FRANCIS IS A FRAUD

Last week (5/19), Mary Anastasia O’Grady commented in the Wall Street Journal on The Pope’s Embrace of Castro.

She noted that "The Holy Father is a native of 20th-century Argentina, ideologically defined by nationalism, socialism, corporatism and anti-Americanism. It wouldn’t be surprising to learn that this influences his views toward the U.S. and the island 90 miles from its shores."

Yet there are many Argentines who are not so influenced and who can think for themselves.  As a life-long devout Catholic, it pains me to observe this is not the case with Francis.  As a result, he is a papal fraud. 

In matters of the cloth, good Catholics always seek a vision of Saint Peter’s earthly successor as a man of goodness and spirituality — as God’s anointed emissary on earth goodwill will be done. Sadly, this is not always true.

There are many realities past where the Pope simply was neither devout in his vows nor divinely blessed to do God’s will on earth for all mankind.

Today we have such a man who is radical to the traditions of the church, and instinctively biased against the teaching and strength of character of his two predecessors, Popes Benedict XVI and John Paul II.  They both understood evil in all its forms and the dangers from the radical mindset and its phony call signs of "social justice," "entitlement," and the so called "struggle."

These are misrepresented by this Pope as falsely defending the poor in keeping with Christian  teaching. They are lies long since foisted by the Left on all forms of enlightenment, and on capitalism in particular which has as its truth human embetterment. 

This Pope goes beyond any vow of poverty and simple humility to join in league with tyrant after tyrant in a twisted notion of defending the poor. 

He has manifested this in a series of tortuous scenes where he rails against the hegemony of the United States while defending murderous regimes dedicated to the extinction of freedom.

His most recent embrace of the pedophile Raul Castro has no other interpretation. It is a hostile act toward the teaching of the church, an insult to all free Cubans, and worse, grinds salt in the wounds of those continually oppressed by this fraudulent dictatorship. 

This Pope’ s mind is strewn with the raw sewage of the indoctrination which has laid waste to a good part of Latin America. While Leftist thought always creates a wasteland of lost opportunity, there it is exacerbated by the socialist mantra of nationalistic tyranny which views human embetterment as a dirty trick of exploitation by Big Satan America. 

With the Castro hoods on the ropes after the collapse of the Soviet Union and marginally kept afloat with the oil money Venezuela’s Chavistas, here is a Pope brokering the deal between Obama and the hoods. All peas in a pod. 

It is blatant twisted leftist politics dressed as humility. Beyond disgraceful, this Pope has maintained the same attitude toward Little Satan Israel.

In officially recognizing the "State of Palestine" run by the terrorists of Hamas, he is engaging in another grotesque lie all while standing firm on human rights through the prism of tyranny.  Insisting on statehood for a region solely dedicated to the destruction of Israel is equivalent to rejecting the Judeo-Christian ethic at the basis of the Catholic Church. 

These are dark days when our Pope fancies evil as doing God’s  work. At least the Borgia Popes knew better than to foment this gray pale on everything that dear Francis touches.
