HALF-FULL REPORT 12/09/16

trump-air-force-oneGetting tired of winning yet?  Hope not, ‘cause the show is just getting started.

This morning (12/09), the Daily Mail reports in detail how Trump is exactly right in claiming Boeing’s cost for the new Air Force One is over $4 billion.

Even CNBC News had to admit:  Trump’s Air Force One Tweet Was A Brilliant Move.

************

When I called Jack Kelly to thank him for the great HFR he wrote in my absence last week, he told me something I didn’t know – that Marine General and Defense Secretary-designate James “Mad Dog” Mattis has a huge bear rug lying in his living room.

“The thing is,” Jack tells me, “is that the bear isn’t dead – he’s just afraid to move.”

************

Back to Trump’s Tweets.  A personal hero of mine, Dick Cheney, let the cat out of the bag on Saturday (12/04) in an interview with CNN:

“The tweets (are) a way around the press… This is the modern era, modern technology. He’s at the point where we don’t need you guys anymore.”

We don’t need you guys anymore.  The “mainstream” media is no longer mainstream, they’ve been obsoleted, as in toast, history, rear-view-mirror city.

On Tuesday (12/06), Frontpage ran my friend James O’Keefe’s explanation of this:  The Mainstream Media Is Dead – We Won.

James’ Project Veritas secret videos have exposed to the world that the Lying Swine are in fact lying swine.

“These people are such corrupt scum,” he observes. “But the good news is they lost and the facts prove it… we have reached the tipping point in this country, where the social media is now more powerful than the mainstream media.  That’s just the way it is.”

Which means none of us has to let our blood boil over the latest lies and outrages of libtards being broadcast by the Enemedia any longer.  We get to laugh and ignore them instead.

It’s a case of mind over matter:  we no longer mind, because they no longer matter.

************

Here’s a trio of libtard excrescences that needn’t concern you.

First is the Recount Farce.  Of course it’s a fund-raising scam of Jill “Watermelon” Stein – who poses as a Greenie but is really a Commie (green on the outside, red on the inside).

Wisconsin’s recount is a wash, while those in Michigan and Pennsylvania have been blocked by state judges.  You have to wonder why they were, however.

Before any recount, the notoriously corrupt vote-counters in Pennsylvania suddenly declared additional absentee and provisional ballots had shrunk Trump’s lead from 70,000 to 44,000.

Would a recount have revealed just how sleazily that happened?

In Michigan, on Tuesday (12/06) the Detroit News ran this story: Half of Detroit Votes May Be Ineligible for Recount, explaining:

“Michigan’s largest county voted overwhelmingly for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, but officials couldn’t reconcile vote totals for 610 of 1,680 precincts during a countywide canvass of vote results late last month.

Most of those are in heavily Democratic Detroit, where the number of ballots in precinct poll books did not match those of voting machine printout reports in 59 percent of precincts, 392 of 662.”

Almost immediately, judges blocked the recount.  Better concede the state to Trump than have a recount expose massive Dem voter fraud in Detroit, right?

Somehow, I think getting rid of voter fraud is going to be a top priority of Attorney General Sessions.

Second is the Faithless Elector Farce.  Even if the effort could succeed in getting 37 faithless Trump electors (306-269), which is ridiculous, all that would do is throw the election into the House with a Pub majority.  This doesn’t stop Dems from being demonic for a hopeless cause.

Exhibit A is Pennsylvania Secretary of State Pedro Cortes belongs in jail for releasing the names, home addresses and phone numbers of Trump’s electors so leftie thugs can send them death threats.

Third is the California Secession Farce.  Actually, the HFR is all in favor of Calexit – for what it would achieve is not the secession of the entire state as a single political unit, but the breakup of California into at least two or as many as six separate states:  see sixcalifornias.com.  Here’s what that would look like:

sixcalifornias
Libtard elites in Silicon Valley and illegal aliens think they speak for everyone in California.  They don’t.

