HALF-FULL REPORT 06/03/16

What was it that Henry Kissinger said about the war between Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and Ayatollah Khomeini’s Iran (1980-1988)?

“It’s a pity both sides can’t lose.”

That’s exactly the way I and millions of my fellow Americans feel right now.  We want a pox on both the Pub and Dem parties – and their voters insistent on shoving the two worst presidential candidates of our lifetimes down our throats.

The only time either His Hairness or Her Shrillness ever tell the truth is when they are lambasting each other – as they did yesterday (6/02).

She is “Crooked Hillary,” she is “guilty as hell,” she does “belong in jail,” just as he claimed at his rally in San Jose.

It’s true that “Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different – they are dangerously incoherent. They’re not even really ideas – just a series of bizarre rants, personal feuds, and outright lies… (that) he says he has foreign policy experience because he ran the Miss Universe pageant in Russia… (that) he has no ideas on education, no ideas on innovation; he has a lot of ideas about who to blame, but no clue about what to do” – as she claimed in a rally in San Diego.

At San Diego, she delivered a foreign policy address.  In San Jose, he delivered a rant.  Hers was substantive.  His was substance-free.  Strip away all the self-serving prevarications about how qualified she is, and hers is a speech that should have been given by Rubio or Cruz or Walker or Perry or Jindal exposing Trump for what he is.

But none of them did.  Any of them would be an almost infinitely better candidate, but none of them had the nerve to say:

“Imagine him deciding whether to send your spouses or children into battle. Imagine if he had not just his Twitter account at his disposal when he’s angry, but America’s entire arsenal.  Do we want him making those calls – someone thin-skinned and quick to anger, who lashes out at the smallest criticism? Do we want his finger anywhere near the button?”

Nor do we want hers.  At both rallies yesterday, their worshippers cheered their hero.  Meanwhile, 40% of the electorate want little or nothing to do with either Pubs or Dems, classifying themselves as Independent.  Small wonder why.

On Sunday (5/29), HuffPo ran a story headlined: Hillary Clinton to be Indicted on Federal Racketeering Charges.

You won’t find it anymore on the site as it’s been deleted – but not before it was preserved by a webpage capture site, archive.is (based in Iceland).  Most interesting is the claim that FBI Director Comey will focus not just on her email scandal but on what’s even worse, namely :

“the Clinton Foundation is an ongoing criminal enterprise engaged in money laundering and soliciting bribes in exchange for political, policy and legislative favors to individuals, corporations and even governments both foreign and domestic.”

No doubt whatever Trump is right, she belongs in jail.  No wonder that the Clinton’s former pollster, Doug Schoen, said on Wednesday (6/01) that “Hillary May Not Be the Dem Nominee.”

The rubber will meet the road, he notes, next Tuesday (6/07) – for if she loses the California Primary to Crazy Bernie (most polls this week show they are virtually tied), then her candidacy may be “eviscerated.”

I remain firmly convinced there will be what Jack Kelly calls today the Biden Switcheroo.  He has his doubts, while I have far fewer.

One reason is that while Pub convention delegates are “bound” – meaning they are required to vote for the candidate who won their primary and if they don’t their vote won’t be recorded – Dem delegates are only “pledged.”

The official wording in the DNC’s 2016 delegate selection rules handbook is: “Delegates elected to the national convention pledged to a presidential candidate shall in all good conscience reflect the sentiments of those who elected them.”

Which means they are fully free to not vote for the candidate to whom they are “pledged” if their “good conscience” tells them that candidate can’t win in November.

Mr. Kelly suspects that, among other things, the threat of Bernie “going Green” – being the Green Party nominee and splitting the Dem vote a lá Ralph Nader in 2000 (causing Algore to lose) will prevent the Biden Switcheroo.

I think it almost guarantees it – providing Biden sells out Fauxcahontas and pays off Bernie by making him his running mate.  Biden-Bernie 2016.  Don’t be at all surprised if that’s the Dem ticket – a ticket by the way that will eviscerate Trump.

Trump’s evisceration, in fact, began in earnest this week.  On Tuesday (5/31), the New York Times ran a front-page, above-the-fold exposé on the scam of Trump University.  It’s devastating because it quotes Trump employees in sworn testimony given in a lawsuit by students defrauded by the TU scam.  E.g.:

“I believe that Trump University was a fraudulent scheme,” Mr. Schnackenberg wrote in his testimony, “and that it preyed upon the elderly and uneducated to separate them from their money.”

Jason Nicholas, a sales executive at Trump University, recalled a deceptive pitch used to lure students — that Mr. Trump would be “actively involved” in their education. “This was not true,” Mr. Nicholas testified, saying Mr. Trump was hardly involved at all. Trump University, Mr. Nicholas concluded, was “a façade, a total lie.”

“A façade, a total lie” – an apt description of Trump’s presidential campaign as well.

Yesterday (6/02), the New Yorker magazine followed up with: Trump University – It’s Worse Than You Think.  Or:  How Trump University Suckered Its Victims. The focus here is on the TU “Playbooks” of instructions to TU salesmen how to con and scam potential customers.

