HALF-FULL REPORT 01/11/13

On Wednesday (1/09), we saw the greatest headline ever posted on Drudge:

 
It was linked to a Weekly Standard story on Zero’s considering an Executive Order to effect gun control without legislation from Congress.  It gave CommieMedia libtards the vapors, as chronicled by the Washington Examiner.  They can’t stand it whenever someone reveals they worship an Evil Messiah.

Yet, in truth, there is in fact an enormous difference between Zero and Hitler-Stalin.  Hitler and Stalin were both rabidly crazed nationalists, determined at whatever cost to conquer other peoples and subject them to Germany or Russia.

Zero, on the other hand, is a rabidly crazed anti-nationalist, determined at whatever cost to destroy his own country.  He is filled with hatred and contempt for America, as neither Hitler nor Stalin were towards their own countries. 

Zero is at the extreme end of American liberalism, which has always been characterized, at a minimum, by embarrassment.  Liberals are embarrassed to be Americans, embarrassed over the very existence of America and in a state of constant apology for it – look what we did to the Indians, our Founders owned slaves, we’re racist imperialist capitalist war-mongers, blah-blah-blah.

This is why Zero – who feels free to take his phony-nice mask off in a second term and expose who he really is – has nominated three  revolting embarrassed-to-be-American libtards to be in charge of our defense, foreign policy, and intelligence security.

For anyone with a normal, rational desire to defend America in the world, it is flat-out deranged to want Chuck Hagel, John Kerry, and John Brennan to run Defense, State, and the CIA.  As Melanie Phillips observes:

"These three men, Hagel, Brennan and Kerry, are all examples of post-Vietnam demoralization syndrome – the deeply pessimistic belief that America cannot and should not fight to defend its security and values anywhere in the world…These are people who are the living embodiment of civilizational exhaustion and decline. In any healthy society, they would be considered marginal, third-rate figures characterized variously by moral spinelessness, stupidity and knuckle-dragging prejudice."

While their nominations are, for Phillips, "beyond terrifying, beyond belief," even more so would be the moral spinelessness of Senate Republicans should they fail to block their confirmation.  Yet the only one whom they’ll probably stymie is Hagel, because he really is a disgusting anti-Semite, and even more important for senate collegiality, he’s an obnoxious schmuck cordially disliked by both Dem & Pub senators.

That’s as much blocking energy the Pubs will have.  It is "beyond belief" that an outright traitor like John Kerry with his three phony Purple Hearts and phony Silver Star will sail through confirmation as SecState, but even the Swift Boaters are wimping out on this. 

Jihadi John Brennan will most likely sail through too, once he gets past Lindsay Graham’s hold.  And what of a fourth nominee, Jack Squiggle Lew, Zero’s current chief of staff, for Treasury?  Larry Kudlow is sure he’ll get it, even though:

"He has no financial experience. He has no international experience. He has no currency experience. He ripped off Citibank for a couple of million dollars. He was there for one year… It is completely irresponsible… A nutty appointment."

America’s death wish continues apace.

Yet… the worse it gets the better it gets.  A perfect example is Zero’s attempts at gun control.  Result?  100,000 new NRA members in 18 days, and gun/ammo sales through the roof.

We need to put an end to Zero’s fascism quickly, we can’t let it linger and fester.  So the faster fascism reaches the breaking point, the stronger resistance to it will be. 

Cynics will ask, is there such a breaking point, beyond which Americans will rebel like 1775?  Federal Fascism is already so monumental that it seems the American sheeple no longer have rebellion in their genes.  Let’s hope the gun issue will be the breaking point.  There could be others.

One thin reed of hope is the House Pubs will force a government shutdown over deficit spending as many are promising to do. They say the odds of a shutdown are now (1/10) better than 50-50.

