HALF-FULL REPORT 08/22/14

It’s an understatement to say this has been an eventful week, reeking with horror, mayhem, and jaw-dropping Democrat thuggery.

Yet, at week’s end – at least Friday morning as this is written – the glass is turning out to be more than half-full.  The bad guys are taking it in the shorts from Austin to Ferguson to Donetsk to Gaza to Iraq. And it’s been a bad week for Zero too.

************

We’ll start with the good news about Raed Atar, Muhammad Abu Shamaleh, and Muhammad Barhoum:  they’re dead.  The three top Hamas military commanders were nailed in an IAF air strike yesterday (8/21).  It’s a Moral and Military Blow for Hamas, declared the Jerusalem Post.

Today (8/22) is the 45th day of the IDF’s Operation Protective Edge.  A group of Israeli soldiers being rotated out of Gaza wanted to thank their fellow Israelis for being so supportive of their efforts, for donating massive amounts of supplies, clothing, and food to them.

So the soldiers of Armored Infantry Brigade 360 Unit 3 made a video, released Monday (8/18) on YouTube, where they danced and played around to The Best Day of My Life by the American Authors rock band.  Joyously they lip synch the lyrics, "I stretched my hands out to the sky/ We danced with monsters through the night/ I’m never gonna look back/ Never gonna give it up."

At the end, they write (in Hebrew) that they want "to thank all of the nation of Israel for donating and helping to make our time in the Gaza Belt region more pleasant, and particularly more tasty." They then list particular people, families and organizations for their donations and aid.  Here it is.  If there’s hope for Israel, there’s hope for the world.

You may have noticed there’s a new YouTube graphic in the left side bar.  That’s a link to the TTP YouTube video channel.  I kicked it off with four vids of me that I hope you enjoy (and yes, one is the Arm Wrestling Putin saga).  Feel free to send them to everyone you know on earth.  We’ll be adding to our video library (and not just me pontificating!).  Let us know on the Forum what you think.

OK, here’s the question of the moment.  On January 20, 2017 when President-elect Perry takes the oath of office on the Capitol’s West Portico, will he have sent a thank you note and personal invitation to attend to Rosemary Lehmberg?

Over at Legal Insurrection, they’re calling Perry’s Tuesday (8/19) mugshot "the greatest mugshot in the history of mugshots," the Mugshot that Launched a Presidential Campaign.  The Den of Dem Corruption that is the Travis County DA’s office thought they could wage "lawfare" against the Texas Governor and destroy him like they did with my friend Tom DeLay.

As Jack Kelly says in TTP today, Backfire City.  Even though the Democrat National Committee has gone "all in" to destroy Perry, even the hyper-liberal Austin American-Statesman admits that what’s been destroyed is the Dem’s narrative on Perry’s indictment.

It’s one thing for Sen. Ted Cruz and fellow Gov. Bobby Jindal to denounce the persecution of Perry as a "witch hunt."  But when liberal legal icon Alan Dershowitz denounces it as "what happens in totalitarian societies,"  you know that Perry will come out of this "smelling like a Texas yellow rose."

"His very indictment is an embodiment of a government grown too big, too drunk on its own power, too politicized and too convinced of its immortality," says the IBD, especially since the Travis DA who’s indicting him is a foul-mouthed drunk.  Not just drunk and abusive in a DUI arrest, but a flat-out alcoholic who bought 23 gallons of vodka in little over a year at one single store.

On Tuesday (8/19), Perry released videos of the Drunk DA.  She’s destroyed, not him.  After his mugshot, Perry went to have ice cream – then flew to Washington to speak at the Heritage Foundation on the terrorist dangers of Zero’s open border policy.

As Jack Kelly tells me:

"Fortune favors the bold, and Fortune’s been smiling a lot lately on Rick Perry. Rarely these days (for Republicans, never) does a politician who messed up as royally as he did in that frightful debate come back on the national stage. But the re-emergence of illegal immigration as the most important issue in the midterms has restored Rick to the front rank.

If Zero does issue an executive order granting legal status to millions of illegals, Rick will be in a position to go mano a mano with him in a way other Republicans can only envy.

As governor for 12 years of the second largest state, Perry has something Zero, Slow Joe, Fauxcahontas and the PIAPs don’t — a record of success in governance. Among Republicans, only Scott Walker’s is comparable.

Now that he’s standing straight up against Democrat lawfare thuggery like no other Republican, Perry’s earned his comeback. He may now win the presidency."

Another Dem narrative bit the dust this week.  The Dems thought they could ruin Perry like they did DeLay and failed.  In Missouri, they thought they had another Trayvon Martin in Michael Brown, the old white-racist-murders-innocent-black teen shtick that the Sharptons and other race hustlers thrive on.

