HALF-FULL REPORT 12/27/13

Well, here we are – the last HFR of 2013.  We start looking forward to what’s in store for 2014 next week.  For now, let’s reflect on what’s been going on in the world.

The best political cartoonist in the country is the IBD’s Mike Ramirez.  On Christmas Eve (12/24), he epitomized the year-long train wreck of the Republican Establishment:

  
And sure enough, right on cue, yesterday (12/26) Reince Preibus issued a RNC statement wishing everyone a "Happy Kwanzaa!" – proving Ramirez right about the GOP being the Stupid Spineless Party.

Veteran TTPers may recall the Dennis The Wizard column on computer security and technology written by my dear friend Dennis Turner.  Dennis passed away in June 2007 (the link is my eulogy), and when I saw that idiotic RNC statement I thought of him.  As a student at UCLA in 1965, he had gotten to know a fellow in his poli-sci classes named Ron Everett.

Dennis was wicked smart and just as funny.  He’d eviscerate Everett’s Black Marxist mumbo-jumbo but so hilariously that they became friends.  One day Everett told Dennis he decided to change his name to Rod Karenga, and he was going to invent a holiday for Black Americans to compete with Christmas, as Christianity was a form of white racist suppression.  He’d call it "kwanzaa."

When Dennis asked what that meant, Everett said, "It’s some Swahili word meaning ‘harvest’ or something – or so one of the students from Tanganyika told me."  "You know of course this is total BS," Dennis kidded Everett.  "Sure," Everett admitted.  "But it will work – because all those useful idiots in the white guilt press will pretend it’s real."

They both laughed their heads off, as Dennis was fond of telling me.  Everett had white libtards nailed.  He as Karenga went on to serve time in prison for horrifically torturing a woman, and is today the Chairman of the Africana Studies department at Cal-State Long Beach.

"Kwanzaa" is a true Emperor-has-no-clothes story.  It’s publicly known and admitted as a complete anti-Christian fabrication – yet the libtards continue to genuflect towards it and honor Karenga for inventing it.  The RNC’s jumping with both feet into the fraud is one final reason of the year that the entire GOP Establishment has to be dismantled.

Although Pope Francis was chosen as TIME’s "Person of the Year" for 2013, a close second was Edward Snowden, whom many thought should have won.  It was disheartening to see Dick Cheney call him a "traitor," and Jim Woolsey wanting to see him "hanged by his neck until he is dead."

This means that they, along with other prominent conservatives are in full support of the NSA Surveillance State, and have no idea of how massive a threat it is to freedom in America.  Snowden’s exposing that threat was clearly the greatest contribution to the preservation of that freedom for the year.

On Wednesday (12/25), British television aired an "Alternative Christmas Message" by Snowden (as in alternative to the Queen’s).  In less than two minutes, he showed an understanding that Cheney, Woolsey et al don’t have – that the Surveillance State is flat-out Orwellian, and if it is not stopped, "A child born today will grow up with no conception of privacy at all. They’ll never know what it means to have a private moment to themselves — an unrecorded, unanalyzed thought."

Then he says something that should be tattooed on the forehead of every "I’ve got nothing to hide" lamebrain apologizer for the NSA:

"Privacy matters. Privacy is what allows us to determine who we are and who we want to be." He gets it.  Freedom is more important than security.  Security without freedom is fascism.

The journalist through whom Snowden revealed NSA mass spying on all of us to the world is Glenn Greenwald.  Yesterday (12/26), he appeared on MSNBC, where the anchor (Kristen Welker) accused him of not being a real journalist by simply "a spokesman for Edward Snowden."

Greenwald immediately schooled her:  "I think that’s ludicrous is what I say to that. Every journalist has an agenda. We’re on MSNBC now, where close to 24 hours a day the agenda of President Obama and the Democrat Party are promoted, defended, glorified, the agenda of the Republican Party is undermined. That doesn’t mean the people who appear on MSNBC aren’t journalists, they are."

It is ironic in the extreme that Snowden had to take asylum in Russia.  Far more and bitterly so is that the Land of Freedom, America, is fast becoming a Fascist Police State – and not just on a national government level, but on the state and local level as well.  Virtually every small town above 25K population has a militarized SWAT Team police department today.

This week, the citizens of Salinas, California were outraged to see their cops charging through town in a $650,000 armored  vehicle like Nazi storm troopers.  Just look at the picture in the link to see why.

This is happening in countless communities everywhere in our country right now.  If you want to start taking action to regain our American freedom, a very good place would be demanding the de-militarization and de-SWATifcation of the police where you live.

Another hideous example of our Fascist Police State has become a full-blown international incident.  On December 12, the Deputy Consul General of India for India’s consulate in New York City, Devyani Khobragade, was arrested by armed DSS (State’s Diplomatic Security Service) agents for "visa fraud," and transferred to U.S Marshalls, who proceeded to strip search her including a "cavity search."

Yes, that means they physically probed her vagina and anus to see if she was hiding something.   That’s what these perverts did to this beautiful young lady diplomat:

 
Believe it or not, these fascist cop perverts are denying they did no such thing, when there is a videotape on YouTube of it.  It is unspeakably disgusting.

