HALF-FULL REPORT 06/07/13

How can you drink water from a gushing firehose?  Trying to assimilate and get a fix on what’s going on this week will be like that.

Let’s get out of the weeds, step back and do some dot-connecting.  With scandals being piled on scandals – two massive ones breaking in just the last 24 hours – do they have anything in common?  To review the bidding, so far there’s the:

* Benghazi Cover-up of allowing 4 Americans to be murdered by Moslem Jihadis
* IRS Persecution of Conservative Groups
* DOJ Spying on journalists’ phone calls and AG Holder perjuring himself over it
* Sibelius Shakedown of healthcare providers for money to support Zerocare
* Verizon Seizure of millions of phone records by the NSA
* PRISM Seizure of all data from customers of Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Apple, Skype, and other Internet giants.

The overall theme characterizing all of this is:  fascist arrogance.  Zero’s boss, the Wicked Witch of the West Wing, Valerie Jarrett, epitomized this yesterday (6/06) when she announced on HuffPo TV that there was no way Eric Holder was going to resign.  He will, she promised, "be in his position for quite a while."

Benghazi exemplifies the brazenness of Zero’s lying.  Sibelius exemplifies Zero’s gangsterism.  Let’s focus more specifically on the remaining four:  IRS, DOJ, Verizon and PRISM.  They go beyond arrogance.  They are unmistakable evidence of the conversion of America into a fascist police state.

On the eve of Zero’s theft of last November’s election — he was so confidant of winning as he knew the cheating process was in place to guarantee it – he promised to "punish our enemies and reward our friends" during his second term.

About the same time, Jarrett was overheard telling her friends in Chicago:   "After we win this election, it’s our turn.  Payback time.  Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve." 

Their promises are coming true.  So much so that yesterday the Editorial Board of the New York Times denounced Zero’s government as having "lost all credibility."  (Note, however, that later editions added the weasel words "on this issue".)  So much so that key Dem operative and Zero defender Bob Beckel used the F-word describing what his hero is doing.  That F-word is "fascism."

Both of these denouncements are over Verizon.  PRISM is far worse.  The London Guardian broke the story last night, with the WaPo soon following.  A "career intelligence officer" provided them with a 41-slide PowerPoint presentation of the NSA’s PRISM project, which provides access to audio, chat, email, file transfers, and other data by users of almost every major Internet company.  The NSA (National Security Agency), the officer told WaPo, "quite literally can watch your ideas form as you type."

In response to the revelation about the NSA spying, the US Director National Intelligence, James Clapper, late last night called the disclosures "reprehensible" that could cause "irreversible harm" to our national security.

No, Director Claptrap – it is your NSA programs that are causing irreversible harm to our national security by enabling the Federal Government under Barack Obama to turn America into a Fascist Police State.

Note how the Internet giants are caught in a PRISM Catch-22.  Either they are lying in claiming they are unaware of NSA access to everything in their servers (the leaked info says it is with their full cooperation and knowledge) – or their servers are penetrated, meaning if the NSA can snoop, so can the Chicoms, the Kremlin and their buddies in Iran, and other bad guys.

As the lid blows off the Zero Presidency, one bottom line is that our Federal Government under Zero is far more dangerous to our freedom and security than any bunch of Moslem terrorists.  The threat of Jihadi crazies or money-launderers or druggies is being used to tyrannize us.  With every passing day now, this should become evermore blindingly obvious to most everyone.

We now need to connect the dots between the creation of Police State America and a decision of the Supreme Court this week.  That would be the 5-4 Maryland v. King, giving police anywhere in the US the authority to get the DNA of anyone arrested as they can get a fingerprint or photo.

The decision proves Scalia (scroll to his Dissent starting on page 33 of the decision) is the only real defender of freedom on the Court, and that Roberts’ brain has turned to mush after upholding Zerocare.

