HALF-FULL REPORT 10/09/15

Lurch Lost. You can hear the wailing and gnashing of teeth on the 7^th Floor of Foggy Bottom all the way across the Potomac.

John F’n Kerry was glued to the big flat screen in his palatial office at 5:01am this morning – 11:01am Oslo time – expecting to watch Kaci Kullman Five, Chairlady of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, announce him along with his BTF (Best Terrorist Friend), Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, winner of the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize.

It was supposed to be his crowning achievement, the same consolation prize that Algore got for being cheated out of the presidency by the Evil George Bush. For a man possessed of such towering egomaniacal arrogance that it equals or even succeeds Zero’s, it was a crushing humiliation to learn the winner instead was a group of Tunisians no one had ever heard of.

Kerry-Zarif was considered the top contender for the Peace Prize, along with Pope Francis and Angela Merkel. The prize would have provided a halo of moral protection around Zero’s Iran Sellout, and a severe if not mortal blow to arguments against it.

Thus there are celebrations today in Israel just as joyous as in Tunisia, for the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to four civic groups collectively called the National Dialogue Quartet.

It’s an excellent choice in itself, and a dramatic rebuff to purveyors of Islamist intolerance and terrorism, Iran in particular. Tunisia is one country in which the Arab Spring is succeeding, and that’s due to the Tunisian people epitomized by the new Laureates. Note the present tense – the terrorists of ISIS et al are still targeting Tunisia.

You learned about how the Arab Spring originated in Tunisia in American Spring last year (April 2014). The vaunted Arab Spring has failed in many places, most dramatically in Syria, Yemen and Libya. There are two exceptions. One is Egypt.

Egypt’s Fattah al-Sisi has rescued his country from the Moslem Brotherhood and is now a solid ally of Israel. Sisi is overtly protecting Egypt’s Coptic Christians.  Here’s the latest example: http://www.al-monitor.com/puls…..tion.html#

Because Zero’s on the side of the Moslem Brotherhood and against Christians, Jews, and Israel, Zero hates Sisi – so gets the press to demonize him. Sisi is arguably the bravest leader on earth today.  This coming spring I hope to be taking a group of TTPers to Cairo to meet him.

The other exception was made obvious to the world today. The Tunisians want freedom and democracy, not Islamist tyranny. They have earned their Peace Prize. And the Norwegian Nobel Committee is the HFR Hero of the Week

Let’s stay international for a moment.

This satirical portrayal of Angela Merkel as “Moslem Merkel” with the Reichstag surrounded by minarets has got the panties of every German libweenie in a twist. It was shown on ARD television to scandalize masochistic Germans welcoming the Moslem invasion of their country created by Merkel, and it succeeded.

Merkel’s invasion is expected to top over one million Moslems by the end of the year. Thankfully, an organization called PEGIDA – the German acronym for Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West – is organizing huge protest rallies demanding the “refugees” be sent home.

On Monday (10/05), at least 9,000 showed up in Dresden. “Merkel is guilty of ethnocide of the German people,” declared one banner. “Islam is Europe’s Suicide,” declared another. The protests are growing and spreading. Let’s hope they do for Europe’s sake.

The latest international mystery is how ISIS has acquired all those shiny new Toyota SUVs. ABC (10/06) can’t figure it out. The New York Daily News says (10/07) both the US government and Toyota in Japan are “stumped.”

This is Lying Swine journalism at its coverup best. Of course Langley and Toyota Global knows exactly where they’re coming from and how ISIS got them – just like everyone else on the ground in the region: from Turkey, sold to ISIS by Erdogan’s government.

The government of Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the creator, enabler, and sponsor of ISIS. No wonder Russian jets are flying into Turkey, as they did on Monday (10/05). To defeat an insurgency, you have to be willing to attack their sanctuary, and Erdogan is providing that sanctuary.

Erdogan is a Sunni Moslem fanatic and hates Assad who’s aligned with the Shias of Iran. ISIS of course is Sunni and anti-Assad.

Putin’s goal in Syria is straightforward. Support Assad to keep the Russian naval base in Tartus (the only one on the Med), support Iran’s Shias against ISIS Sunnis, humiliate Zero and America in the process. Seems to be working so far.

Closer to home, there’s a fascinating Fox News Latino story Tuesday (10/06) on Jaime “El Bronco” Rodriguez, the new governor of Nuevo Leon, Mexico’s most prosperous state. (Monterrey is the capital – note in the map how another state perversely wraps around it so it only has a 9-mile long border with the US).

El Bronco is a gutsy guy, an independent out to rid his state of corruption, cronyism, and drug cartels (the latter have made several attempts on his life). Let’s hope he lasts long enough for President Cruz to help him out in his goals.

The story contains a number of revealing tidbits about Mexico. Who knew more people in Mexico own a television than a refrigerator? Whoa… Also, Mexico is crony capitalism on ultra-steroids, an ultimate corporatist state. It’s the reason why the world’s richest man (behind Bill Gates) is Mexican, Carlos Slim worth over $71 billion, while the vast majority of Mexicans live in dirt-floor poverty.

