WHY I’M PRO-MCMASTER

hr-mcmasterWhat an imbecile President Trump must be!

Dozens of columnists and bloggers have warned Trump his National Security Adviser is plotting a coup, but the president still trusts him.

“General McMaster and I are working very well together,” Trump said Friday (8/04). “He is a good man and very pro-Israel.”

[Note by JW: the claim is that Trump himself said this “in a statement emailed to The New York Times” – but that email has never been published anywhere, nor has Trump tweeted or publicly stated anything like it.  An anonymous “Senior White House official” emailed it.  Fake news?]

Perhaps the president is too timid to confront the nefarious Neocon Globalist.

My favorite Trump anecdote is from Mattis by way of Sen. Lindsey Graham:

Mattis called Trump in April to tell him a U.S. commander wanted to send 50 troops to attack ISIS in a village in Syria.

“Why are you calling me?” Trump asked. “I don’t know where that village is.”

“Well, that’s been the policy for the last eight years,” Mattis said.

“Who wants to do this?” the president asked.

“A major, first in his class at West Point,” Mattis told him.

“What makes you think I know more about it than he does?” Trump said, and hung up the phone.

Every president since Vietnam (even, to a degree, the sainted Reagan) has micro-managed military operations, for fear of bad publicity if something goes wrong.

Not Trump. He delegates authority to commanders in the field, who can act knowing the president has their back if things go south.

That takes big brass balls. Would a prez with such big brass balls be intimidated by anyone on his White House staff?

Be skeptical of everything you read about chaos and dissension in the administration.

Remember the Lying Swine report only negative things about Trump, often make them up.

The Lying Swine expect discord, because they think they’re smart, Trump isn’t.

Trump takes advantage of their bias, expectations and egos by giving them rabbits to chase. All warfare is deception.

It isn’t just leftists who chase rabbits. The fundamental “fact” on which the charge McMaster is plotting a coup is false.

McMaster did not grant former Obama NSA Susan Rice broad access to classified information. He gave Ms. Rice access only to classified documents she “originated, reviewed, signed or received” while serving as NSA.

Ms. Rice would need that access to prepare for testimony to Congress about “unmasking.”

“The letter was a pro forma document similar to those sent to every living former national security adviser and former president – and (McMaster) was required to send it,” Fox News reported.

Read the letter yourself. It’s evident Daniel Greenfield didn’t.

*There’s a reason why those who assert McMaster is “soft” on Iran never cite anything he’s actually said to support the charge.

Mark Dubowitz of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies researched everything McMaster has said about Iran from 2007 on. Here’s what he found.

Dubowitz wants Obama’s Iran deal cancelled ASAP. If Dubowitz thought McMaster was squishy, he’d say so. But this is what he said:

If (McMaster) isn’t tough-minded, I don’t who is.”

McMaster, Mattis and Tillerson allegedly talked Trump out of cancelling the Iran deal…yet. If so, it’s a tactical consideration of when and how to drop the hammer, not whether.

If you think Mattis and Tillerson are part of the Neocon Globalist coup, remember Obama fired Mattis as Cinc CENTCOM because Mattis kept bugging him about Iran.

*Because of the “Religion of Peace” crapola, it’s important that when the president speaks to Americans, he speaks of “Islamist terrorists,” so we’ll understand what motivates these vicious killers.

But our new best friends in the Middle East regard ISIS, al Qaida, et al as heretics – defilers of Islam, not true Muslims.

What’s more important than what we call these terrorists is that we kill them.

Our new best friends – armed with weapons developed in Israel, using tactics pioneered by McMaster at Tal Afar in 2006 – have been killing Islamist terrorists in Iraq and Syria with zest, enthusiasm, and considerable skill.

You may agree with Islamist terrorists that they are the authentic voice of Islam. But what earthly good could come from McMaster telling Saudis, Iraqis, Jordanians et al the terrorists we want them to kill are the true followers of their religion?

*McMaster is “deeply hostile” to Israel, wrote Carolyn Glick. That’s “false and baseless,” say Israeli defense officials.

Anyone who meets McMaster among us and is in contact with him is constantly impressed by how pro-Israel he is,” a security official told Haaretz.

Ms. Glick is a columnist for the Jerusalem Post, but she published this article on her Facebook page, because the JPost wouldn’t print it. Her editors know it isn’t true.

It used to be that if you were pro-Arab, you pretty much had to be anti-Israel. That’s no longer true. Israel and our new best friends are allies. Mr. Greenfield and Ms. Glick need to keep up.

* * * *

Aside from the false claim about Susan Rice, the only acts to “prove” McMaster is plotting a coup is he fired some people Mr. Greenfield likes, replaced them with people he doesn’t like.

Rich Higgins (allegedly) was fired for (allegedly) writing this.

If Higgins did in fact write it, he should have been fired. It’s unquestionably true many in the MSM, and many Democrats, spout Islamist propaganda.

But to claim “every local, national and international level of governance” is using “Islamist attack narratives” is paranoid delusion.

There are three different accounts in the MSM of how McMaster learned of the Higgins memo, and to whom it was circulated, which is why Thomas Wictor thinks it’s cheese in the maze.

Higgins was fired in July. Trump appointed Peter Thiel associate Kevin Harrington “Deputy Assistant to the President for Strategic Planning” Feb. 2nd. Were there two directors of strategic planning?

Ezra Cohen-Watnick was appointed senior director for intelligence programs by former NSA Michael Flynn.

That job customarily is held by a senior CIA officer. Cohen-Watnick came from DIA, is just 31. He must be a prodigy.

I can’t find anything written about Cohen-Watnick before Rep. Devin Nunes launched the “unmasking” controversy.

According to Rosie Gray of the Atlantic, McMaster wanted to move ECW to another position on the NSC staff in March, but Bannon and Kushner intervened on his behalf.

That’s fascinating. Bannon and Kushner allegedly were at each other’s throats in March. If they insisted Cohen-Watnick stay intel director then, why were they meh about ECW in July?

Rosie Gray found info about Cohen-Watnick in high school and college, notes he joined DIA in 2010. After that, pretty much bupkis.

I suspect Flynn brought Cohen-Watnick on to help identify leakers. The job done, ECW is going back to what he does best: spooking.

Foremost among those who call McMaster “traitor” are alt-Right creeps Mike Cernovich and Alex Jones, who had a hissy fit when Trump bombed Syrian dictator Bashir Assad after he used chemical weapons.

The only evidence of Russian “meddling” in the election is Russkie bots on social media. There’s been a 5,300 percent increase in the use of the hashtag “#Fire McMaster” by Russian bots and trolls.

[Note by JW: TTP has recently been hit by a wave of Russian bots too.  Thanks to our cybersecurity team, they’ve been blocked.]

McMaster the top Kremlin target because he knows the threat Putin represents,” said Garry Kasparov.

Trump wants McMaster where he is. So do Mattis and Kelly. It’s the alt-Right and the Russians who want him gone.

Jack Kelly is a former Marine and Green Beret, and was the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force during the Reagan Administration.  Until his retirement in January 2017, he was the national security writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
