrats are hurting for cash. Most big contributors are either buying influence, or paying protection. But you can’t buy influence from, and you don’t need to pay protection to, the party out of power.

So Dems are pretty much restricted to donations from people who actually like their policies. Welp.

*The Republican war on women narrative has passed its sell by date. Dems and journos who covered for Weinstein and other pigs no longer can pose as defenders of the fair sex.

Imagine the outrage if credible evidence emerges prominent Dems knew their Hollywood contributors were pedophiles, were pedophiles themselves.

Feeling up starlets at public events and masturbating in front of female reporters is disgusting. Molesting children is evil. Normals won’t forgive it.

The Justice Department already may have such evidence, speculates “Rex,” an Australian admirer of our president.

The key is the 21-month sentence perv Anthony Weiner got for offenses typically punished by 10 to 14 years in prison.

The FBI had “Carlos Danger” dead bang. No plea bargain was needed to get a conviction. Weiner had to be rolling over on bigger fish.

Which bigger fish? Weiner is married to Huma Abedin, Hillary’s closest confidante.

Read Rex’s thread carefully. He notes intriguing coincidences between the dates Weiner signed the plea bargain in May, and began serving his sentence in August, and other important events.

If the Harvey Weinstein scandal came as no surprise to President Trump and Attorney General Sessions, could his exposure have been the opening salvo of a long planned offensive?

If I’m right, blow after blow will rain down on leftists in rapid succession (like, say, gutting Obamacare one day, decertifying the Iran deal the next), leaving them dazed, confused, disheartened, defeated.

Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.” – Sun Tzu.

We’ll see. Aside from maybe Trump and Sessions, actress Rose McGowan and NBC reporter Ronan Farrow did more than anyone else to expose Hollywood’s dark underbelly. They’re the heroes of the week.

The glass this week is filled to overflowing. I’m going to fill mine with Stella Artois. Have a great weekend!