It’s devastating and revolting, to all of which Trump Cultists will be oblivious.  They instead follow Trump’s call to kill the messenger.

Trump’s response to the exposing of his scam was a jeremiad attacking the federal judge who ordered the release of the court records (testimony and playbooks, over 1,000 pages) in the lawsuit – US District Judge Gonzalo Curiel.

In a 12-minute stream of vitriol, Trump called Judge Curiel “a hater… a hater… a hater who should be ashamed of himself.”  Then he issued a thinly-veiled threat to the judge.  Calling for a federal investigation of him, he said:  “We’ll come back in November. Wouldn’t that be wild if I’m president and I come back to do a civil case?”

Reason Magazine stated the obvious: “Just imagine, Trump effectively warned Judge Curiel, what will happen to you if you rule against me after I’m elected president.

I’ve been warning for a year now, the man is a fascist thug.  That’s getting more clear by the day.  And just to be more clear, by performing such a courageous public service releasing sworn testimony and official sales documents exposing a presidential aspirant as a crooked con man, Judge Gonzalo Curiel is the HFR Hero of the Week.

Now let’s talk about madness.  One definition of it is a pathological estrangement from or denial of reality.  This headline of Wednesday (6/01) has to qualify:  Obama Says He Is Not to Blame for Transgender Bathroom Issue.

Of course, he never accepts blame or responsibility for anything, so we shouldn’t be shocked – but this is simply deranged, as he’s the cause of the federalie fascisti forcing this lunacy upon us.  And literal lunacy it is.

So says Distinguished Service Professor of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins University and former Psychiatrist-in-Chief at Johns Hopkins Hospital Paul R. McHugh.  In a CNSNews article on Dr. McHugh yesterday (6/02), he states it clearly:  “Support of Transgenderism and Sex-Change Surgery Is Collaborating with Madness.”

Having clinically studied transgenderism and worked with patients suffering from it for 40 years, he leaves no doubt that it is a “mental illness,” resulting in “prolonged misery and distress” if not treated.

Especially, he says, among children.  Which means that anyone who purposefully enables it among them is guilty of child abuse and should be prosecuted accordingly.  Thus the bureaucrats who run Washington State’s Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) should be so prosecuted.

Here’s the headline of ereyesterday (6/01) explaining why:  Washington State to Teach Transgenderism to Kindergartners.

The OSPI’s K-12 Health Education Glossary defines “gender” as “a social construct.”  This is precisely what Dr. McHugh considers madness.  Your gender is defined by your chromosomes, not a mental disorder.  “Transgendered men don’t become women,” he says, they become female impersonators.”

Isn’t it time for parents to put an end to this?  What parent condones child abuse?  Should parents who permit their children to be abused be considered accessories to the crime?  Certainly it is time for this madness to end.

It’s time for the Headline Laugh of the Week.  If anything can top the one above on Zero and bathrooms, it’s this:  Venezuelan Socialist Strongman Maduro Endorses Bernie Sanders.

I bash Trumpkins for letting their anger override their reason and moral values, but I sure can understand their anger and frustration because I have to work to keep it in check myself.

But to be a BernieBot?  That’s just sheer mindless stupidity for which there is no possible excuse.

BSwantstobePS
Last week, Venezuela’s Maduro declared a State of Emergency and ordered the state seizure of factories because, he said, “the economy is being paralyzed by the bourgeoisie.”

This week, as the New York Times reports, the country is in a state of almost total collapse – no food, no medicine, no electricity, the government is simply shutting down.  Venezuela is a failed state.

No wonder, when a Univision reporter asked Bernie what he thought about the failure of socialism in Venezuela, he was speechless and refused to answer the question.

It’s no laughing matter at all, however, that this anti-American pro-Communist loon may very well be the next Vice-President of the United States.

Remember, power comes first to Democrats, not their country.  To keep the White House, they will push the PIAPS off a cliff in a picosecond if they think that’s what it takes, and put up Biden-Bernie instead.

I see it coming, folks.  I could be wrong and heaven knows I have been before, but we’ve got to brace for it because the Trumpster won’t stand a chance against it.

We’ve got to close with good happy news after that, and here it is.

I’m overjoyed to report that after a horrific struggle of many months since last year, Jack Kelly has won his battle with terminal cancer.

His blood tests now indicate the amount of cancer that remains is so negligible as to virtually constitute remission.  He’s getting stronger every day.  And should it flare up, he tells me that there have been breathtaking new developments for treating this type of cancer.  Jack Kelly is one tough Marine.

He wants TTPers to know how much your prayers have meant to him and his wife Pam.  This good news is in large part due to you.  “The odds now,” he reports, “are that I’ll live long enough for my granddaughter Holly Lynne to develop some fond memories of her grandpa.”

You don’t get better news than that.

The addendum is that I leave for my Hidden Pacific expedition next week, and that Jack Kelly will once again be writing the HFR in my absence.

I so appreciate Rod Martin for helming the HFR when I was gone, and now Jack Kelly when I will be.  Meanwhile, I’ll be reporting from wherever I am.  For we now live in more interesting times than ever.