Tomorrow (12/10), the Pub Senate majority for 2017 will be 52-48.  Pub John Kennedy is going to trounce Dem Foster Campbell in Louisiana.  Those numbers may not last long.

Trump has been courting two red-state Senate Dems, North Dakota’s Heidi Heitkamp and West Virginia’s Joe Manchin.  It’s more likely he’s on a charm offensive to persuade them to switch to being Pubs rather than dangling a Cabinet post.  Either way, scared Dems are begging them to turn Trump down.

No wonder – both Heidi and Joe are up for reelection in 2018.  Trump will go for their hides if they don’t switch.  If you can’t lick ‘em, join ‘em.

An early indication is Manchin on Monday (12/05) warning his fellow Dems not to block Trump’s SCOTUS nominee.

In 2018, 33 Senate seats will be up and it’s not looking good for the jackasses:  25 Dems and only 8 Pubs.  Peruse the list in the link and you’ll see, this is a target-rich environment.  Trump and Pence will campaign hard against vulnerable Dems, taking them down like lions after the weakest wildebeests.

We could be saying adios to Indiana’s Joe Donnelly, Michigan’s Debbie Stabenow, Missouri’s Claire McCaskill, Montana’s Jon Tester, Ohio’s Sherrod Brown, Virginia’s Tim Kaine, Washington’s Maria Cantwell, and Wisconsin’s Tammy Baldwin.

Something to look forward to.

************

It’s wonderful that we’ve already said good riddance to Dirty Harry Reid, the most obnoxious and deceitful Senator of modern times. But he gave the nicest going-away present to the Pubs.  Three years ago, he manipulated Senate rules to eliminate filibustering Zero’s nominees.

No 60 votes necessary, just 51 for a nominee to skate.  Senate Pubs are now laughing their heads off at Chuckie Schumer’s angst, because McConnell of course is keeping Harry’s “nuclear option”, so Sessions and everyone else is home free.

Now, if McConnell wanted to prove he’s really a good guy, he’d call a special session of the Senate immediately after the 115th Congress is sworn in and convenes by noon on January 3rd to confirm Trump’s nominees en masse.

I.e., before the Inauguration on January 20, so Trump enters the Oval Office with his Cabinet already confirmed and in place.

One of the very best Cabinet choices Trump made this week was Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt for EPA.  For why, check out this Daily Mail freak out headline:

Trump picks EPA chief who doesn’t believe humans cause global warming as he prepares to shrink agency and slash oil and gas drilling regulations

How good can you get?  Well, how about retired Marine 4-star John Kelly for Homeland Security?

Even though he’s no relation to our Jack Kelly, as a fellow Marine our Kelly thinks he’s absolute aces upon whom you can solidly depend to protect our borders from illegal invasion and so much else.

Then there’s Ben Carson tapped for Housing & Urban Development, the only HUD leader who has ever lived in public housing.  Dems are apoplectic as HUD is one of their main gravy trains and know that Carson will send much of it to the roundhouse.

But let’s focus on a very revealing quote in the WaPo link above:

“Carson is receiving counsel from Alphonso Jackson, HUD secretary under President George W. Bush, who has suggested he rely heavily on the department’s professional staff to help him set priorities when he takes over the agency. ‘We have discussed that over the last couple of weeks,’ Jackson said in an interview. ‘The Senior Executive Service people at HUD are extremely intelligent and valuable to any secretary, if he will listen to them’.”

The UniParty exposed buck naked.  This is exactly what Carson should not do.

It should be Job #1 of any Cabinet head to start gutting the “professional staff” of bureaucrats starting at the top.  These folks are our Unelected Rulers who really run the federal government and our lives.

This is the UniParty in action, to protect and preserve the Federal Bureaucracy as the controlling fourth branch of government.  Trump should target it with both barrels.

Now a word on Andy Puzder.  A lot of conservatives are griping so much about his being “pro-immigration” that they started a #NeverPuzder hashtag on Twitter.

