HALF-FULL REPORT 09/12/14

Can’t resist starting this HFR off with Red State’s Erick Erickson’s comment on Zero’s Nothingburger speech to the nation Wednesday night (9/10):

"This speech is what I imagine you’d try to say to your mom if she walked in on you playing with yourself. It was awkward and we’ve caught the President with his pants down."

Even Tingles Mathews was unimpressed:  "I didn’t hear how we’re going to defeat ISIS."

You can read the full text at WhiteHouse.gov.  Leave it to Sarah Palin to explain why Zero’s pinprick air strikes and no-boots-on-the-ground "counterterrorism strategy" isn’t going to cut it:

"War is hell. So go big or go home, Mr. President. Big means bold, confident, wise assurance from a trustworthy Commander-in-Chief that it shall all be worth it. Charge in, strike hard, get out. Win."

Amidst a lot of dumb stuff, Zero’s dumbest claim of all was: "ISIL is not ‘Islamic.’  No religion condones the killing of innocents."

The Koran does just this and repeatedly. A quartet of samples from a myriad:

Sura 9:5.  When the sacred months are over, slay the idolaters wherever you find them.  Arrest them, besiege them, and lie in ambush everywhere for them.

Sura 8:12.  I [Allah] will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them. 

Sura 48:29.  Mohammed is Allah’s apostle.  Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another.

Sura 66:9.  Prophet! [meaning Mohammed]  Make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites and deal harshly with them.  Hell shall be their home. Evil their fate.

There’s lots more, all with the same message.  Islam is a religion of war, not peace.  There cannot be peace with a religion that declares war on "unbelievers" – those who do not ascribe to it – as a mandate from its god.  It is a religion of Intolerance and Violence.

There are about 7.1 billion people in the world today, 1.6 billion of whom are Moslem.  On the Koran’s own terms, for the world’s 5.5 billion Non-Moslems, it is the Moslems who are the infidel unbelievers, and those 5.5 billion are morally justified in making war upon them, slaying them wherever they can be found.

What’s good for the Non-Moslem goose is good for the Moslem gander.

Thanks heavens, the vast majority of humanity is vastly more tolerant and humane than the Koran (which thankfully includes many Moslems — see the Islamic Flag Challenge below).  And for those who practice what the Koran teaches, such as those flocking to the banner of ISIS, there is only one solution:  Hunt them down and kill them.  It’s very Koranic.

A perfect example of this – a perfect example of what we discussed in 9/11 and the 10^th Commandment – emerged this week in Oklahoma.

Last week on Sept. 1, State Legislator John Bennett posted a Facebook comment on an article in the Sharia Unveiled website:

The Oklahoma branch of the Moslem apologist group CAIR spotted it and demanded an apology – the standard attempt of intimidation.  On Sept. 3, the local KFOR TV station ran the story: Lawmaker’s Remarks Sparks Controversy.  By this week, the story had mushroomed into the headline:  Muslim Advocacy Groups Demand Oklahoma Politician’s Resignation.

Particularly delicious about this headline is that one of the "Muslim Advocacy Groups" is the Oklahoma Conference of Churches.  All OCC member churches are Christian.  The pathetic Dhimmi OCC leader apologized to CAIR.  But not Bennett.

He’s a Marine, serving 20 years with three combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He’s a rock-solid God-Family-Country Conservative.  A guy like this is not going to be intimidated and is not going to apologize to Islamic fascisti:

"I work for my constituents and no one else," Bennett told KFOR News.  "I promised to stand up and fight for American and Oklahoma values.  I will not resign, nor will I apologize."

With this, the outrage exploded.  Ereyesterday[1] (9/10), the headline had become:  Social Justice Groups Join Together To Condemn Oklahoma Lawmaker’s Anti-Muslim Comments.

Get a load of the list of the "social justice groups":  CAIR-OK was joined at the news conference by representatives of the Oklahoma Conference of Churches, the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, Islamic Council of Oklahoma, ACLU of Oklahoma, Oklahoma NAACP, Respect Diversity Foundation, Dialogue Institute of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Center for Community and Justice, Masjid Mumin and Advocacy E.V.E. Coalition.

We’re way beyond Dhimmitude here.  These libtard fascisti are now realizing that the refusal of one guy to be intimidated, to grovel and apologize, is a threat to the entire envy-appeasement intimidation game and thus their existence.

Especially when the State Chairman of the Oklahoma GOP, Dave Weston, backs Bennett to the hilt.  AP reports: "Everything John Bennett said is legitimate and there is no need to for him to apologize. One look around the world today, and 1,400 years of history, and you can see what he says is accurate," Weston told The Associated Press.

You’re not going to get a better example of following the 10^th Commandment Corollary: Thou shalt not fear those who covet; you shall not be afraid of the envious.

This, as 9/11 and the 10^th Commandment made clear, is the key to ending such threats as Moslem Terrorism – and indeed, the threat of Democrat Terrorism and its entire "social justice" cabal.

