SHARIA FOR REAL

Famboun, Cameroon.  This is a Ndiki Drum.  It is used by the Sultan of Bamoun to call his subjects to their end-of the-year Nguon festival over which he presides.  It can be heard for miles.

The carved wooden forearms and hands propped up at the drum’s end are not the drumsticks.  They are symbolic for what the real drumsticks used to be.  Until the British and French put an end to the custom in the 1920s, the Ndiki drumsticks were human arms, amputated at the elbow off captured slaves.  Four drummers were needed to properly pound the drum, each requiring two drumsticks: eight amputated human arms in total.

The Bamoun Sultanate was a Moslem Slave State.  It derived its power from enslaving neighboring peoples.  Amputating slaves’ arms for drumsticks was one of the many ways the Sultan broke their will to resist and keep them in bondage.  It was founded by this guy:

Nchare Yen in 1394, who raised a horde of sword-wielding Moslem nomads from the Sahara to wage Jihad upon black tribes as a rationale for creating his personal kingdom.  Intermarrying with tribal women, they became black themselves.  The area they came from, where Cameroon, Chad, and Nigeria come together, is today troubled by a fanatically fundamentalist group of Moslem terrorists called Boko Haram. Boko in the local Hausa language means anything Western, primarily education, while Haram in Arabic means forbidden or sinful.

It’s centered in the northeast Nigerian town of Maidiguri, and metastasizing from there.

Much of the truck traffic from northern Nigeria to N’Djamena, the capital of Chad, has been shut down.  Boko Haram teachings are spreading into Chad and northern Cameroon, with tentacles reaching all the way to Famboun – which is why the current Sultan, Mbombo Njoya, has begun to condemn any form of Western education as polluting the Islamic culture of the Bamoun people.

If only legendary CIA agents like Tony Poe and Dewey Clarridge were still running agency ops today.  They would instantly see the opportunity being handed to them.  The girlie-men bureaucrats who run Langley now would get the vapors if Tony or Dewey explained it to them.  But here goes.

The US military’s Africa Command is engaged in a program called The Trans-Sahara Counterterrorism Partnership (TSCTP), so we’re already operating in the region.  I had a beer a few days ago with some of these folks in the Kempinsky hotel bar in N’Djamena.  Assign Langley agents to TSCTP for cover, who then recruit and run a Boko Haram "breakaway" unit which claims it is the real  Boko Haram working for real Sharia.

The target of the Real Boko Haram would not be people, taking care that no one is killed or injured during its operations.  The target would be Western technology – specifically, electricity, mechanized transport, and modern communications.  None of these existed in Mohammed’s day, all are Western inventions, and are to be eliminated in a true Sharia society.

The first op would be to destroy the loudspeakers and electrical system of mosques.  Nothing could be more haram than to pollute a House of Allah with the boko of electricity.  Muezzins must climb to the top of the minarets and call believers to prayer in their own unaided voices as in Mohammed’s time, as it always was until the pollution of Islam by Western technology.

Next would be blowing up power stations.  And cell phone towers – Mohammed never had a cell phone, and neither must any true Moslem.  Then come gasoline and diesel fuel storage terminals, along with tanker trucks and their tires.  Mohammed never had a motorcycle, or any form of transport with a boko internal combustion engine.  Gasoline and diesel must be declared haram.

It wouldn’t take doing a lot of this before the hypocrisy and insanity of the actual Boko Haram terrorists became laughably obvious.  Subjected to humiliation and ridicule, they could strike back upon their fellow Moslems with increased fury, alienating them thereby, or they could swallow the bait and agree with Real Boko Haram.  It’s hard to say what would screw them more.

For Tony or Dewey, this would only be the pilot program.  After a few tweaks, a Real Sharia op could be rolled out anywhere Islamists are demanding Sharia law.  Local agents provocateurs would be employed to declare electricity – especially for mosques – haram, issue fatwas against imams who disagree, and if necessary, perform sabotage on mosque electrical systems.  The same for cell phones, engines, and Western tech in general.  All must be haram, forbidden and sinful, for true Moslems.

