HALF-FULL REPORT 05/08/15

This was the winning entry in the Draw Mohammed Contest in Garland, Texas last weekend.  It was drawn by artist Bosch Fawstin, who was raised by a hate-filled "moderate" Moslem family in Brooklyn, and abandoned Islam after reading Ayn Rand.  There’s an informative interview of him in Breitbart (5/06).

Fawstin was one of the 300 attendees of the contest that a pair of Moslem retards – let’s abbreviate that to "motards," like we do with "libtards" for both are morally retarded – were attempting to mass murder and were thankfully gunned down before they could.

Jack Kelly’s appellation for the libtard media is The Lying Swine, and their reaction to the motard terrorism at Garland perfectly shows why. Instead of condemning the terrorists, they hysterically condemned the woman who organized the contest for "provoking" them.

One laughable example is the actual WaPo headline: "Event organizer offers no apology after thwarted attack in Texas."

You can easily lose count of libtard journalists pompously denouncing Pam Geller’s "provocation" by saying, "I support free speech, but…"  Frankly, you expect that from The Lying Swine.  What we don’t expect is the same cowardice from conservative talking heads, like Bill O’Reilly, Laura Ingraham, and Greta Van Sustern.

I’ve gotten into arguments with friends who like O’Reilly while I’ve always thought he’s a bullying horse’s ass – but I’ve never thought he was yellow until now.  Thank heavens for Megyn Kelly who shut him down Monday night (5/04).

The must-read on this is Karen McQuillan’s Conservative Pundits for Sharia.  An excerpt:

To claim that drawing Mohammed is an insult is a jihadi idea.  It is not an American idea.  It is applying their code to our behavior.  Drawing Mohammed is entirely normal political speech.  It is not a gratuitous insult; it is fighting the imposition of sharia law in America.

Pam Geller is the bravest woman in America at this moment. 

She deserves to be given a podium so her voice can be heard by millions.  That supposedly conservative journalists are attacking her instead signals their incapacity to counter jihad in America.

It is crucial for the survival of civilization that all of us speak out loudly and clearly about the many truly appalling and abominable aspects of Islam. 

So it should be obvious by now who the HFR Hero of the Week is:  Pam Geller.  I should tell you that she’s been my friend for years, that we have a mutual admiration – and she’s a huge fan of TTP!

The Yiddish dictionary defines mensch as: "An upright, honorable decent person; someone of consequence, someone to admire and emulate; someone of noble character."  Note it is gender-free, applying to persons, not just men but women as well.

Pam Geller is a mensch.   She has the cojones Bill O’Reilly pretends he has.   She’s the one Jim Geraghty means when he says, "We Have Invented Jihadist Flypaper."  Not we, Jim, Pam has invented jihadi flypaper. 

Keep up with her via her blog, pamelageller.com.  And keep up your noble work, Pam – for America’s sake and all of ours.

(Ps. to Pam – at TTP, we spell it Moslem and Mohammed like it always used to be, not "Muslim" and "Muhammad" like Islamic Political Correctness demands.  Perhaps you might consider doing so too.  Then again, perhaps we should go back to the way it was for centuries when Moslems were traditionally called "Mohammedans" – what do you think?)

Thanks to The Lying Swine, Pam now has the podium she deserves.  And there’s more good news this week – lots of it.  One reason is another lady mensch who is also "making the right enemies."  That would be just-announced (5/04) presidential candidate Carly Fiorina.

I’m really starting to like her. As the article in the link above explains:

"She can articulate the case for free enterprise that can best appeal to the middle, especially working-class voters in swing states like Ohio. Government regulation and spending tilts the playing field towards the well-connected political class, crushing opportunity for entrepreneurs and rewarding the cronies.

This is both an economic argument and a fairness argument, and it’s only tenable if it’s fueled by attacks on corporate welfare and crony capitalism."

The Washington Examiner explained (5/07) why Carly Fiorina Is Doing It Right So Far.  One hilarious example came on Tuesday (5/05), when she hoisted Late Night host Seth Meyers on his smart-ass petard.

