What a hornet’s nest on the TTP Forum got stirred up by that Congressista’s questioning of Social Security in The Traitor in the White House.  I guess some clarification is required.

He meant it as a "teachable moment," a thought experiment to demonstrate that just as his conservative audience was determined no matter what to demand their Social Security payments, so is everyone else in America who’s receiving some sort of government payout.  He thus sees truly cutting government spending as a hopeless task.

He was not questioning Social Security, and was quite interested – as were his two colleagues – in the concept of selling off federal lands (1/3 of the entire US) to pay owed SS benefits when I mentioned it.  But his thought experiment backfired, both in his townhall meeting and the TTP Forum because of the visceral emotions surrounding SS.

Here’s my perspective.  People have been conned by government scammers into thinking that SS taxes are somehow different from income or other taxes.  All the money taken by force or extortion by the federalies was earned by those from whom it was taken, yet only SS money must be paid back because it’s in some higher dimension of being "earned."

No it’s not.  Whatever money you ever put into SS for however many years is long, long gone, comingled with money spent on thousands of unconstitutional government boondoggle programs, or distributed to SS recipients older than you.  Every dime of any SS check received by you today is not your money, it’s someone else’s, younger people’s money extorted from their paychecks – or borrowed in deficit spending which unborn children in the future are expected to pay.

Social Security is a government racket, a gigantic Ponzi Scheme.  There is no Trust Fund.  It does not exist.  Your money has been spent.  Suppose you get mugged in an alley by a thug with a .38 snubnose in your ribs and you give him all the money in your wallet.  You plead with him not to take everything.  He promises to give you some of your money back as soon as he steals more money from someone else.  The government is no different.

Actually, the government is far more immoral than the mugger.  The purpose of Social Security is to make people dependent on government.  Even conservatives, most especially conservatives.  That emotion, that visceral angry demand to get a government check because they "earned" it is exactly and precisely what the federalies want conservatives to have, because the federalies own them like everyone else who’s government dependent (and has the same visceral anger when their particular dependency is threatened).

And that was the Congressista’s point.  Until conservatives recognize and reject the government-dependency con of Social Security, we can just forget about cutting back Leviathan.

I personally look at SS taxes as stolen and gone just like all others. Stealing money is what governments do, and SS money is no different. I’ll be 70 this year and have never filed for nor ever intend to receive one dime of SS payments.  The very thought of doing so makes me nauseous.

This is a personal decision, and is in no way to criticize  anyone who is getting back at least something of what government thieves stole from them.  It’s their visceral anger that conservatives need to reflect on, and realize that’s just what the federalies want them to feel.

Yesterday (2/21), Rush Limbaugh told the nation, "For the first time in my life, I’m ashamed of my country."  It’s because of the country at large being suckered by Zero’s threats that Sequestration will be the end of the world as we know it.  I’m glad Rush finally got around to this.  The first time I was ashamed of my country is when it elected Zero in 2008.

I’d quote Rush, but he says too much that’s quotable – you should read it entire.  Basically, though, his point is essentially mine above:  so many Americans, including conservatives, are into government-dependency of whatever variety (and they are endless) that it causes hopeless despair – in Rush and that Congressman at dinner.

To reiterate the point:  when even conservatives feel, deeply and strongly, that they cannot make ends meet without a government check, then it’s Game Over.

What we need is a New Game.  How do we start it?  First, move to Texas – or rural Nevada, or some solid anti-Blue place where you can retain your freedom and your guns, while getting out of the way of Federalie and Blue State collapse.

The BUFA – bottom line up front – is that multi-trillion dollar deficits combined with ever-increasing strangulation of private enterprise through federalie fascist regulation cannot go on for much longer.  (That includes SS checks, by the way.)

How much longer depends on the extent Zero oversteps himself to catalyze it.  Outright gun seizure could do it, forcing people to physically fight back.  A surge in interest rates could, which would explode the deficit.  There are any number of "black swans" – game-changing events always "unexpected" by powers-that-be – that could precipitate a sudden inability of the federalies to function.

When that happens – and it will, for the insanely massive Rube Goldberg complexity of the federal government makes it massively fragile – you need to be somewhere that can withstand the shock and what’s more, take advantage of it.  You have to be in a place where you can increase your freedom and sovereignty, rather than crushed.

Skye makes out a persuasive case for rural Nevada.  Jason (Mitch Rapp) makes it for Texas.  Kermit makes it for Louisiana.  Get on the Forum with them and others to discuss options and alternatives.  There are overseas options too, but that’s pretty radical.  Most of us want to find a "hurricane hole" in America to ride out the gathering storm.

Whatever your choice is, make it.  The storm is coming.  Prepare for it, and prepare for the expansion of your freedom, not its contraction, in the aftermath.

************

One clear way to prepare is to maximize your health and longevity.  This storm could last a while.  You can’t do better in this regard than be at the TTP co-sponsored Life Enhancement Symposium in Las Vegas next month, March 22-24.

This is an extraordinary and uniquely rare opportunity to learn the latest developments in optimizing and extending your life from a number of the best experts in the field, most especially the smartest man I’ve ever known in my life, Durk Pearson.

If you are or are considering attending, Durk and his partner Sandy Shaw have a message for you:

We (Durk & Sandy) would like you to know that:

. We rarely travel and this will be our first joint presentation in several years.

. We’ll be leaving plenty of time for questions, so be sure to bring yours

. We’ll be there for the entire 3 days, available for one-on-one discussions

. There’ll be lots of opportunities for taking photos, if you wish.  Photos of us can be taken for your personal use, but photos of us cannot be used for commercial promotions without our prior written approval.

We’ll be telling you about:

. Recent advances in designing personal health maintenance and antiaging regimens.

. A new surprising antioxidant that selectively blocks the most deadly form of free radical, the hydroxyl radical, while having less effect on beneficial physiological signaling by other radicals such as superoxide.

. How the "secrets" of the way genes are turned on and off are being rapidly discovered.

. How, in biology, the technology being used to determine gene expression and signal transduction is expanding at a rate that depends upon silicon.  Hence, biological information (like computer power) is rapidly approaching the prediction of Moore’s Law.

. How to fight cancer the modern way with a multi-pronged attack on several targets using natural substances and, when appropriate, chemotherapy that works along with natural substances.

 . And much, much more!

A lot more.  I guarantee what you’ll learn will blow you away in its value to your life.

I’m writing this in Dubai, from where in a few hours, I depart for Mogadishu, Somalia.  Jack Kelly will be at the HFR helm next week.  I’m embarking on a frenzy of remote travel for the next while, so I am exceedingly grateful that the HFR will be in his capable hands.  As many of you know, TTP is my labor of love, while I make a living leading expeditions.

It’s a labor of love because of TTPers.  We’re going to get through this spasm of lunacy our country has spiraled into, we’re going to come out of it more free than ever, and we’re going to do it together.
