THE ODDS FOR IMPEACHMENT ARE RISING

What do you get when you combine these three news stories?

Breitbart, Monday 8/25:  Obama to Enact Amnesty for Five Million Illegals Next Week
Fox, Yesterday 8/27: Al Qaeda Urges Bombing of Las Vegas
AP, Today 8/28:  Americans’ Pessimism on Economy Has Grown

You get a perfect storm engulfing Democrats and the Zero Presidency on November 4.

The Boston Globe on Wednesday (8/27) ran this dog-bites-man headline:  Obama Amnesty Plan Could Hurt Democrats.  Ya think?  Maybe.  Could be.  Just might be.

Real Clear Politics’ Senate compilation poll as of today (8/28) shows 45 safe Dems, 46 safe Pubs, and 9 tossups.  Joni Ernst (R) and Bruce Braley (D) in Iowa, Tom Cotton (R) and Mark Pryor (D) in Arkansas, Thom Tillis (R) and Kay Hagan in North Carolina, and Bill Cassidy (R) and Mary Landrieu (D) in Louisiana, for example, are all neck-and-neck.

There are 68 days until November 4.  That’s several lifetimes long in politics.  Lots of time to prepare one or more "October Surprises," lots of ways a Black Swan event can come out of nowhere to change everything.

What’s got everyone in DC weirded out is that Zero seems hell-bent to engineer an October Surprise foisted on his own party – literally creating political hell for his fellow Dems – and in early September no less. 

Any Dem in a close race is freaking out in panic, like those 9 tossups above.  RCP didn’t include New Hampshire’s Jeanne Shaheen among them, saying she’s "Likely Dem" instead.  But as Jack Kelly pointed out yesterday, she’s now in a tie with Scott Brown.  If Zero drops the Amnesty Bomb, she goes down in flames.

As many as 11 – eleven – Dem Senate seats could be lost.  That would flip the Senate dramatically to 56R-44D, with McConnell needing only 4 rogue Dem votes to make any bill filibuster-proof.    Possible – but not probable.  More likely is a Pub pick up of at least 8 – 2 more than needed to kick Harry Reid out of the Majority Leader’s office in 522 Senate Hart Building.

A note on the RCP’s House compilation. The current House is 233R-199D with 3 vacancies.  RCP claims 17 tossups, of which 13 are D.  Expect a 5 to 10 seat Pub gain, further solidifying GOP House control.

A Zero Amnesty via Executive Order would catalyze the pessimism almost every voter is feeling on the economy (see link above).  Resentment of his legalizing millions of illegals to compete for jobs when unemployment is sky-high would explode, especially among blue-collar Dem voters.

There’s mind-boggling irony in this.  Mickey Kaus argues that guaranteeing Dem loss of the Senate is only one of the wonderful benefits of a Zero Amnesty.  Namely, that it would kill the permanent cycle of amnesty after amnesty created by a "comprehensive immigration bill" that both the Dems and the Pub Establishment want.

This is why we should want Zero to go through with his Executive Amnesty hubris.  For the price of legalizing 5 million illegals who are already here, it forces the Establishment Pubs to abandon the Chamber of Crony Capitalism, block further amnesty of the remaining 10-20 million other illegals here, and galvanizes them to work with Pub governors to shut the Mex border down.

Read Mickey’s argument carefully.  It’s worth doing so.

So, okay, Zero’s Amnesty will give us the Senate and no further amnesties.  But what about impeachment, you ask?  That requires a Black Swan.

The Enemedia, the moonbat blogosphere, and the Dems are all in a tizzy over an audio tape of Mitch McConnell telling folks at a private Koch Brothers event that, next year when he’s Majority Leader, the Pub-run House & Senate will dismantle Zero’s programs:

"In the House and Senate, we own the budget," (McConnell) said, explaining that the initial blueprint on taxes and spending does not require the president’s signature. "So what does that mean? That means that we can pass the spending bill. And I assure you that in the spending bill, we will be pushing back against this bureaucracy by doing what’s called placing riders in the bill. No money can be spent to do this or to do that. We’re going to go after them on health care, on financial services, on the Environmental Protection Agency, across the board. All across the federal government, we’re going to go after it."

Well, Hallelujah!  The libtards are, of course, apoplectic.  Note, however, there is not the slightest hint by Mitch about impeaching Zero for the multitude of his presidential crimes.  You’re not going to get any Pub to do that.  Certainly not before election day.  Not until and unless there’s that Black Swan.

Which would be an Al Qaeda Moslem terrorist attack in America.

The odds are growing daily that it will happen and soon.  It would be very foolish, for example, for any of you to be in any major city – DC, New York, Chicago, Vegas et al – on this coming September 11.

Zero’s Amnesty, his failure to improve America’s economy and end record unemployment, his unending stream of scandals and unconstitutional lawlessness, his failure to improve race relations, the total awful failure of his presidency in aggregate – when coupled with a horrific Moslem terrorist attack (or series of attacks) killing Americans on American soil that he failed to prevent… that would make a public demand for his impeachment, for his resignation, inevitable.

The Pub-run House & Senate would have no choice but to proceed, to indict and convict.  Public outrage and disgust would force enough Senate Dems to vote for conviction, and force even the PIAPS, to have any chance at 2016, to demand they do.

We must pray that no such terrorist attack on Americans will take place.  No decent American of any political persuasion would ever hope for such a thing.  The bald reality, however, is that the Al Qaeda and ISIS threats have been made, that their people are among us, that they are planning and have promised to do what they threaten.

Thus the odds for such a Moslem attack and for Zero’s impeachment are increasing in lock-step.  It will be a supreme irony if America’s first Moslem-sympathizer in the White House is forced out of it by Moslems.

If that be, how many will conclude it would be a textbook example of Divine Justice?