Knowing he would poke fun at her for not registering "carlyfiorina.org" (as she did for every other permutation), when he did so she asked him if he knew who owned "sethmeyers.org."  When he said he had no idea, she told him, "I do – I just bought it in the Green Room (where show guests sit before going on), and it was really cheap ($16)."

Not only that, when you enter sethmeyers.org as a URL, it automatically reroutes to carlyforpresident.com.  This lady is cool.  Enjoy the takedown:

I like Carly and loathe The PIAPS.  So do guerrilla artists in LA.  She arrived there yesterday (5/07) to be greeted by a trio of posters strategically placed near the homes hosting fund-raisers for her.  One is a takeoff on Shrek, depicting her as Shrew, another on the Game of Thrones All Men Must Die poster, the third as an air freshener declaring Hillary Stinks – the Stench of Corruption.  IJR has the pics.

PIAPS, as we know, stands for Pig-In-A-Pantsuit.  On Tuesday (5/05), she vowed to be worse than Zero on Amnesty for Illegals, if such a thing is possible.

Being a sophist as always, she set up a straw man: "It’s foolish to talk as though we’re going to deport 11 or 12 million people. That is not going to happen," Clinton said. "It’s beyond absurd."  As if deportation or full citizenship with open borders are the only two options.

The solution to illegal immigration is simple:

*Control the border with Mexico via an armed and full-funded Border Patrol who immediately deport all aliens caught back to Mexico (including the ones who’ve memorized the now magic word "asylum").

*Deport all illegals with a criminal record back to their home country, especially those currently in prison (the GAO estimates that 27% of the total inmate population in federal prisons are criminal aliens – many more are in state and county jails).

*Deny citizenship and voting rights to illegals, with real Voter ID to ensure it.

*Deny any form of government taxpayer-funded assistance to illegals.

Additionally, make every effort to promote real free markets and real rule of law in Mexico, so that an honest, safe, and prospering Mexico will keep its people there, not here.

Problem solved.  All we need is a Pub to win the presidency by advocating it.

I’ve always thought that Mrs. Clinton was morally retarded. More so than her husband, but unlike him, politically stupid and eternally unlovable  To be evil, diabolically evil, is, however, in another human dimension.  Vladimir Putin provided yet another example this week that this is what he is.

Putin Rehabilitating Stalin As "A Man of Good Intentions" is the headline in Tuesday’s (5/05) London Daily Mail.  Putin is a Stalin wannabe. There is no moral difference whatever between Hitler and Stalin – other than Stalin murdered millions more than Hitler because he had more time to do so – ruling 30 years (1922-1952) vs. Hitler’s 12 (1933-1945).

What would we think of a German ruler who was a professed admirer of Hitler?  What would we think of the German people if 45% of them agreed?  How outraged would we be if such a Germany led by such a ruler began gobbling up pieces of neighboring countries by military force and threatening others?

This is precisely how we should regard Putin and his Russian followers.  There are also millions of Russians who remember and know the truth of Stalin being a hideous monster, and see how Putin is becoming one.  Maybe a cabal of them will have the courage to put him down as they would a rabid dog.  We can always hope.

Yet it may not be that simple.  Admiration for Stalin and Putin means there is a deep moral flaw in Russian culture, so deep it may be ineradicable.  The only solution may well be that we – meaning a future Ronald Reagan – may have to do to Russia what we did to the Soviet Union.

At least the Putin Huilo had an embarrassing moment yesterday (5/08), when his "masterpiece" – a T-14 Armata billed by Kremlin propagandists as "the world’s deadliest tank" – broke down in Red Square before an audience of thousands.

TTPer Joe Katzman (and former editor of Defense Industry Daily) isn’t buying the T-14 hype.  It isn’t at all clear what it’s designed for – e.g., Israel’s Merkava for defensive war in the Middle East, or Germany’s Leopard 2 and US’s M1 Abrams for fast heavy cavalry.  Can the T-14 take out helicopters like the Merkava?  Handle urban warfare like the Leopard 2A7?  Unlikely.

If the tank crews are lucky, though, the T-14 won’t eat their hands like the T-72’s auto-loader – and won’t joke, "In Russia, the tank fires you."  Good luck, Russkies.  And try to stay sober.  That’s difficult when so many Russian soldiers down a gallon of vodka a week.

