HALF-FULL REPORT 08/05/16

We start with a prayer.  A year ago, we learned TTP’s Jack Kelly was diagnosed with multiple myeloma cancer and had but a few months to live.  We asked you to pray for him.  Jack is alive and well today.

This week we learned that TTPer Edd Forke’s wife Dona has been diagnosed with Stage IV pancreatic cancer.  You know Edd through his many marvelous comments on the Forum.  He has become a personal friend to many, including me.  Let’s put prayer to work for him and Dona.  You can be sure they’ll read and appreciate any expression of support on the Forum.  Thanks…

Laughter is considered the best medicine, and is also often the most effective criticism.  The Laugh of the Week took place in the tiny hamlet of Arcadia, Iowa – population 460, halfway between Des Moines and Sioux City.

Last Saturday (7/30), the Arcadia Fire Department celebrated its 100^th birthday with a parade.  Two local fellows, Kyle Julin and Josh Reetz, decided to make a float, so they made a cage looking like a prison cell, with another friend, Adam Corky, inside wearing an orange prison jump suit and a mask.  Kyle, dressed as Uncle Sam, towed it through town.

Josh passed out hundreds of water balloons for folks and their kids to throw at and douse Adam – which they joyously did.  Adam’s mask, you see, was that of Hillary Clinton, and the float had a big placard, “Hillary for Prison – 2016.”

Now that’s funny.  Even funnier was the Lying Swine Media’s coverage of it.  As we’ll see below, the LSM had a total meltdown this week over Trump’s inability to take criticism.  Yet this gag float in a town of less than 500 people in the middle of Flyover Nowheresville made the LSM go ballistic.

On Wednesday (8/03), the New York Times scathingly denounced it as “disrespectful of women.”  Libtards really are retarded – for, how sexist can you get?  We have to vote for the PIAPS because she’s a woman, and any criticism of her is only because she’s a woman?  Nothing could possibly be more sexist.

Yesterday (8/04), the London Daily Mail headlined the story all over the world how “Democrats Slam ‘Mean’ Parade Float.”

Wow… Trump’s vindictiveness over criticism is the tiniest prairie dog mound compared to the giant volcano of the Lying Swine that erupts when some guys in a farm town in Iowa poke fun at their idol.

And what an exposure of naked vulnerability – that the Lying Swine and the Democrats can dish it out, but they can’t take it.  Hillary for Prison is a meme that really drives them nuts.  It is sexist to say Hillary can’t be criticized because she’s a woman would be another.

These are memes that have to be everywhere.  The preposterousness of her candidacy has to be ridiculed everywhere – for she really is “Crooked Hillary,” and she really does belong in prison for the criminality of the Clinton Foundation, if nothing else.

(A note, by the way, on Arcadia, Iowa.  This is no dying rural town full of geezers whose kids have fled for urban delights.  Note how young it is, 12 years younger than Iowa’s median age, and how its median household income is higher than Iowa’s average.  This is a happy youthful town!)

On Monday (8/01), the WaPo ran an op-ed by Bob Kagan entitled, “There Is Something Very Wrong with Donald Trump.”  The sad truth is, Kagan’s right:

“A normal politician knows that no matter how much criticism gets under the skin, the thing to do is to smile and wave it off. You don’t have to mean it. You don’t even have to appear to mean it. But it is what you do, if only to avoid compounding the damage. Trump cannot make this simple self-serving calculation. He must attack everyone who opposes him… he is unable to control his responses to criticism. He must double down every time, even if it means digging himself deeper and deeper into the hole.”

Yesterday (8/04), NBCNews reported, “Trump Pushes Republican Party to Breaking Point.”  I’ve been privy to private emails between heavy Pub hitters that say exactly the same thing.  These are guys who desperately want Trump to win and prevent a PIAPS Presidency.  Here are some quotes:

“Trump is mentally and emotionally stuck in the 5th grade on social behavior… yesterday (8/02), he had a crying baby removed from a rally, at first people thought he was kidding but he was serious.
I know for a fact that a number of people who are advising him are about to jump ship as everything they work hard on as policy points gets thrown out by Trump. There’s so much to attack, the economy, Obamacare, attacks on cops, the division in this nation.  Instead Trump has created chaos inside and out of his campaign.

 

Trump is to political suicide what China is to corruption.  I have never seen in my almost thirty years of politics someone who’s so intent on destroying everything in his way regardless of its consequences.

 

While I come from the school of Reagan optimism, unless Trump does a 180 and gets back to what’s important and what’s at hand, I will focus my energies in down ticket races, and suggest you do the same.  The only backstop we have to Clinton’s America is a Republican House and Senate.”

This is exactly what I’ve been warning TTPers for many months.  That Trump is a seriously flawed nominee, and virtually the only major Pub candidate who could lose to Hillary.

You’ll never see, of course, Bob Kagan write a WaPo essay on, There Is Something Very Wrong with Hillary Clinton.  Yet on the same day as Kagan’s (8/01), The Atlantic’s Ron Fournier – a Dem devotee – came close with “Why Can’t Hillary Clinton Stop Lying?”