A far better hope lies with Red State governors and legislatures. This week (1/09), for example, a bill was introduced in the Wyoming state legislature: The Firearm Protection Act.  Its primary sponsor, Rep. Kendell Kroeker, thinks it has an excellent chance of passage.  The law’s key provision:

"Any official, agent or employee of the United States government who enforces or attempts to enforce any act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the United States government upon a personal firearm, a firearm accessory or ammunition that is owned or manufactured commercially or privately in Wyoming and that remains exclusively within the borders of Wyoming shall be guilty of a felony and, upon conviction, shall be subject to imprisonment for not less than one (1) year and one (1) day or more than five (5) years, a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), or both."

Game on!

Now for the most hilariously gratifying headline of the new year:  Obama Supporters Shocked and Angry over New Tax Increases. ROTLMAO.

Actually, this is more than schadenfreude.  The angrier people are at Washington the better.  This might even cause some to question their worship of Zero.  More significantly, it could result in a tax revolt like what is happening in Britain.  The news there is that tax fraud and evasion has exploded.

To be perfectly clear, TTP in no way whatever advocates illegal tax avoidance.  This is merely to predict that increasing numbers of regular Americans are going to do whatever it takes to keep their money in their own pockets and not the federalies’.  What started the American Revolution was a tax revolt – the Boston Tea Party on December 16, 1773.  Will we see the Tax Revolt of 2013?

Or there easily could be a Zerocare Revolt.  Health insurance rates are now skyrocketing.  Companies like Wendy’s are slashing employee hours to avoid Zerocare costs. 

As the nightmare of Zero’s health care ruination becomes more and more unbearable with each passing month now, the Year of the Backlash the HFR has been predicting may well focus on getting rid of Zero’s health fascism – if not through legislation, then by every form of legal and illegal avoidance imaginable.

One clear bottom line for 2013.  More and more, in every kind of financial transaction – buying guns, healthcare, any kind of stuff, service or labor – people are going to be saying, "My name is cash."  America’s underground economy is going to grow exponentially.

Speaking of the underground.  There’s a growing, and very sotto voce discussion among some conservative activists and Pub Hill staffers about how to ultimately destroy the Left.  "If you really want to screw the Left," they say, "legalize drugs."

Here’s how one of them put it.  He has a degree in chemistry from Berkeley (where else?), and he’s a staffer on the House Science Committee.

"There are synthetic drugs now, like fentanyl and other reverse ester analogues, that are far stronger than natural opiates.  They bind to the receptors just like opiates but orders of magnitude more so.  Fentanyl, for example, is 100 times more powerful than morphine. 

Yet they cost pennies, even fractions of a penny for a dose effective enough to get a druggie stoned.  85% of street crime now is over illegal drugs.  How many murders of bootleggers are there in the US today?  Just about none.  Make drugs legal and you’ll have an enormous reduction in crime and violence. 

Instead of killing people to get money for drugs, druggies getting high for a penny will be couch potatoes giggling at Comedy Central.

So we can sell drug legalization with this argument.  But here’s the real benefit to us.  Libtards want instant gratification and you can’t beat opiates or their synthetics for that – and they want someone else to pay for it. Make it a penny a day – less than a penny –  no problem paying for that.  They’ll be stoned all the time.  Enough members of Food Stamp Nation will be too stoned to vote or care, enough to counter Dem vote fraud and swing an election to us.

It’s true that addicts will eventually die of malnutrition-induced disease, as they won’t care about food.  But we say, when your enemies want to destroy themselves, don’t get in their way.  Help them get rid of themselves.

For conservatives, on the other hand – the producers not the parasites, the makers not the takers – this is no threat, as they will all be working for a living instead of wasting their lives. 

We’ve got to do something very radical and dramatic.  As Nile Gardner is asking, how can America survive when 128 million Americans are on the dole?  This is what the Dems and the Left have done to our country.  Want payback?  Want to ruin the Left bad?  Legalize drugs.  The Left and the Democrat Party will never recover."

So far, this is very private talk.  But you can expect to hear the legalization = less crime argument emerge.  No one will ever admit to the Machiavellianism.