It would be interesting to see a Real Sharia op in Bamoun.. The Sultanate is where the ‘E’ in ‘Cameroon’ is on the map above, and is surrounded by Christian ethnic groups like the Bamenda and Bamileke.  The Bamoun are heartily disliked by their neighbors who were so brutally enslaved by them – and for siding with German colonialists when other tribes tried to break free.

The Portuguese explorer Fernando Po was the first European to reach the southwest coast of Africa in 1472.  Finding an enormous abundance of large shrimp in a river estuary, he named it Rio dos Camarões, the River of Prawns.  Four centuries later when Bismarck’s Germans decided to join the "Scramble for Africa" with the other European colonizing powers, primarily England and France, they laid claim in 1884 to the little-known region with the old Portuguese name on the maps, pronouncing it Kamerun.

They expanded their colony by making a deal with local chiefs called Fons and sultans like that of Bamoun: in return for German "protection" from other European imperialists – British to the west in Nigeria, the French to the east in French Equatorial Africa, a Fon or Sultan was free to practice the slave trade with Arab slavers.  The Sultan of Bamoun’s palace here in Famboun was built for him by the Germans in 1905.

(A son of the current Fon of Bafut, a large fondom in southwest Cameroon whose people are Christian today, explained to me how slavery was a "good business" with Moslem slavers who would march their captives all the way back to Arabia.)

Although animist fondoms engaged in the slave trade, for the sultanates, enslaving non-Moslems was their source of power.  When a number of tribes rebelled against German rule in the late 1800s, like the Bafut, the Bamoun refused to join and fought for the Germans instead.

It was only when Germany was stripped of all her colonies after World War I and Cameroon (as the Brits spelled it) came under British and French control, that slavery was stamped out.  Peoples who converted to Christianity accepted this.  Peoples who stayed Moslem were forced to, and resent it to this day.  A Real Sharia agenda would have to include advocating the enslavement of infidels as mandated by Allah in the Koran.

And of course, any advocacy of Sharia law, much less Real Sharia, would ban alcohol, including beer.  That’s the hardest sell of all.  If there is one thing in this world black Africans love (well, in addition to one other thing), it’s beer.

So, a return to slavery, no beer, no electricity or Western tech of any kind – that’s Sharia for Real.  It’s the best way to force Islamists into the consequences of their hypocrisy, to force normal Moslems to opt for modernity instead of the 7th Century, and to have non-Moslems look upon Sharia as an absurd joke.

Not, of course, just in Africa.  Sharia for Real is just what Europe needs.  Anti-Islamist patriot politicians like Geert Wilders in Holland, Marine Le Pen in France, Daniel Hannan in England could champion it, or ridicule it, whichever they thought most effective.  Most certainly, we need Sharia for Real in the US demanding that CAIR embrace Flat-Earther Islam.

Moslems must not be allowed to pretend they can live with one foot in the 21st Century with all its boko technological benefits, and pine to live in the "pure Islam" of the 7th Century with the other.  If they want to live in the Dark Ages, they should live in the dark.  If they want to live in the light, if they want to drive cars, have computers and cell phones, avail themselves of modern medicine, then spare us the Sharia hypocrisy.

Also, please spare us the claptrap about the Koran being the direct, pure and perfect Word of God.  A god who advocates and praises slavery is an imperfect, morally flawed god.  Or else, Mohammed was listening to Satan instead of Allah, who tricked him into thinking Allah was pro-slavery – just like the "Satanic Verses" of Sura 53:21-22.

The Skeleton In Islam’s Closet (February 2007) explains what the Koran’s Satanic Verses are, and how it is one of Islam’s great vulnerabilities.  There are many of them, and it is simply a tragedy that we don’t have a CIA capable of exploiting them, such as Sharia for Real.

The good news, however, at least here in Africa, is how vulnerable Islam is to Christianity.  In Cameroon, Islam is tired and old, while Christianity is vibrant and young.  I’ve seen this in other African countries, but it is so clearly obvious here.  Christianity is the religion of the future, while Islam is the religion of the past.

That’s the way it is now in Africa.  And we must make sure that’s the way it will always be in America.
