HALF-FULL REPORT 12/26/14

Welcome to the Last Half-Full Report… of 2014.  Next week we begin a whole new year, so let’s say goodbye to this old one.  Should we also say good riddance?

This being the HFR, the judgment should be, well, at least a bit more half-full than half-empty.  Before we start, however, first a thank you.  That would be for all the kind comments, both on the Forum and by personal email, regarding Revolutionary Constitutionalism and Declarations of Defiance (published on Christmas Eve, 12/24).

One comment by email from a long-time TTPer and dear friend was truly humbling:

"It is an epiphany… a masterwork, brilliantly worded and totally convincing.  I can only hope that this article is spread far and wide. This is something that so badly needed to be said and I can’t imagine it being better said.  It is indeed the Declaration of Independence for our time.  Nobody who feels anything that leans in our direction can fail to be moved by it. 

And it is so obviously true that we are not approaching a tipping point in our war with the tyrants in DC — we have passed the tipping point and now your article points us in the new direction that is the only way out for the Constitution and the United States."

"Jim III" on the Forum made an interesting observation:

"A corollary to this reasoning is that two adjacent states agreeing to a mutual arrangement should not fall under the commerce clause, as the clause is there to allow the federal courts and laws to aid in conflicts between states over commerce disagreements, not decide what activities may affect whom and dictating to states and their populations what may be done within the states. This realization should quickly eliminate (for example) all justification for the EPA in most of the areas it currently has its fingers."

I am looking forward to the continuing discussion on the Forum.  Please jump in!  And please note that the article is Free Access.  You can send the link to anyone.  Thus it is easy to "spread far and wide" the concept of Revolutionary Constitutionalism and the history of Declarations of Defiance.

The latter were issued by states objecting to slavery against a federal government determined to impose it.  American citizens are once again being subjected to enslavement by an impossibly corrupt federal government acting unconstitutionally. 

Note that the Declaration of Defiance cited in the article was issued by Wisconsin.  We need to persuade Scott Walker to follow in his predecessors’ footsteps to liberate America – which could be his path to the White House.

Now, what’s half-full around here?  Looking around the world, 2014 was way more than just half-full for India.  The electoral victory of Narendra Modi in May is India’s best chance since independence in 1947 to realize its extraordinary potential.  Forbes is now saying that India will likely become the third largest economy in the world after the US and China.

When Zero makes a state visit see Modi in New Delhi one month from today (Jan 26), the world will focus on India as The Last BRIC Standing.  Brazil is floundering, China is slowing way down, and Russia is screwed.

2014 is ending with a drained to near-empty glass for Russia, most especially for its thug-gangster ruler, Czar Huilo.  For a most enjoyable read, here’s the WaPo on Monday (12/22) explaining how "Putin is the weak gazelle" about to be devoured by global financial forces.

Militarily, it’s just as bad.  Even with 32,000 Russian troops invading eastern Ukraine, as Jamestown notes:

"After three months of continually breaching the ceasefire, Russian and proxy forces have failed to expand beyond the ceasefire lines. Ukrainian forces have successfully defended the Donetsk airport, Debaltseve salient, and other positions under attack on the line of contact. The Ukrainians have also blocked Russian probing moves on Mariupol and the land route toward the Russian-annexed Crimea."

Thus Ukraine’s Parliament – the Rada – poked its finger in Putin’s eye on Tuesday (12/23) by voting 303-9 to end Ukraine’s non-aligned status as a prelude to joining NATO.  This made the Kremlin oh-so-mad.  The Rada shrugged.

The Huilo’s Russia is speeding towards economic depression (not just recession), 20% inflation or higher, combined with military humiliation in Ukraine.  Putin is in no position, financially nor militarily, to lash out – say in Estonia – and infuriate everyone aligned against him further.

He may anyway out of sheer masochistic vindictiveness – or be just about to before the siloviki ruling elite take him down in a putsch.  So he’ll likely instead try to make a face-saving deal – "If you let me keep Crimea I’ll get out of eastern Ukraine."  But what will he offer the Saudis to start raising oil prices?  Putin’s days may be numbered in 2015.

On Tuesday (12/23), the London Daily Mail explained the best news for us and much of the world is the worst for the jerks of the world (e.g., the governments of Russia, Iran, and Venezuela):  Forget Nuclear Arms: Oil’s Now the World’s Most Potent Weapon.  Good news for the good guys, bad news for the bad.  Not quite that simple, but very cool nonetheless.  The article is a "must-read" of the week.

