HALF-FULL REPORT 11/22/13

Most any American 60 years or older remembers where they were fifty years ago today.  I sure do.  I was getting a driver’s license test in Las Vegas, Nevada, and when the DMV examiner got in the car, he asked me to turn on the radio.

I thought it was a strange request so I asked why.  "Haven’t you heard?  The president has been shot."  I turned it on, and after a moment of chaotic talk, a solemn voice announced, "Ladies and gentleman, the President of the United States, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, is dead."

I tried to drive but so poorly I flunked the test.  My memory of that terrible day is seared into my synapses like all older Americans.  For the majority who are younger, however – 80% of Americans are under 60 – it’s not.  It’s something their parents told them about, or read about in a book, like McKinley or Garfield or Lincoln.

For those who lived through it, Kennedy’s assassination was traumatic in the extreme.  For many of us, what added to the trauma was that he was killed by a Communist, but that somehow it was "right-wing hate" that killed him.  The New York Times continues to hawk this libtard logic to this day.

What’s instructive at this point a half-century later is take the mythologizing of JFK as a warning that should elicit a prayer.

JFK cheated his way to the White House by having Chicago Mayor Richard Daley rig the vote in Illinois  and Lyndon Johnson do the same in Texas.  Out of 68,329,141 votes cast, Kennedy won the general vote by only 112,827 – but won the electoral vote by 303 to 219.

Even with Daley’s rigging, out of 4,746,834 votes, Kennedy won Illinois’ 27 ev’s by 8,858.  Johnson’s job as VP candidate was to deliver Texas’ 24 ev’s, which he did – out of 2,288,877 votes, Kennedy won by 46,257.  In other words, without Daley’s and LBJ’s vote fraud, Nixon would have gotten their states’ 51 ev’s, giving Nixon the win by 270 to 252.

But Nixon was a patriot, and declined to challenge, claim vote fraud, and demand a recount for the damage he thought it would do to America.

Kennedy was a president of little accomplishment and much failure – most glaringly the unforgivably botched Bay of Pigs fiasco and the almost-went-nuclear Cuban Missile Crisis. His best achievement was across the board tax cuts triggering an economic boom.  He had satyriasis and was a pathological womanizer.

He was not a evil man like LBJ, and certainly did not hate America as does Zero. He was fervently Anti-Communist. He was young, handsome, and charming, with a young, beautiful, and classy wife.  He was president for less than three years, then cut down in his prime.

That’s about it.  Yet Gallup says more Americans rank JFK as the most outstanding and accomplished president of modern times.  This is primarily due to the Left’s building a Camelot myth around him, which remains strong a half-century later.  The warning here is this:  should anything end Zero’s presidency in a tragic way, the Left and its Enemedia poodles will do exactly the same.

The Pubs would be castrated, helpless to prevent a Dem tsunami of freedom-destroying laws and rules in his deified name.  Thus the prayer:  that nothing happens to him in any way similar to the fate of JFK.

There are, however, two libtards this week so unspeakably vile that it’s easy to wish ill upon them.  The first is a coprophiliac named Martin Bashir, who revealed his perverted fantasies regarding Sarah Palin on MSNBC in words so despicable I’m not going mention or link to them.

What I don’t understand is why hasn’t Todd Palin challenged Bashir to a refereed boxing match or cage fight?  Millions would pay good money to watch on cable Bashir get his head bashed in.  I sure would.  Palin could donate the money to his favorite charity.  Not that Bashir would accept the challenge, being the ball-less yellow-belied coward that he is.

The second is a nobody named Ian Murphy who writes for Politico.  His deranged hatred for American soldiers is expressed here.  On Tuesday (11/19), he doubled down on his hatred, and that for Ronald Reagan here.  Better get yourself under control before you click the links – or else you may want to grab a baseball bat and hunt this guy down.

Some veteran, someday, will.  The sooner the better.

I’d like to thank those TTPers commenting on the Forum re yesterday’s Health Freedom as an Alternative to Obamacare Fascism.  I also appreciate many of you requesting that it be made Free Access.  What I’ll do is see how to incorporate your offered corrections and suggestions, then make it Free so all TTPers can send it out to the universe – and in particular to Pubs in DC.

One fellow to target specifically is Phil Roe.  He’s an OB-GYN physician, retired Major in the US Army Medical Corps, and a GOP Congressman from Tennessee.  He, Steve Scalise (R-LA), and 110 other colleagues are sponsoring HR 3121: The American Health Care Reform Act.

The bill not only repeals Zerocare in its entirety, but offers a version of some (far from all) of the proposals in the Health Freedom Legislation – such as enabling people to buy health insurance across state lines and small businesses to form risk pools.

Here is the full list of HR 3121 Co-Sponsors.  Anyone who represents you or with whom you may have a contact should be made aware of the proposed Health Freedom Legislation.  Give me a few days to adjust the article according to Forum comments, then you’ll be free to blast it out.  Let’s bring real health freedom to America!

Freedom took a real hit yesterday (11/21) however, when Harry Reid and 51 other Senate Dems voted to end filibusters.  Within hours, Zero celebrated with a Nomination Party, which now means automatic rubber-stamped appointments for the all the Marxist, anti-capitalist, anti-Constitution judges he wants.