You’d think that John Bennett would be a lay down for HFR Hero of the Week.  Problem is, there’s a trio of other contenders.

Last Saturday (9/06), a gang of over 100 black teenage thugs brutally attacked white customers and employees of the Kroger Supermarket in Memphis.  The story and video are sickening.

In response to Holder Justice never missing a chance to sick the Feds on any alleged white-on-black "hate crime" as it is doing in Ferguson, Missouri, actor James Woods is demanding that Holder investigate the Kroger attack as a Hate Crime – and has created the Twitter hashtag #holderchallenge to pressure him.

Next we need to thank the head of the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, Cardinal Francis George, for his column in this week’s issue (9/07) of Catholic New World.

The Federal Government and its courts once "kept its promise to protect all religions and not become a rival to them, a fake church," said the Cardinal.  It has now broken that promise.

"The ‘ruling class,’ those who shape public opinion in politics, in education, in communications, in entertainment, is using the civil law to impose its own form of morality on everyone."  This has now become the "official religion of the State," enforced by federal judges and government guns.

As a result, "American civil law has done much to weaken and destroy what is the basic unit of every human society, the family. With the weakening of the internal restraints that healthy family life teaches, the State will need to impose more and more external restraints on everyone’s activities."

A key example of the ruling elite’s "official State religion" is its imposition of "same-sex marriage" upon everyone, for it "is not an issue for the poor or those on the margins of society."

And then comes the bottom line, the killer accusation.

The creation of the Federal Government’s Fake Church, accuses the Cardinal, "means in some States that those who run businesses must conform their activities to the official religion or be fined, as Christians and Jews are fined for their religion in countries governed by Sharia law."
 
All those fears that the Muzzies are going to take over and impose Sharia Law upon America?  The Cardinal is saying it’s already happened – the Church of Liberal Fascism has already imposed Liberal Sharia Law upon us, and anyone who disobeys, like a baker who refuses to bake a same-sex wedding cake must be fined or put out of business.

The HFR applauds Cardinal George for his courage.

And then there’s Ted.

On Wednesday night (9/10), Texas Senator Ted Cruz addressed a conference of Middle Eastern and Arab Christians known as In Defense of Christians.  The non-Arabs applauded him, but they ended up being drowned out by the boos of Palestinian Arab Christians suffused with their Anti-Semitic hatred.

The virulence, Cruz said afterwards, was the worst he had ever encountered. Here it is:

 
It is revolting to see such hatred and bigotry displayed by people daring to call themselves Christians.  But it is inspiring to see a politician with the courage to stand straight up to it, denounce it to their faces, give them a rhetorical middle finger, and walk out on them.  This is what we want in a president.

The HFR offers high praise and gratitude for John Bennett (and Dave Weston), James Woods, and Cardinal George.  That said, Ted Cruz is the HFR Hero of the Week.

Actually, however, there is good news in the Islamic world this week.  Disgusted and enraged by ISIS barbarism in the name of their religion, Moslems all over the world are partaking in their version of the "ice bucket challenge" craze – the ISIS Flag Burning Challenge.

I particularly like the topless Femen feminist flag burners.  Good for them all.

So – what else is going on around here?

Well, there’s the least surprising headline of the week:  Democrats Rally Around Their Favorite Corrupt Agency – The IRS.

There’s the week’s what-the-hell? moment, when Ben Carson politically suicides himself by defending Ray Rice for knocking his wife old cold – while Zero condemns Rice with the truth: "Hitting a woman is not something a real man does."  Good for Zero.  For once, Ben Carson could learn from him.

And there’s Joan Rivers, who we learned banned Michelle Obama from being invited to her funeral because "she’s a tranny."  That’s as in transgender, a man surgically altered to appear as a woman.  She made the accusation public last July, when the New York Daily News headline was: Joan Rivers Calls President Obama Gay, Says Michelle’s a Tranny.  We’ll miss you, Joan.

In the Suspicions Confirmed Dept. this week, more proof that our Federal Government really is run by fascist goons.  The WaPo headline yesterday (9/11): U.S. Threatened Massive Fines to Force Yahoo to Release Data.

On the economic front – everything seems to be going down.  As of this writing (Friday afternoon 9/12), the Dow is below 17K, the euro is below 1.30 to the dollar, Brent crude (the price in Europe) is below $99 (very bad news for Russia), and gold is below $1230.

The pound is up though, bouncing back with the Scotland Scare over.  Looks like Scotland will reject independence next week (9/18).

The price to watch is Brent.  Last June it was at $113, and has been falling ever since.  The main reason is the Chinese aren’t buying. Oil is the lynchpin of the Russian economy.  Production costs are high.  Putin Huilo needs $100 a barrel to keep his mafiacracy running.  Below $90 and he’s in real trouble.  Below $80 and the whole economy comes unglued. 

Yesterday (9/11), the EU and the US placed a series of new sanctions on Russia, specifically targeting its oil industry.  The noose is tightening around The Huilo’s neck.
