Is John Galt Chinese?

Star Alliance is the world’s largest airline confederation.  This full page ad appears in every current in-flight magazine of all its 26 member carriers worldwide.  It is an explicit up yours/bird flip/thumb nose to Zero and his infamous "You didn’t build/earn that" Marxism.

The ad’s endorser, Wang Shi, is a very interesting man.  In his palm is an image of one of the many giant skyscrapers he’s built as chairman of China Vanke, China’s largest property developer.  He’s climbed Mount Everest, and all the other "Seven Summits" (the highest peak in all seven continents).  "Life is one adventure after another," he says.  My sentiments exactly.

He’s not only an entrepreneurial capitalist, he’s proud of it and has nothing but contempt for anyone who thinks he should apologize for his success.  That most certainly includes the fraudulently elected President of the United States.

You know we live in an upside-down universe when John Galt is Chinese who exults in insulting the American president for being a virtual Communist.

When I was talking about a nascent Secessionist America yesterday (The One Number That Can Keep America Intact), it frankly didn’t occur to me to include Michigan – even though it’s one of the 24 All-Red states (Pub Gov+both legislatures).  Yet at the very time of writing yesterday (12/06), Michigan’s Pub-controlled House and Senate passed right-to-work legislation, blowing up the unions’ stranglehold on both public and private workforces (and killing the unions’ cash cow), which will be signed by Pub. Gov. Rick Snyder next week.

Up until last month, Snyder had proclaimed that right-to-work was not on his agenda.  But on Nov. 06, Michiganders rejected an amazingly thuggish attempt by Big Labor to pass an amendment to the state constitution prohibiting the legislature from ever passing right-to-work. 

When Snyder saw this not just fail but crash and burn 58 to 42 percent, he said carpe diem to his fellow Pubs in the state house & senate.  They struck so fast even the SEIU couldn’t get enough of their goons on the Lansing capitol steps in time. Synder issued this  public pronouncement yesterday morning, arguing for "Work Fairness & Equity" legislation.  Note the brilliant reframe of "worker freedom" —

Within hours yesterday, both senate and house had passed their bills.  Snyder pulled off a stunning coup.  Big Labor and the Dems are flat on their backsides wondering what truck just ran them over.  And here’s the kicker:  the legislation exempts police and firefighter unions.  Fiendishly clever.

So congrats big time to Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder – the HFR Hero of the Week.

The HFR Libtard of the Week Award also goes to a Michigander – in this case, Detroit City Councilwoman JoAnn Watson.  Since 75% of Detroit city voters opted for Zero on Nov. 06, she expects Zero to deliver the "bacon" the broke city deserves for supporting him.

Not only does she typify the beggar-moocher-parasite-entitlement mentality that is destroying and bankrupting our country, she doesn’t have the brains to understand that presidents don’t have any "bacon" (money stolen from taxpayers) to provide.  The only bacon he has to dispense is what the House decides to give him in an appropriation.

And since Detroit has voted for Dems to represent them for decades (like outright Communist John Conyers), the Republican House doesn’t owe – according to Ms. Watson’s reasoning – one single dime.

You’d think that most young people (under 30) are just as stupid as JoAnn Watson with a news story like this: Majority of Younger Voters Wants Bigger Government.  Note the nice touch of two white kids pictured as representative.  But they’re not.  It turns out, per the Pew Research study that’s the basis of the story, that white younger voters went clearly for Romney, 51-44!

Younger blacks, on the other hand, went for Zero 91-8, and Hispanics 74-23.  A more honest headline would be "Majority of Minority Younger Voters Wants Bigger Government."

As Ann Coulter explained this week (12/05), the story really should be entitled How Ted Kennedy Killed America.

"The youth vote is a snapshot of elections to come if nothing is done to reverse the deluge of unskilled immigrants pouring into the country as a result of Ted Kennedy’s 1965 immigration act. Eighty-five percent of legal immigrants since 1968 have come from the Third World. A majority of them are in need of government assistance… recent Hispanic immigrants — because of (Kennedy’s) phony "family reunification" rules — are the poorest of the world’s poor."

They are also the world’s dumbest, being at the bottom of Mexico’s barrel with no education whatever, illiterate, innumerate, and unskilled at anything productive.  "No amount of ‘reaching out’ to them," Ann concludes, "effective ‘messaging’ or Reagan’s ‘optimism’ is going to turn Mexico’s underclass into Republicans."

Exactly as the Chappaquiddick Killer intended.  Ted Kennedy never intended to murder Mary Jo Kopechne with malice aforethought.  He cowardly let her drown after his drunk accident, then lied about it.  He was guilty of manslaughter and perjury, but not First Degree Murder.  That, however, is what he guilty of for what he maliciously did to America.

OK – time for good news!

First up – every moonbat in the country, every Dem fascist on Capitol Hill is in agony and anguish this week over the defeat of the UN Disabilities Treaty on Tuesday (12/04).  The treaty backers even rolled in Bob Dole on a wheelchair right onto the floor of the Senate as the voting began.  38 Pub Senators had the guts to vote No, and it failed ratification.