Call it the Epic Fail of Ferguson.  As fact after fact dismantled the narrative brick by brick – instead of an innocent little teenager, he was an 18 year-old 6-foot-four 292-pound giant who was videoed robbing a store; multiple witnesses say he attacked the cop, so violently that the officer suffered a fractured eye socket; he was shot not running away but charging back at the cop who was clearly in fear of his life —  the Enemedia Circus has quit and is leaving town.

The Ferguson streets are calm as Gov. Nixon withdraws the National Guard.

Best news of all: Yesterday’s (8/21) "National Day of Rage" organized by the Anonymous "hacktivists" was a complete bust. Hahaha!

Of course, the whole farce may explode again when the local grand jury finds the evidence that Brown was the aggressor so overwhelming that it cannot issue an indictment against Officer Darren Wilson.  Then, facing uncontrollable riots again, our Racist Attorney General will appoint a Special Prosecutor to destroy Officer Wilson’s life (and that of his family) completely.

Yet such a blowup egged on by a demented Injustice Dept. may backfire.  St. Louis County grand juries meet once a week, and its determination most likely won’t be made until sometime in October.  A subsequent blowup would clearly impact a large number of votes on November 4th in races across the country.  Holder may be ordered to cool it and may not get the Race War he wants – too many Dem seats may be at stake.

It’s been a no-good week for Zero.  Much of the world press lost it when he went directly from giving a speech deploring the beheading of James Foley by ISIS protohominids to yukking it up on the golf course.  The New York Daily News Cover yesterday (8/21):

o_daily_new_golf_war.png

In the cover story, Obama’s Duty to Act, the disgust was palpable: "he signaled disdain for the gravity of the moment by going from the presidential podium straight to a vacation round of golf."

The London Daily Mail denounced his "fist bump" on the course, then ran a second story this morning:  Playing Golf AGAIN – Obama Tees Off for the Second Time in 24 Hours after He Solemnly Pledged Justice for Beheaded Journalist James Foley.  Read the whole story with all the pics – you’ll want to throw up.

But disdain for everyone who doesn’t worship him, for a country and world that has ceased worshipping him, is what a narcissist is all about.

************

There’s only one way to describe members of the ISIS Moslem terrorist group, such as those who so grotesquely decapitated James Foley:  human garbage.  They have ceased being human beings in any moral sense of the term, and thus possess no rights whatever of any kind.  They simply must be eliminated as quickly and efficiently as possible like a mad dog.

That said, there is no need to go hyperbolic apocalyptic, as SecDef Chuck Hagel is doing, describing them as Super-Terrorist comic book villains "unlike anything we’ve ever seen."

To the contrary, with just the pale green light Zero has tentatively given US air power, the besieged Yazidis on Mt. Sinjar were rescued and ISIS has been kicked out of controlling the Mosul dam.  As Charles Krauthammer notes:

"The Islamic State is overstretched. It’s a thin force of perhaps 15,000 trying to control a territory four times the size of Israel. Its supply lines, operating in open country, are not just extended but exposed and highly vulnerable to air power."

And indeed, the US Navy reports this week (8/20) that its F/A-18s are using Laser JDAMS to destroy "ISIL mobile artillery positions, convoys and other strategic targets."  It will take much more than this, and an airwar must be conducted in Syria as well, noted Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey yesterday (8/21).

They are not comic book evil genius super-villains, they’re psychotics believing in a demented medieval religion.  All you have to do is keep killing them until there aren’t any more of them – and there is no doubt whatever that we have the firepower to do just that.  All Zero has to do is say to Dempsey, "Do what it takes."  Then he can go back to the golf course.

Oh, yes, here’s some good ISIS news.  That putz who bragged that "the flag of Allah" would soon wave over the White House?  He’s dead, killed in Syria this week.

Then there’s Ukraine.  The good news is that, as the New York Times reports (8/19), the rebellion sponsored by Putin Huilo is falling apart.

All the Russian leaders Putin sent to run the "Donetsk Peoples Republic" (how’s that for a classic Soviet label?) have fled back to Russkieland.  Local "separatists" are all fighting among themselves, there’s no mass support by Ukrainians who live there, the "rebellion is crumbling," and Putin is "maneuvering for a face-saving settlement… a way to escape a losing situation without puncturing his strongman image."

That was Tuesday.  This morning (8/22), the NYT is reporting what may be the start of Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine: "Russian military has moved artillery units manned by Russian personnel inside Ukrainian territory in recent days and was using them to fire at Ukrainian forces."  So much for face-saving escape maneuvers.

This is far from over.  The EU will now have to tighten its sanctions further, perhaps targeting Gazprom directly.  There’s no way that Putin can win this with his economy so weak and vulnerable.  But the fighting in the meantime will continue, this time with undisguised overt Russian military.  That could be interesting, as Russian special forces teams are good, but most regular Army soldiers are either drunk or Moslem.

Before any final debacle, the Russkie b’aire oligarchs may be so close to bankruptcy their only option is pay for a coup and Putin to be suicided.  Fate is closing in on the Putin Huilo, as it has on so many Czars before him.