The sine qua non for this is, of course, unstoppable American entrepreneurial ingenuity that created fracking.  The Mail, being British, bemoans the "fate of North Sea oil" in the price collapse, yet fails to focus on the opportunity for Britain to start fracking its own enormous shale oil and gas reserves. 

This is exactly what Prime Minister David Cameron wants to do, and hopefully now he’ll be able to ignore the hysterical eco-freak opposition to fracking to do so.

As noted above, one of the bad guy governments getting nailed by low oil is Venezuela.  Looks like the Chavista thug government of Nicolas Maduro is headed towards full collapse.  This is classic Marxist Karma.  Venezuela has the second largest oil reserves on the planet, and its Commie Gangster regime is belly up.  Schadenfreude City.

Other good news.  Germans have become sick and tired of Moslem immigrants Islamicizing their country.  Monday (12/22) saw the biggest series of demonstrations yet in cities across Germany by tens of thousands of members of a citizens’ movement, Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamization of the West.

Meanwhile, the Moslem monsters of ISIS are starting to lose.  Yesterday (12/25), the WaPo reported, "The Islamic State Is Failing At Being A State."  The Kurdish Peshmerga have driven ISIS off Mount Sinjar and freed thousands of trapped Yazidis. And yesterday, US airstrikes killed the ISIS ruler of Mosul.

The Pentagon is now predicting Mosul will be liberated from ISIS next month.  The ISIS retreat has begun.

What conservatives need is the courage of the Kurds to wage war against an implacable evil enemy out to destroy our country:  the Marxist-Fascist Left that dominates the media, academia, and the Democrat Party.

Actor James Woods displayed that courage when on Sunday (12/21) he publicly called Al Sharpton a "race pimp," and a "disgusting pig (who) is DIRECTLY (caps his) responsible for the murder of two good policemen."

Sharpton demonstrated just how disgusting he is by worrying about how the execution of NYPD cops  might "derail" his racist movement.

Hope for America was demonstrated by this Christmas Eve story, that in the wake of the killings by a black racist Moslem there has been A Surge of Support for Police across the US.

Speaking of disgusting black racist Moslems, there’s a student leader at Brandeis University named Khadijah Lynch ("Khadijah," by the way is a Moslem female name originating with Mohammad’s first wife, thus being known as "the Mother of Islam). 

Believe it or not, on the day of the killings, 12/20, she publicly tweeted: "i have no sympathy for the nypd officers who were murdered today." She followed this the next day with: Imao, all i just really dont have sympathy for the cops who were shot. i hate this racist f*****g country." Note she signs her tweets with her name in Arabic.

It gets worse.  When a fellow Brandeis student, Daniel Mael, revealed her tweets on a website, TruthRevolt (the link above), there was an outpouring of threats and condemnation at Brandeis – not towards Khadijah Lynch but towards Daniel Mael.

Yes, students at Brandeis – which costs $60K a year to attend – support this Hate America Black Racist Pro-Copkilling Anti-Semitic Moslem Bitch, and are demanding Daniel Mael be expelled from Brandeis for exposing her.

That’s how low American academia has sunk, folks.  You can’t sink much lower.

At least an Expel Khadijah Lynch from Brandeis Facebook page.  Feel free to join.  I just did.  Of course, I think every "progressive" punk student who supports her and made threats to Dan Mael should be expelled as well.  And that Brandeis alums should suspend all donations to Brandeis until it undergoes a full soul-searching as to how such moral evil got entrenched into their school.

It will have little effect on the Brandeis student fascists and their profs because being on the left means you never have to apologize for anything.  So our best reaction is to enjoy realizing how their miserable souls are poisoned with hate and anger, and laugh in their face.

Here’s an idea — let’s start a fund to pay for Khadijah to fly to Syria and join the ISIS terrorists, where she can become their sex slave.

But you should also be packing any time you go out in public by now.  I assume you live in a concealed carry state.  If not, move to one fast.  Here’s a story to warm your heart.  On Monday (12/22) in Cincinnati, a mall shopper with a concealed carry permit shot and killed a robber pointing a gun at him. 

And here’s a YouTube to really make you cheer – and laugh your head off.  It’s about a wonderful black lady (bad language alert, keeps the kidlets away) and how she performed ".38 caliber circumcision" on a holdup hoodlum:

OK, that’s a wrap.  Richard Rahn got what he wanted for Christmas.  On Tuesday (12/23), the House GOP issued new budget rules with "dynamic scoring," just as Richard wanted from Santa.  Hope you got what you wanted from Santa yesterday.  That’s it for 2014.  Next week, off we go for 2015.