Oh, the gnashing of leftie teeth, the rending of leftie hair out by the roots!  USA Today: Disabled Senate Rejects UN Rights Treaty. Kansas City Star:  An Irrational Vote. Shame! Outrage! Heartless! On and on come the unhinged condemnations.  This much rage reveals just how much the moonbats planned to use Disabilities Treaty to expand their fascist grip on us all.

We discussed the stakes here and "The Treaty Trap" in last week’s HFR 11/30/12.  You may want to bookmark that discussion, as Senate-ratified Treaties provide the federalies’ end-run around the Constitution – the 10^th Amendment in particular.  Any treaty can be used as the fascist camel’s nose inside the tent of liberty.  Treaties provide the implementing authority for a vast array of federalie agencies, including the FCC, the FDA, the DEA, and the Environmental Protection Agency.

This victory over using disabled children and 89 year-olds in wheelchairs to advance Dem fascism is only temporary.  The Dem fascisti never give up and will be back.  The homeschoolers provided the winning argument this time.  Next time (which John F’n Kerry promises there will be), Pub senators have to be armed with a clear understanding of the Treaty Trap.

Second good news item!  There are, believe it or not, Brits with cojones!  Who knew? 

A radical missionary organization of Jihadi Moslems, Tablighi Jamaat (Society for Spreading the Faith) has elaborate plans to build a gigantic mosque in London, four times the size of St. Paul’s cathedral capable of holding 10,000 praying Moslem men.  On Wednesday night (12/05), thousands of bearded Moslem supporters of the mosque gathered outside the council hall of the London borough of Newham, the mosque’s proposed site, to hear the council’s decision to build or reject.

The vote was unanimous.  All eight council members voted No. Congratulations to them.  Maybe, just barely maybe, there will always be an England after all.

Third good news item!  Despite President Putz’s every effort to damage Israeli security and get Vichy Europe to do the same, Bibi Netanyahu is standing firm in his government’s decision to build Israeli housing in a treeless uninhabited wasteland adjacent to Jerusalem.

I have to admit, if I were Jewish, I don’t know how I could tolerate the pathological pervasiveness of Anti-Semitism within the "international community."  The condemnation by the Pètainists of France is especially laughable. At least Bibi has instructed his ambassadors called on the carpet by Euroweenie foreign ministers to thank them for sharing.

Fourth good news item!  Egypt is proving there are Moslems willing to fight for freedom and against Islamic dictatorship.  Anti-Morsi protestors defied tanks and orders to disperse on Tahrir Square yesterday (12/06) – and then for good measure, burned down the Moslem Brotherhood’s headquarters in Cairo.  The protests continued today.

Morsi, however, has made a devil’s pact with the military, giving them almost total autonomy in exchange for backing his Islamist tyranny with their guns.  Will it not dawn on the generals that the devil always sells you out until there are nooses around their necks?

Meantime, let’s wish those gutsy folks on Tahrir Square bettawfeeq – best of luck.

All right, enough good news.  Here’s the bad moon rising.  I think Mark Levin’s right in claiming yesterday (12/06) Zero is going to lift the debt ceiling unilaterally and rule unconstitutionally.  Right on cue, hours after Levin said that on his radio show, Dem Sen. Dick "Turban" Durbin disclosed the mechanism:  a flimsy 14^th Amendment rationale.

Yet frankly, this is precisely what I’m hoping Zero will do.

I’m hoping he’ll lose his cool when the House Pubs refuse at first to raise the ceiling.  I’m hoping he’ll ignore his advisors who’ll be telling him to have more patience because the Pubs will cave in the end as they invariably do, no exceptions.  If he loses his patience and announces he is raising the debt ceiling or, even better, eliminating it, all by himself, before the House has a chance to cave – that would be the best Christmas present we could ask for.

For now the question would be – so, he raised the ceiling so he can continue to deficit spend… but with what money?  Raising the ceiling is only an authorization to deficit spend if and only if the money to do so is provided in a House appropriation bill that’s passed by the House, approved by the Senate, and signed by the President. 

No House appropriation, no money, debt ceiling or no.  Once Zero acts unilaterally on the ceiling, he’ll have to yell and scream and threaten the House Pubs to appropriate the money he wants – and there’s a pretty good chance he’ll have made them so mad they’ll tell him to go to hell.  They’ll almost have to.

Then what does Zero do?  He’ll take the next necessary leap into overt unconstitutionality and appropriate money himself.  There’s no legal mechanism to do this but he’ll do it anyway.  And now we have a real bona fide constitutional crisis which will require the House to Impeach Zero.

By the time the impeachment goes to trial in the Senate, the economy will not only have fallen off a cliff, it will have sailed off the edge of the world…

 
The 45 Senate Pubs will only need 6 Dems to convict.  The chaos of Zero-caused unconstitutional rule might persuade them to do so.

Zero is a Greek tragedy waiting to happen, possessed as he is by the fatal flaw of narcissistic hubris.  The sooner this tragedy reaches climax and is over, the better.  I hope Mark Levin is right.