Now it turns out that some idiot at State misread her visa ap, confusing her salary with her maid’s.  So this innocent woman has been humiliated and traumatized in front of the world, Holder Justice is refusing to drop the charges against her, all John F’n Kerry can say he "regrets" what happened, while all of India is in livid anti-American outrage and burning pictures of Zero in street protests.

Today (12/27), the damage escalated with the Indian government announcing they would be investigating American diplomats and US staff in their schools for possible tax violations.  Last week, a number of diplomatic privileges for US officials in India, including US Ambassador Nancy Powell, were revoked.

Let’s hope New Delhi’s next demand is that the pervert officers who mistreated Ms. Khobragade be arrested for human rights abuses and be subjected to a full cavity strip search. 

The most awful aspect to this for Americans, however, should be that such a strip search, according to the NYPD and US Marshalls, is "standard procedure" for all arrestees.  Standard procedure.

The old joke that "a conservative is a liberal who’s been mugged, while a liberal is a conservative who’s been arrested" takes on new meaning.  Ms. Khobragade’s inhuman treatment should be an outrage to Americans as well as Indians. 

Watch that YouTube video again and imagine that happening to you or your wife or children.  Standard procedure in America now.  We really are becoming a Fascist Police State before our very eyes.

Another country infuriated with the Zero Regime is Israel.  Last month, John F’n Kerry went to the "West Bank" – i.e., Judea and Samaria and had the effrontery to call Israeli communities there "illegitimate." 

In response, on Wednesday (12/25) Israeli television reported that Bibi would announce "massive construction" of more such communities – the global enemedia insists on calling them "settlements" – next week.

"Israel to Defy US with More Settlements" ran the headline in the Capitol Hill newspaper.

Good for Bibi.  Now if he’d just follow such defiance up with an all-out go-for-the-jugular Decapitation Strike on the Mullah Regime in Iran.  The Saudis are begging him to do it, and have offered their full cooperation, including refueling at Saudi airbases.

This week, 150 US Marines were flown to East Africa ready to be injected into Africa’s latest civil war.  On Wednesday (12/25), the UN doubled its peacekeeping force to 12,500 in South Sudan, where thousands have been killed in the last 10 days.

For the best background briefing of what is going on in South Sudan, read The Newest African Farce in – where else – TTP (March 2011).  You’ll then quickly grasp that "rebel leader" Riek Machar is perpetrating this "civil war" as the puppet of (northern) Sudan’s leader Omar al-Bashir, one of the world’s most evil rulers.

This is another example of how often, when you want to understand something about the world, it helps to see what there is about it in TTP.

Meanwhile, let’s pray that our Marines perform their mission and get out of African Dodge safe and sound.  Sudan, north or south, is not worth their dying for.

Is South Carolina’s Nikki Haley our kind of Governor or what?  Yesterday (12/26), she proudly told her Facebook fans what she got for Christmas:

"Our family had a wonderful Christmas together! I must have been good — Santa gave me a Beretta PX4 Storm."

You can be sure that Gov. Haley will be on Ted Cruz’s short list as his running mate in 2016.

Tim Draper is our kind of billionaire.  On Monday (12/23) the London Daily Mail reported that, as one of the founders of Hotmail and Skype, his latest project is to divide up his native state into Six Californias  – with one of them being Silicon Valley.  He wants "the world’s tech hub" to have its own laws free of Sacramento, and be able to "reinvest the money it makes in research and development instead of funding welfare programs."

He thinks that six independent California states instead of one will "encourage more competition and less monopolistic power."  It will take voters’ referendum approval, however, plus that of Congress.  Odds are that Draper will instead team up with Pay-Pal co-founder Peter Thiel who is planning to build a "Libertarian Island" 200 miles off the coast of San Francisco.

Out of US territorial waters and thus federalie jurisdiction, it would be its own nation state with "loose planning permission, no welfare, no minimum wage – and no restrictions on the weapons citizens could own."  Thiel calls his floating cities "seasteading," and has set up an R&D institute to pursue and promote it:  seasteading.org.

Maybe that’s where we’ll end up living some day.  Hopefully, though, we won’t have to in a post-Zero America.

We end the HFR for 2013 with evidence that supports a theory I’ve had for many years.  Pre-history fascinates me.  How no more than 150 of us escaped from Africa 50,000 years ago to spread out across the earth (yes, every non-black African on earth today is descended from those 150 people:  see Out of Africa, June 2007).  How Cro-Magnon man created the world’s first culture (see the Lascaux Caves). And especially, what prompted us to invent agriculture, abandoning hunting and gathering to create settled communities, and thus civilization?

I’ve always thought it wasn’t food that prompted us – we’d been successfully feeding ourselves for thousands of generations and right through the Ice Ages.  No, I thought it was beer.  To make beer, you have to settle down and grow grain. 

To my joyous surprise, it turns out that biomolecular archaeologists at the University of Pennsylvania have determined that The Beer Theory of Civilization is likely true!

After all, water can kill you with all the bad bugs in it.  Beer is much healthier.  And you feel so much better after a few brewskies.
