HALF-FULL REPORT 07/12/13

While waiting for my flight in the airport lounge in Sofia, Bulgaria yesterday (7/11), it was hard to ignore the big TV monitor tuned to ABC News.  There was Diane Sawyer announcing the "latest development" of the Zimmerman trial, and up flashed the ABC intro graphic to start the story.

On one side of the screen was a picture of Zimmerman in the gray suit and tie he wears to the trial.  On the other side was a picture of Trayvon Martin – not as a six-foot tall 17 year old but as an angelic smiling 12 year-old.  It’s the same picture ABC uses to identify him on its website:

Rather than the hooded fellow confronting Zimmerman:

ABC – like CBS, NBC, CNN, the NYT, WaPo, HuffPo and every other libtard media outlet – does not even pretend to practice objective journalism.  They are overtly propaganda organs of the Left.

Somebody switched the channel to CNN – funny how many American news channels there are in Bulgaria – which was devoted to some lawyers discussing mindless minutiae of the trial.  Not a word about the real "latest development" – the disclosure on Wednesday (7/10) that Eric Holder’s Justice Department organized with taxpayer money racial protests and racial unrest against George Zimmerman.  

Jack Kelly calls the Zimmerman trial a "racist train wreck."  The trial’s coyote ugly judge, Debra Nelson, is so in the tank for Trayvon that her bias is as overt as the media’s.  Her behavior in the courtroom Wednesday was bizarre.  Andy McCarthy makes a compelling case that her rulings against the defense will obviously end up reversing any guilty verdict on appeal.

It is hard to believe, however, that this jury – any sane jury not in fear of their lives with death threats – could possibly find GZ guilty.

The best op-ed of the week on this racist farce is in Tuesday’s (7/09) IBD.  The case against Zimmerman is so weak and contrived that:

"It’s now clear that the decision to arrest Zimmerman and put him on trial – which again, came 44 days after Zimmerman was questioned and released – was, unconscionably, a political response to pressure from a race-obsessed president and his attorney general and the racial arsonists like Sharpton with whom they run.

This was rank corruption of our justice system to engineer a politically correct verdict, and it’s a frighteningly bad omen for the rule of law in this country."

It’s IBD’s conclusion that everyone needs to understand  — that any blood from planned race rioting will be on Obama’s hands.

What country are we talking about here?

America?  Some Euroweenie welfare state?  Nope.  Jeremy Warner, deputy editor of the London Telegraph, is talking about China.

China’s economy has "hit the wall," he says.  Its economic/social problems make ours look like "a stroll in the park."  All that talk of China overtaking the US as the world’s largest economy is "yesterday’s story."  Today’s story is that China’s boom is "dying of exhaustion."

Industrial pollution and poisoning on a scale never seen before is causing a "nightmare of ill health and curtailed life expectancy."  The misallocation of capital in China’s state-directed economy is on a historically unmatched "epic scale."  There now seems little doubt, Warner concludes, that China "will grow old before it gets rich."  The 21^st century, Warner says, will far more likely be America’s, not China’s.

The word for the HFR Heroes of the Week is WOW.  On Tuesday (7/09), Bloomberg ran a story about Israeli women demanding the right to pray at Jerusalem’s Western Wall – and getting death threats, vulgar insults, and eggs thrown at them by rioting "Ultra-Orthodox" men called Haredim. 

"Haredim" is Hebrew for "men with little schvantzes."  They are as afraid of women as Moslem men are.  They’re also afraid of serving in the IDF (Israeli military), and of working for a living (which is why they demand taxpayers support their reading the Torah all day instead of working).

It takes brave women to stand up to Haredim misogyny.  They are WOW – Women of the Wall.   We wish them success.

You’re undoubtedly familiar with the acronym JAP.  Jewish women normally can take a joke – which is why there are so many JAP jokes (What is the last thing a Jewish American Princess says to her kids before dinner?  "Come on, get in the car!").  But how about the acronym BAP? 

That stands for "Black American Princess."  BAPs are defined as "arrogant female blacks who flaunt their money around and demand the finest things in life."  Does that sound like the wife of a certain prominent politician who lives at the nation’s most prestigious address?

No doubt about it… Mrs. Zero is a BAP!

What’s not funny is the media’s focusing on the person of Edward Snowden, rather than the gigantically dangerous scandal of the NSA spying on all of us.  TTPer Ted Creedon has an inside perspective on the matter:

"The NSA has been intercepting and analyzing the entire electromagnetic spectrum since 1987 using multiple Tektronix 3052 realtime spectrum analyzers to capture signals for analysis by its supercomputers.

This is non-confidential information because NSA used commercially available off the shelf (COTS) equipment operated with instructions published by Tektronix.  The Tektronix 3052 instrument achieved ‘First Prize for Best Technology, WesCon 1988.’

The change from analog to digital communications since 1987 just makes interception that much simpler. However, the interception and transmission of data over government owned or controlled lines from the tap to the analysis system is a warrantless wiretap by definition.

By selfishly failing to warn Americans that this capability exists, the entire internet/cellular communication system is vulnerable to surveillance by hostile forces.  The arrogance of the NSA is beyond belief. Do they think that the Chinese, Russians and Indians are stupid?

In fact, the 3052 was designed by a polyglot mixture of Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese, Egyptian & American born engineers. I was one of the Americans.

The failure to provide encryption of all conversations, emails, etc. has left the entire Internet vulnerable to a cyber Pearl Harbor. Does NSA think that their software backdoors can’t be opened by reverse engineering? Or their viruses reverse engineered and ‘improved’?

At the very least, Generals Hayden, Alexander et al should be prosecuted and imprisoned on Unlawful Search & Seizure charges.  Not Snowden, to whom we owe a deep debt of gratitude for exposing our government’s criminal stupidity."

Last week we celebrated America’s 237^th birthday.  With every passing day now, the evidence piles up higher that America’s patriots – that’s us, conservatives, TeaPartyers, pro-defense libertarians – are on the side of decency, reason, and freedom, while those on the Left are not.

We are seeing the Left turning into a caricature of itself, with the Abortion Death Cult so totally embracing evil its mantra is now "Hail Satan!"  The Left’s pathological depravity is on full klieg light display this week with its demented determination to ruin an innocent man’s life – that of George Zimmerman – to further its Racist America narrative.  All so it can guilt-monger its way to more power over people’s lives.

And as the evidence piles ever higher, so does the sand pile – that of Zero’s that we talked about in Dinosaurs, Democracies, and the Deep State. 

The same day I wrote that (Wednesday, 7/10), Daniel Henniger in the Wall Street Journal wrote Big Government Implodes.  He argues that ObamaCare’s delay of the employer mandate on July 3 signals the federal government’s falling into a black hole – then caveats that by observing, "to call the U.S. federal government a black hole is a disservice to black holes."

Use what metaphor you want (as long as it’s not dinosaurs!) – sand or rice piles like Skye, hollow rice piles like Rockymount ( see their posts on the Forum), a House of Cards or the Tower of Babel – this whole federalie monstrosity is going to tumble down like the Walls of Jericho.

Be out of harm’s way when it does – e.g., not in an urban center, not in a Blue State – and be ready to take advantage of the vast opportunities the dangers will provide.  Just remember – the greater the danger, the greater the opportunity.  The London Telegraph’s Jeremy Warner is right – the 21^st Century being America’s is the way to bet.