It’s hard to beat this for good news: NSA’s phone spying program ruled illegal by appeals court.  Yesterday (5/08), the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan ruled that the Patriot Act did not authorize the National Security Agency to collect Americans’ calling records in bulk.

Can we please shut down the NSA’s gigantic Utah Data Center for spying on Americans now?  Or at least cut off its massive water supply?

Now for a truly satisfying, heartwarming, tears-of-joy story: How One UK Company Made £1 Million in Four Days from Furious Social Justice Warriors. 

This is about how a small British company stood up to a campaign of Lefty Feminazis, made fun of them, and won the support of a horde of new customers by doing so. 

The company, Protein World, advertized a weight-loss supplement with posters of bikini-clad ladies asking, "Is your body beach ready?" Outraged SJWs (Social Justice Warriors) quickly got 40,000 sign-ups on a change.org petition to put them out of business for being so sexist.

Instead of groveling and apologizing as the SJWs demand, the company responded with another poster featuring not a bikini-clad hottie but a breaching whale asking, "Are you feminist body ready?"  How ballsy fabulous is that?

Within four days of the new poster giving the SJWs the finger, the company had 20,000 new customers and increased revenues of over $1.5 million.

This is a big-time two-fer.  It creates a culture of loyal customers who see the SJWs of the Left as their political enemy – and as more companies and marketers see the way to defend themselves from being targeted is not to capitulate but fight back smart, the culture as a whole becomes more immune to SJW shakedowns.

We could be seeing a real culture shift as this catches on.

Another sign of culture shift:  The WaPo headline on Monday (5/04):  A Rightward Reaction to Riots.  After Ferguson and now Baltimore, a majority of folks are now sick and tired of all the phony claims for justifying thuggery, and look upon the claims as merely an excuse to loot.

Americans are saying "Enough!" to all the excuses of the Left.

The Brits sure said Enough! yesterday (5/08).  All the Commies like Red Ed Miliband and his Labor Party, and Lefty Squishes like Nick Clegg and his LibDems got hammered.  Labor lost 26 seats, the LibDems 47 and are almost extinguished with 8 seats left.  All the polls said Cameron would take it in the shorts, but his Conservatives gained 24 seats for an absolute majority of 330 (majority requires 323).

The entire British political elite is stunned, the entire British Left down for the count.  May this happen to the American Hard Left (Dems) and Soft Left (RINOs) in November 2016.

As TTP has been saying since its inception (2003), the emotional fuel of the Left is envy.  You can peruse the key article in the Evil Eye list.

So you can imagine our satisfaction seeing the best editorial page in the country – Investors Daily – nail it this week (5/02), with EU’s Attack on US Firms Is about Europe’s stagnation.  The key quote:

"What this really is about is the EU’s broken quasi-socialist welfare state model, which is collapsing.

Europeans no longer create babies, start up companies, new goods and services, or jobs. But they have an almost endless supply of envy.

And envy’s always a bad thing on which to base policy.

For EU bureaucrats, successful American firms are a painful reminder of their own failure. Their creed might well be: If we can’t compete with a company, take it down. Regulate it, tax it, fine it. Whatever works."

Sounds like our own Democrats, doesn’t it?  So let’s hope the IBD starts hammering them (and The PIAPS in particular, along of course with Zero) as champions of the Politics of Envy.

Perhaps we could start with this.  You know how Mrs. Zero is always campaigning against obesity?  It certainly is true that there’s an epidemic of obesity in America today – which you can confirm perusing shoppers at any mall or walking down any busy urban street.

On Tuesday (5/05), the Agriculture Dept. released a report identifying a primary cause of America’s Obesity Epidemic:  40% of People on Food Stamps Are Obese.

Since 47 million people are on Food Stamps thanks to Zero, the cure for obesity should now be obvious to Mrs. Zero:  Eliminate Food Stamps.  Abolish the entire program.  You could substitute it with food banks supplying basic staples like high-fiber bread and flour, eggs, beans, whole brown rice, milk, etc.

It’s the clear simple solution to Mrs. Zero’s problem that she’s been looking for.  I can hardly wait for her announcing her support for it.