If Cruz could enable El Bronco and people like him to bust up Mexican corporatism and enable free market capitalism to create widespread prosperity for Mexico’s impoverished millions, we wouldn’t have to worry about our current flood of illegals. They’ll be flooding back to Mexico to make a good living in their own country.

OK, back to home. Arnie Steinberg sure called it in TTP on Monday (10/05), when he said Kevin McCarthy should withdraw from the race for Speaker. McCarthy did so yesterday (10/08). His gaffe on Benghazi, as Arnie explained, was irreparable.

Rich Lowry describes the House Pubs this morning (10/09) as “scorpions in a bottle.” Except that one of them is a pussy without any claws. House conservatives despise the establishment elite for their spineless refusal to stand up to Zero, while the elite hate the conservatives for telling the truth about them.

The House conservatives have got tens of millions of regular Americans behind them. The Elite has got the US Chamber of Crony Commerce, planning to spend $100 million to defeat conservatives in office next year.

Paul Ryan is a conservative apostate and has sold out to the elite – so he’s now Boehner’s choice. The conservatives have to coalesce behind someone quickly. Jason Chaffetz has a Heritage conservative voting score of 81%. Dan Webster’s is 77%.   Ed Royce, Arnie’s favorite, is 64%.

Chaffetz is the highest in the running, but there are 24 House Pubs with a 90% or higher rating. Of them, I’d pick Jim Jordan.

(As an aside, the Liberty Score used by many like Breitbart, is garbage. E.g., Keith Ellison, the Moslem hyper-lib Dem has a higher rating (56%) than Jason Chaffetz (55%)!)

The elite is desperate to preserve their perks and power. The right scorpion in the bottle needs to win this one. Breitbart made the stakes clear this afternoon. The most lividly open-borders guy in Congress, Democrat Louis Gutierrez, has endorsed Paul Ryan for Speaker.

A Vote for Paul Ryan Is a Vote for Amnesty, is the headline. Which is why the GOP Elite is going full tilt for Ryan – and why he must not be Speaker.

Here’s one good reason of many to back Jim Jordan. On Tuesday (10/06), he predicted the House will impeach IRS Commissioner John Koskinen next spring. It’s a start!

Here’s a heads up! Next Tuesday (10/13) will be the first Dem presidential candidate debate – it’ll be between the PIAPS, Bernie Sanders, Martin O’Malley, Lincoln Chaffee, and Jim Webb. SloJoe is a noshow.

Everyone is expecting the main event will be Hillary and Bernie duking it out. Chaffee is a squishy nebbish no one will pay attention to, O’Malley will try to horn in ever so often – but here’s a prediction: Jim Webb will steal the show. He will nail Hillary to the wall. It should be fun.

Regarding the PIAPS and a lot more, a must-watch this week is Alex Jones’ interview of Matt Drudge on Tuesday (10/06). Drudge refuses to come on-camera, instead all you hear is his voice. You’ll get such a kick over his riff on Her Shrillness.

“Why aren’t we seeing Hillary’s lovers? There’s a (media) coverup on this.” He means, of course, her lesbian lovers like Huma Abedin as she’s bisexual.

The media is trying to make “this country so completely altered (that) we’re left with Hillary’s brain in the Oval Office in a jar. That’s what we’re getting. She is old and she’s sick. She is not a contender. They’re making her a contender with these propped up Saturday Night Live things; it’s like a head on a stick. And then on the Today show — a head on a stick.”

“I’m very pessimistic on this race, because I’m just not so sure it’s not gonna end up with the dreaded brain in the jar in the Oval Office once known as Hillary Clinton, who is hypothyroid–anybody who is 70 years old who is hypothyroid, you do not elect President, ladies and gentlemen. You don’t do it…”

Bernie Sanders? “Also old. Old! Can’t the Democrats find anybody under the age of 70? What is this oldness in a vibrant country that needs to go forward to a new century?”

And hurray for TTP’s favorite Texan, Ted Cruz for destroying the Sierra Club president in a Senate hearing Wednesday (10/07). Mark Steyn rightly called Cruz’s performance “A thing of beauty.”

Update: Just as this HFR is closing, CNN ran this afternoon Ted Cruz’s How the US Must Push Back Putin in Syria. While it’s a must read, the real solution is a president who will implement what it takes to do this. Obviously that’s not Zero, which is why Putin is taking maximum advantage of our Wimp in the White House now.

We’ll close with a personal note. Although he passed on many years ago (1980), I can hear my father’s laughter and see his smile as I read this story: Harvard Debate Team Loses to Prison Inmates.

Realize that Harvard’s debate team is the current US national champion, and the world champion among all universities on the planet. Yet they lost to a bunch of convicts in a maximum-security prison in Napanoch, New York.

So why is my Dad laughing? Because he was the Captain of the Debate Team at Stanford University in the 1930s. And I remember him telling me that the toughest debate he and his team ever had was with the prisoners at San Quentin.

He thought, as perhaps the Harvard students did, they were up against some stupid criminals. Big surprise. They were very very smart, very very well prepared, and utterly ruthless in their attack.

It taught my Dad a lesson he never forgot – never ever underestimate an opponent, most especially a dangerous one. A lesson we all should take to heart, for ourselves personally, and for our country regarding its enemies – foreign and domestic.