First, the practical disaster.  It’s much easier to salt a crime scene with someone’s DNA than with their fingerprints. Just swab their computer keyboard or desk or chair or car seat and then plant the collected DNA at the crime scene.  Vastly easier than trying to plant fake fingerprints.  The Maryland decision will encourage this.

The real danger, however, is what various government agencies can do with your DNA once they have it, what forms of control over your life would they have access to?

"Authorities" might decide that you have genes predisposing you to schizophrenia: no guns for you!  Or that it would be a "waste of resources" to treat your cancer. Or that you would more likely than average to be disobedient to authority.

Your DNA is not your photo, it’s your blueprint.  Giving fascists your blueprint is an open-sesame invitation to manipulate it or control you.  We certainly can no longer hold out any hope that the Supreme Court will be a protector of freedom.

How about a Trio of Heroes this week?  We already have an extraordinary Hero of the Week, Becky Gerritson, as you know from yesterday’s When Will Americans be Americans Again?  But there’s three more heroic folks to mention.

First, is Florida Gov. Rick Scott, who on Tuesday (6/04) vetoed a bill passed by the loonies in the state legislature giving driver’s licenses to illegals. Go Rick!

Second, is six-time Pro Bowl center of the current Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens, Matt Birk, who refused to meet Zero at the White House yesterday (with the Ravens as SB XLVII champs).  Birk explained:

"Five or six weeks ago, our president made a comment in a speech, ‘God bless Planned Parenthood,’ (which) performs about 330,000 abortions a year.  I’m very confused by his statement. For God to bless a place where they’re ending 330,000 lives a year? I just chose not to attend." 

Movie star rugged handsome, Birk is 6-4 with 310 pounds of muscles bigger than Arnold’s.  Any how many NFL players do you know who graduated from Harvard?  What’s more, his degree is in economics.  He is one smart, formidable conservative – and since he just retired, watch how fast he’s recruited to run for Congress.

Third is 18 year-old Ray Costner IV, the valedictorian of his graduating class at Liberty High School in Pickens County, South Carolina.

In keeping with his school district’s new rule banning prayers that reference any specific religion, he submitted a PC-secular valedictorian speech that was approved by the faculty.  Up on the podium in his cap and gown, however, he took out his approved speech, ripped it in half, and explained, "We’re going to have to use a different speech."

"Those that we look up to, they have helped carve and mold us into the young adults that we are today," he began. "I’m so glad that both of my parents led me to the Lord at a young age. And I think most of you will understand when I say…"

He then recited the Lord’s Prayer.  There was a moment of shock, then the audience, all of whom were well aware of the school board’s anti-prayer rule, began cheering and applauding wildly.  It took a teen-age kid to give the adults a lesson in courage. The HFR is proud to salute Ray Costner IV.

Today (6/07), the BLS announced the national unemployment rate rose to 7.6%.  But on Wednesday (6/05), an article in Wall Street Journal – The Hidden Jobless Disaster – showed why less attention should be paid to unemployment, and far more the employment rate.  That’s the number of people working as a percentage of the population.  That’s dropped, and badly.  The WJS asks:

"Why have so many workers dropped out of the labor force and stopped actively seeking work? Partly this is due to sluggish economic growth. But research by the University of Chicago’s Casey Mulligan has suggested that because government benefits are lost when income rises, some people forgo poor jobs in lieu of government benefits-unemployment insurance, food stamps and disability benefits among the most obvious. The disability rolls have grown by 13% and the number receiving food stamps by 39% since 2009.

"These disincentives to seek work may also help explain the unusually high proportion of the unemployed who have been out of work for more than 26 weeks. The proportion of unemployed who are long-termers reached 45% in April 2010 and again in March 2011. It is still above 37%. During the early 1980s, when the economy experienced a comparable recession, the proportion of long-term unemployed never exceeded 27%."

What the WSJ doesn’t say is that this is no accident, comrades.  It’s Zero’s goal – get people off work and on the dole, make them dependent on you so they’ll vote for you.  The real problem is the House Pubs, who know this, yet don’t have the guts to defund the dependency scam.