But before you decide he’s a bad guy, take a moment to consider what “Sundance” at Conservative Tree House says:

Why Donald Trump, and American Workers, Need Andrew Puzder as Secretary of Labor

It’s a thoughtful argument explaining, by someone who knows the system well, how federal agencies force businesses to hire illegals.  It’s revelatory in detail, a must-read.  He concludes:

“I can totally understand how President-elect Donald Trump needs Andrew Puzder’s specific skill-set to balance an issue of immigration enforcement, and still allow business interests to function while navigating their way through the painstaking process of rebuilding their workforce.

Most people have no idea how many illegals are working in America. It would blow your mind.   When you’ve never signed the front of a paycheck under these circumstances it’s easy to be a critic, or an author of an opinion article.”

And a note on Secretary of State.

My sources tell me that the Democrat in the Trump family, Jared Kushner (Ivanka’s husband), is adamantly pushing for Romney, while Mike Pence is courteously but effectively pushing for John Bolton.  Dana Rohrabacher has an advocate in Pence as well.

Rudy Giuliani has faded because of his drinking problem, to which Trump is very sensitive.  Rudy hasn’t been seen in a couple of weeks now, and many suspect he’s in an AA-type program to quit.

Trump is still searching.  Today (12/09), Kellyanne Conway announced that Ford CEO Alan Mullaly is now in the mix, along with Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson and those mentioned above.  He’s very serious about this, his most important cabinet pick, taking his time as he should.

One indication is a comment Trump made yesterday (12/08) at his “Thank You, Iowa!” rally in Des Moines.  The (Capitol) Hill quoted him:

“One newspaper criticized me, ‘Why can’t we have people of modest means?’  It’s because I want people that made a fortune. Because now they’re negotiating with you. These people are giving up fortunes of income in order to make a dollar a year, and they’re so proud to do it.”

He is picking the most successful people with the most expertise in the real world, not the government or academic world, be they in business or the military.  That’s his preference and he’s to be lauded for that.

Equally critical, he doesn’t give a rat’s derrière about envy.  The envious enemedia yells and screams about “going back to the Gilded Age,” but he doesn’t care and neither do we.

************

The snarky libtard putzes at TIME Magazine backhandedly awarded Trump “Person of the Year 2016” yesterday (12/08), identifying him as “President of the divided states of America.”  Good grief, what ungracious schmucks.

For the HFR, the Hero of the Year award must be bestowed upon Kellyanne Conway.  Trump’s campaign was headed towards full meltdown until Trump kicked out the execrable Paul Manafort and placed Kellyanne as his campaign manager on August 17.

To Trump’s full credit, he took Kellyanne’s advice and critiques to change his campaign around.  So much for his being a misogynist.  It was Kellyanne who saved his campaign and put him on the path for victory.  The HFR believes that it is thanks to Kellyanne Conway that Donald J. Trump – and not Hillary Clinton – will be the 45th President of the United States.

America is in her deepest debt.  Thank Providence for Kellyanne Conway, the HFR Hero of the Year.

We have to close with an announcement.  The To The Point Rendezvous XV has been postponed and repositioned.

With the entire direction of the country changing momentously, we were too precipitate to hold RXV just one week after the Inauguration.  And Las Vegas is not the place for it – it’s got to be in the heart of the change, Washington DC.

We will wait until early Spring in order to assemble the best insider speakers to provide the real scoop on what Trump and Capitol Hill is doing to most effect us.

We’ll be shooting for mid-March.  We plan to have the best Rendezvous TTP has ever had, appropriate for the history-in-the-making that lies ahead and helping you to best prepare for it.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.

OK – one last tidbit of cool news.  Macy’s Has Stopped Its Funding of Planned Parenthood.

Do you think that would ever have happened if The PIAPS had won?  This is but one small ripple of The Trump Effect.  The times they are a-changing, all for the better.
