THE DOUBLE DEATH KNELL OF WARMISM AND DEMOCRAT FASCISM

The Left died last Sunday (9/21).  It was a spectacular demise, with 400,000 weirdly costumed moonbats clogging up the streets of downtown Manhattan engaged in a "People’s Climate March."

What we witnessed was the socio-political equivalent of what biologists call "death fluorescence."  They’ve actually photographed a death wave of bright blue fluorescence propagating through an organism as it dies.

Reason TV essentially recorded the same phenomenon in New York on Sunday:

You can just see the blue wave enveloping the bearded idiot at the end who says the solution to climate change is for everyone to just "turn off" every energy device they have.  What’s turned off is his brain – and that of his 400K fellow marchers.

Yet this event was far more than a mass collection of hippie losers and fruitcakes without a cause:

 

Obviously she doesn’t.

It was more than climate hypocrites claiming to be more-eco-friendly-than-thou while leaving mountains of trash in their wake.

It was even more than Climate Commies coming out to claim intellectual leadership for Warmism:

The Commie bromides of Anti-Capitalism provided the primary theme of the march.  Epitomizing this was professional anti-capitalist Naomi Klein in the march’s forefront pitching her latest screed, Capitalism Vs. The Climate, to anyone with a microphone and camera.

What we’re seeing is the last gasp of the Left.  What motivates Lefties in general is not any particular ideology.  It’s what Nietzsche called The Will to Power in the most depraved sense. 

Not in the normal sense of the will to be healthy, strong, successful, and flourishing – but in the sense of making it one’s goal in life to control others’ lives (or have them controlled and prevented from flourishing) to make up for one’s lack of self-worth.

Yet a naked unadorned tyranny for the sake of tyranny is not inspiring, so it almost always seeks some ideological clothing, some rationale to provide moral justification.  Just look at most any dictatorship – the naked totalitarianism of North Korea clothed in the Cult of Kim, or Robert Mugabe’s blatant rigging of faux elections to claim Zimbabwe is a "democracy."

When you strip away a justifying ideology, leaving nothing but a will to power, it’s an ugly sight.  This is why Putin Huilo is so despised throughout the world, save for his fellow dictators.  There’s no more "Marxism-Leninism" justifying the existence of Soviet imperialism, only undisguised Russian jackbooted gangsterism.  It always was nothing more than the latter, but now the ideological disguise is gone.

Marxism died with the Soviet Union.  Nobody believes it any more save for tenured academics living in ivory towers and editorial writers for the New York Times.  Thus the lefties launched a desperate search for a replacement rationale to justify their wanting to control other people’s lives.  It’s no accident, comrades, that "Global Warming" became their cause célèbre shortly after the demise of the USSR.

"Global Warming" had everything – seas rising, cities drowning, polar bears dying, the world burned to a cinder, extinction of the human race, Apocalypse Now for real – and it’s all our fault!  Evil sinful man!  It was Original Sin for the secular non-Christian left.

But we could be saved!  We can repent!  If we beg for forgiveness and plead for salvation from the secular Christs of Environmentalism, we will live happily ever after.  All we have to do is turn over total control of our lives to them, and the planet – Holy Gaia! – is saved!

Thus it is that the Church of Warmism is a grotesquerie of Christianity.

And it came close to working, as the religious frenzy of Warmism seemed poised to sweep the world.  But by the end of the 90s, people started noticing something:  the world wasn’t getting warmer.  So the Warmists changed "Global Warming" to "Climate Change." 

The latter term means absolutely nothing, but allowed the Warmists to claim that no matter what bad weather happened, droughts, floods, heat waves, freezing winters, whatever, it’s all our sinful fault.

The claim was ludicrous on its face – that a trace gas necessary for life has anything to do with warming the planet, and that the trace of a trace we produce would cause apocalypse (the percentage of man-made CO2 of all greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is 1/10^th of 1%).

And there was utterly no actual evidence for this – ice cores showing millions of years of climate change consistently showed that increases in atmospheric CO2 always came after, most often centuries after, warming periods.  Increased CO2 is a consequence of global warming, never the cause.  (CO2 goes into solution in the oceans, and is released when oceans warm up).