There is something very wrong with her, mentally and morally.  Fournier is exactly right when he says, “With Clinton and Trump, the two most unpopular presidential candidates in the modern era, there is no equivalence.”  Except, with typical libtard looniness, he gets it exactly backwards.

That’s why Trump’s behavior is so maddeningly frustrating to Giuliani, Gingrich, and every other Pub heavyweight.  Especially now, with the Lying Swine making herculean efforts to magnify every Trump gaffe in order to cover up Obama-Clinton scandals.

The revolting spectacle of Dem operative and Sharia law advocate Khizr Khan, with his wife in a hijab silently next to him like a wooden Indian, was handed to Trump on a platter – as pointed out by USMC vet  Chris Mark in a blistering take down of Khan:

“Does it matter whether Mr. Trump has sacrificed ‘…nothing and no one?’…has Ms. Clinton ‘sacrificed’ for this nation?  How about Mr. Obama?  I am troubled that you would allow a party that has little more than contempt for the US Service Member to parade you into the DNC to denounce Donald Trump.

 

Did you watch when protesters at the DNC booed and heckled Medal of Honor recipient  Capt. Florent Groberg? Did you notice your party interrupting the moment of silence for slain police officers?  Your own hypocrisy in not denouncing these acts and instead using the DNC as a platform to make a political point is disgraceful.”

But no, Trump has to lash out personally and claim “I made plenty of sacrifices,” causing ruthless lampooning on every social media along with the Lying Swine in a frenzy over Trump’s “vicious attacks on a Gold Star family.”

Thus the Lying Swine succeeded in covering up the PIAPS’ outright evil in lying to the Gold Star families of those killed in Benghazi thanks to her incompetence and indifference.  Thus it was a shock to a CNN libtard trying to get the father of Tyrone Woods to say Trump should apologize to a Gold Star parent as he is – and have Charles Woods respond:

“I know who should apologize and that would be Hillary Clinton, for lying to the American families who lost their loved ones, as well as to the American public… You know, when Hillary Clinton on several occasions has called Benghazi victims’ families liars, should she apologize for that?”

The breaking news of the week is Wednesday’s (8/03) revelation that Zero secretly paid $400 million cash to ransom American hostages in Iran.

One immediate question is: where and how did he get the money “flown into Iran on wooden pallets stacked with Swiss francs, euros and other currencies?”  Supposedly, it was “procured from central banks in Switzerland and the Netherlands.”  Procured – by whom and under what authority?  Charles Krauthammer has no doubt:  it was criminal money-laundering by Obama:

“There is a statute that prohibits us from engaging in Iran dealing with dollars, so they had to print the money here, ship it over to Switzerland, turn it into Swiss francs and euros, and ship it over to Iran. If a private company had done this, it is called money laundering. The CEO would be in jail right now.”

And so should President Zero, just like Mrs. Clinton, but no joy there.  The Democrat Party is an organized crime syndicate protected by a Lying Swine Media, a corrupt Justice Department, and a Dem-controlled judiciary.   That’s what Trump is up against, with his room temperature Emotional IQ tying one hand behind his back.

Let’s brighten your day with this news: Dem Congresswoman Receives Eviction Notice.  The base salary of all Members of Congress is $174,000 a year plus a plethora of freebie benefits.  And this lady can’t pay her rent?  But note – the funniest part of the story is her picture.  She’s testifying at some House hearing (you can see Dem House Whip Steny Hoyer behind her) – and she’s wearing a newspaper as a dress.  Your tax dollars at work.

Even better news.  This headline on Wednesday (8/03): Supreme Court blocks transgender student from using boys’ bathroom.  A girl named Caitlyn Hope Grimm, who now “identifies as male” and insists on being called Gavin, sued her county school board for not letting her use the boy’s bathroom at Gloucester High School in Virginia.

In April, the 4^th Circuit agreed with her, but now SCOTUS doesn’t.  That included Stephen Breyer’s spasm of rationality in a 5-3 decision.

Also uplifting is the awareness that all the garbage of this week took place in early August.  We’re in the Dog Days of Summer when the media will spazz out in tizzy after tizzy.  From here to November 8 is several centuries in political time.

The goal is to prevent a PIAPS Presidency.  We have a seriously flawed candidate, but she is far more flawed, far more disliked, far more unlikeable, and evil to boot.  This race is far – light years far – from being over.

On Wednesday (8/03), Esquire magazine ran an interview with Clint Eastwood and his son Scott.  You have to scroll down about halfway to get to the good stuff:

Has Trump practiced your scowl? “Maybe.  But he’s onto something, because secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now. We’re really in a pussy generation. Everybody’s walking on eggshells.”

What about Hillary?  “What about her? I mean, it’s a tough voice to listen to for four years.”

If the choice is between her and Trump, what do you do?  “That’s a tough one, isn’t it? I’d have to go for Trump … you know, ’cause she’s declared that she’s gonna follow in Obama’s footsteps.”