Right amidst the greatest Dem disaster of modern times, the Obamacare Meltdown, Reid and Zero double down on their goal of achieving a full-blown Fascist America.  Every attempt of Senate Pubs to block this and gum up the works will be demonized by the Enemedia.

But Mitch McConnell is a very shrewd guy, and knows the Senate rules like Bobby Sheets Byrd did.  Watch for him to invoke endless procedural rules to slow the Senate to snail’s pace and drive Dirty Harry batty.  Reid’s dirty trick will put new life into a to-the-mattresses showdown over another shutdown vs. the Pubs rolling over on another Continuing Resolution to fund Zero’s deficit spending.  This show just got started.

On the bright side, in a 5-4 decision on Tuesday (11/19), the Supreme Court let Texas’ abortion restriction stand.  This infuriated Planned Parenthood and all other pro-infanticide fanatics.  Meanwhile, the most fanatically pro-abortion president in history continues to build an Orwellian Surveillance State to spy on all of us all the time.

Something very weird is going on here.  The most evil and pathetically-reasoned Supreme Court decision ever is Roe v. Wade (1973), which determined that the "right to privacy" discovered by the Justices in the "penumbra" of the Constitution (admitting it’s not in the Constitution itself) is "broad enough to encompass a woman’s decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy" (in the words of Justice Blackmun in the majority opinion).

Broad enough?  Today, this invented Constitutional right to privacy applies only to abortion and nowhere else. The slightest attempt to infringe upon it brings out hordes of harridans hysterically enraged that anyone would prevent them in any way from murdering their babies.

Here’s the question we should all be asking:  How come Roe can’t be used to ban the Surveillance State?  Surely Roe‘s "right to privacy" disallows the National Surveillance Agency from vacuuming everyone’s personal and financial data with no probable cause.  If Roe is the law of the land, we might as well use it to freedom’s advantage.  Let’s see if we can find some conservative legal outfit to jump on this.

Here’s welcoming news.  College kids, especially the young ladies, think those Hosurance ads meant to entice them to love Zerocare are sleazy and creepy.  Backfire City.  What’s really funny is how clueless are the libtard smart-aleck Xers who wrote the ads.

These guys in their 30s and 40s are too dumb to understand that folks in their 20s and teens are generationally different, they’re Millennials.  As such, they are not going to be taken in by libtard Xer tacky cynicism.

Hands down, the most enjoyably gratifying news of the week came yesterday (11/21) – the epic fail of the Warmist shakedown in Warsaw, Poland.  132 countries were demanding $100 billion a year until 2020 from the US and the West in "climate reparations" for causing global warming.  When the response was "take a hike," they did and walked out of the conference.

All the Greenie groups walked out too – like Greenpeace, WWF, Oxfam, and Friends of the Earth.  They are just oh so mad.  And to add insult to injury, on Wednesday (11/20), host country Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the firing of his Environment Minister who was the president of the Climate Convention.  His replacement, Tusk announced, will be tasked with the "radical acceleration of shale gas operations" in Poland.  Isn’t that simply delicious?

We’re going to end the week with a hot babe.  Hot as in WOW!  Hot as in:

She’s 24 year-old American huntress Melissa Bachman, incredibly skilled and passionate about hunting with bow, reel, handgun, shotgun, and rifle.

Last week (11/15), the London Telegraph ran a hit piece on her regarding her taking a male lion in South Africa, replete with pics of her over her lion, a huge black bear, a trophy elk, and a very large croc.

Anti-hunting libtards around the world exploded in fury.  The quotes in the Telegraph article were echoed tens of thousands of times.  Within four days (by 11/19), a petition demanding she be banned from South Africa had gained 245,000 signatures.  By yesterday, it had 400,000.

After South African officials ignored the petition and defended big game hunting in their country, the libtards started another petition yesterday demanding her cable TV show, "Winchester Deadly Passion," be taken off the air.  In 24 hours, it has almost 80,000 sign ups.

A Melissa Bachman Supporters Facebook page has now been set up, but it is being deluged with hate posts.  Just to tweak them, right after the page was launched, I posted this comment:

"Libtards can’t stand it that a young beautiful woman would do something so politically incorrect.  If she were an old gray-haired potbellied guy they wouldn’t be nearly as outraged.  The moral outrage of liberals is hilarious."

That really set them off.  Infuriating libtards is such a fun sport.  The sexism of their fury is so blindingly obvious and of course they are blind to it.  Melissa refuses to apologize to them or anyone else.  She has made a lucrative career at a young age doing precisely what she loves and is very good at.

She suggests that anyone going berserk over killing a beautiful trophy male lion should witness how he would normally die – being eaten by hyenas and jackals and his eyes plucked out by buzzards.  Instead, he will be on display in her trophy room, his magnificence preserved and admired.

Melissa Bachman should be a role model for young American girls to aspire to.  She is being smeared, insulted, and maligned by a crazed mob of looney leftie fanatics.  Her response is to smile, give her detractors a thanks-for-sharing shrug, and continue to enjoy her inspiring life.

And that’s why Melissa Bachman is the HFR Hero of the Week.