The only "evidence" Warmists had for their "man-made CO2 causing global warming" theory was GIGO computer models – garbage in, garbage out.  Their computers can’t even model clouds and their effect on warming/cooling. 

So when their GIGO models predicted the world would fry in the first decade of the 21^st century – and it got colder instead, the warmist frenzy started to evaporate.  The world hasn’t gotten warmer since 1998, and in many places considerably colder.

But here’s the key.  The Left – which most especially includes the diehard fascists running the White House and the Democrat Party – keep banging the Warmist Drum because it’s the only drum they have, they don’t have another.

Thus the increasing hysteria not just of hippie idiots in New York, but within the leadership of the Democrat Fascist Party.

Last month (8/13), Secretary of State Lurch  gave a speech that can only be described as flat-out deranged.  The unhinged rant starts at the 26^th paragraph.  After praising Algore and ultimate climate fascist James Hansen, he brags that "President Obama has made climate change a top priority — he’s doing by executive authority what we’re not able to get the Congress to do."

Then he goes Full Apocalyptic.  Unless the world commits to "rescuing the planet’s climate" from evil man-made CO2 emissions, the consequences will be "devastating – entire habitats destroyed, entire populations displaced from their homes, in some cases entire cultures wiped out… that’s what’s happened with climate change – unprecedented storms, unprecedented typhoons, unprecedented hurricanes, unprecedented droughts, unprecedented fires."

He concludes with the claim that "the biggest challenge of all that we face right now, is climate change."  What unprecedented tripe.

Last Friday (9/19), the twerp who runs Zero’s Office of Management & Budget, Shawn Donovan, compared "climate deniers" to "flat earthers."  Nice try, Shawn.  All this will get you is being called a Flat Earther yourself.

California’s Governor Moonbeam on Sunday (9/23) declared at the People’s March that "Carbon pollution kills!"  Well, certainly the carbon pollution of his breath can.

Zero, in his UN speech on Tuesday (9/23) topped all this lunacy by claiming 1) in America, "the past decade has been our hottest on record" (no, the US has been getting cooler since the 1930s); 2) "Worldwide, this summer was the hottest ever recorded" (utter nonsense); and 3) it’s all our fault, but his Climate Action Plan will save the planet and billions of dollars (it will cost Americans tens of billions).

The bottom line is all of this – hundreds of thousands of loonies in New York, the warmist scientists being paid off with government grants to create GIGO models, the Enemedia’s endless attempts to con us into believing warmism, Zero and the entire DemFascist cabal – is OBE, overtaken by events and obsolete.

The voting public is not buying the con.  They don’t care.  They care about jobs, the economy, illegals taking jobs away from them, crime, Moslem terrorism, actual threats and concerns in the real world.

And for all of these, the Left has no solution.  Zero has no solution.  Nor does Lurch, the PIAPS, Harry Reid, Pelosi Galore, or any other DemFascist.  All they can offer is more rules, more regulations, more ObamaCare, more taxes, more economic stagnation, more government control over everyone’s life.

That’s their goal, that’s the purpose of their lives.  But with the loss of Warmism as the last remaining rationale for this fascism, Pure Fascism For the Sake of Fascism is all they have left. 

Their only hope now is to sell hopelessness and dependency – to convince enough voters that they cannot survive without government handouts and dependency to keep them in power.  

If they can’t make the sale on November 4 and lose the Senate, then the game may well be over.  The death knell of Warmism may then signal the death knell of DemFascism.  One thing you can count on a Pub Senate doing is defunding Warmism.

Yes, the Left is composed of zombies, who always rise from the dead.  So the death of Warmism will only be a temporary death of DemFascism.  The real opportunity is that the Left will remain in a state of paralysis, of suspended animation, until they can come up with another fascist rationale replacing Warmism to achieve their will to power.

It is during this state that we should go for their jugular.  Actually, we should go for their jugular right now.  We should not wait for their next attempt to scare us into letting them control our lives.
