Weirdos.  That’s what I kept thinking watching SloJoe being such an obnoxious jerk on purpose in front of tens of millions of voters last night.

Why do Democrats so consistently have weirdos as their leaders?  Jimmy Carter, Ted Kennedy, Algore, Harry Reid, Pelosi Galore, Zero, SloJoe, and for all his disarming charm, Bill "Better put some ice on it" Clinton – all are obnoxiously, arrogantly, pretentiously, immorally weird.  Why can’t at least one of them be a normal human being?

How does a normal person, like Paul Ryan, handle someone who is trying as hard as he can to be as rude and weird as possible?  You could try this:

Which did no good whatever.  Politeness, staying calm, being restrained also did no good.  Dems think that being rude and obnoxious is a winning strategy.  The media will spin it that way.  Fred Barnes thinks it’s a loser, which is why he believes "Biden Bombed."  So does Peggy Noonan:  "Did Mr. Biden look good? No, he looked mean and second-rate. He meant to undercut Mr. Ryan, but he undercut himself. His grimaces and laughter were reminiscent of Al Gore’s sighs in 2000-theatrical, off-putting and in the end self-indicting."

While I think Ryan was too submissive, and wanted him to just tell SloJoe to "SHUT UP!!" – Biden interrupted Ryan 82 times –   the overwhelming impression most viewers and voters will be left with is that Joe Biden is a rectum.  Judge for yourself:

By contrast, Jack Kelly says you gotta see this Paul Ryan Is Hot! video:

Jack thinks that Ryan won the support of a lot of women last night, young and old — while Biden reminded many of them of their first husband.

This just in.  Biden was so weird last night that it’s being seriously asked if he was on coke.  The Sodahead website says it’s a valid question.  As one Tweeter commented, "Biden already got in a few good lines… in the bathroom just before the debate!"  It may be no joke.

The VP debate is, however, a Prelim.  The Main Event is next Tuesday, October 16 – which may turn out to be BOBHICA Day for Zero – Bend Over Barack, Here It Comes Again – with the 2nd Romney-Zero debate.

President Big Bird Brain will overcompensate for his disaster in Denver.  Such a disaster that hyper-lib comic Stephen Colbert noted, "It’s like Obama wasn’t even there – he hasn’t done this poorly since he debated Clint Eastwood."  Moonbat comic Bill Maher, who donated $1 million to his campaign, groused:  "I’m sorry, Obama sucked. He looked tired. He had trouble getting his answers out. It’s like he took my million and spent it all on weed."

As Chris Christie predicts, Zero will be "mean and angry" next Tuesday.  One problem will be that this 2nd debate, at Hofstra University in New York, is a "townhall" format with questions from an audience selected by Gallup – which is in the tank now for Zero since being extorted by Axelrod and Holder Justice.

That said, Zero would have to knockout Romney like Marciano’s of Jersey Joe Walcott (boxing’s most famous, in 1952) in order to change the campaign momentum.  Don’t bet on it.  Zero hits like a girl.

On Wednesday (10/10), the respected Suffolk University Political Research Center in Boston announced it was no longer polling in Florida, Virginia, and North Carolina as Romney was too far ahead to bother.  Yesterday (10/11), the Miami Herald announced that Romney has surged to a breakaway 7-point lead, 51%-44%. It’s the same in Virginia. And over in Ohio, Breitbart shows how Romney is ahead even in an amazingly Dem-skewed poll.

Both Jack Kelly and I continue to agree with Las Vegas oddsmaker Wayne Allen Root that Romney will win in a landslide, by 5-7% in the popular vote, and 100-120 electoral votes.  Actually, I think the electoral vote margin will be far higher than that.

It’s not just the polls – it’s the ridicule, the revulsion, the revelation of his character that’s focusing on Zero.  It’s not just one scandal, like Solyndra or Fast & Furious – it’s an accumulation of them that makes them harder for the Dem media to cover up.

The latest stunner is Benghazi-gate, where a US Ambassador was horribly murdered by Al Qaeda terrorists and Zero tried to blame it on some video that no one has seen rather than the Moslem murderers. It’s beyond revolting:

It’s compounded by Hillary’s flat-out lying about the clear refusal of her State Department to provide the security her ambassador was begging for. Notice how the PIAPS is hiding in some Georgetown basement bunker these days.  Her career as SecState is in ashes.  The last time she was seen in public was last week (10/03), giving an award to Christina Aguilera, whom Hillary clearly, ah, admires:

(You know the old joke:  How did Bill and Hillary first meet at Yale?  They were both dating the same girl.)

Then there is Donor-gate.  It’s blindingly obvious Zero is a crook illegally raising hundreds of foreign millions.  What’s astounding is how blatantly insouciant he is about it.  He got away with it in 2008 as the media protected him, and he’s sure they’ll do the same for him now.  Oh, how I’d like to see Romney throw this in his smug face next Tuesday.  We can always hope.

The most revelatory read of the week is on HillBuzz: Extreme Black Anger at Obama in Chicago.  This is truly a mind-blow. The author’s black friends tell him:

"(Obama) done did it.  He ruined it for us.  White people don’t feel guilty no more and won’t do stuff for us now that they used to do so fast you wouldn’t believe it.  All of it is gone.  They used it all up to elect him and to scream at anyone who said boo to him in the last four years.  White people got used to being called racist all the time and aren’t scared about it anymore.  I have no idea how I’m going to get funding for my programs now because I always counted on white people being too scared to say no to anything we needed at work.  This is a disaster for the black community."

See what I mean?  Read the whole thing.  Then keep going.  You won’t mind as what follows the article is a photo of a drop-dead gorgeous woman – who is as courageous as she is beautiful.  She’s black actress Stacey Dash, who spoke truth to power by tweeting, "Vote for Romney, the only choice for your future."

The amount of hate messages she received, many extraordinarily vile, was in the hundreds.  Interviewed by Piers Morgan on CNN, she never backed down, and explained why she supported Romney for president:  "I chose him not for the color of his skin but the content of his character."

Is there any doubt that Stacey Dash is the HFR Hero of the Week?

Speaking of courage… Last Sunday (10/07) was Pulpit Freedom Sunday.  Almost 1,500 pastors at church services all across the country deliberately broke the law against them backing political candidates from the pulpit, and directly challenged the IRS to take them to court.  Pastors vs. the Gestapo.  Let’s see… who should we root for?  Don’t bet on the IRS picking up the pastors’ gauntlet.

Then there’s Catholics Called to Witness.  Founded by Arianna and Manny Gonzalez, MD, in Pembroke, Florida, it has a video that you have to watch.  Called Test of Fire, it has gone viral and will influence countless Catholics to vote for freedom and not for Zero in November:

I’m more confident than ever now that America will pass the test of fire on November 6.  Which means there’s no better place for
TTPers to celebrate the saving of America than with each other at the Washington Rendezvous.  We’ll have some truly exciting speaker announcements next week, but in the meantime, Miko tells me that the Key Bridge Marriott room rate shoots up from $119 to over $300 after this Monday Oct. 15.

So – please call Miko ASAP (703-992-4529, [email protected]) so you don’t miss out.  November 9-11 – that’s the dawn of the Nobama Future.  I’m looking forward to celebrating it with you.
