HALF-FULL REPORT 03/18/11

It’s great to be back in the HFR saddle again – yet I’m so grateful to Jack Kelly for doing such a marvelous job in my absence.  Thanks, Jack!

And we have an additional reason for gratitude to Mr. Kelly this week – for he was able to prevail upon his friend, LtCol. Ralph Peters, to fly all the way from Washington to speak to us at the Vegas Rendezvous!

You all know what a fantastic, pull-no-punches LtCol. Peters is as a writer.  Wait ‘tll you hear him in person explain the jeopardy our national security is in.  It will be memorable.

Also memorable – particularly for your pocketbook – will be famed  wealth preservation expert Hank Brock.  Hank conducts seminars all over the world costing thousands of dollars per person on how survive the coming Financial Armageddon we’re facing (see A Tsunami of Insanity this week). 

Rebel and I have gotten to know Hank as a friend, and are so appreciative of his graciousness in coming to speak to us.  There’s no one better to learn from regarding how to come out of this mess financially alive than him.

Is Hillary making her move, as the HFR has been predicting since December 2009?  Is it a coincidence that all of a sudden the pinkostream enemedia is chock full of stories targeting Zero’s ineptness, just as HRC announces she won’t serve in his putative second term?

Look at what happened this morning.  Before the UN Security Council vote yesterday to authorize a Libya no-fly zone (NFZ), Gaddafi is threatening to "shoot down European passenger planes" in response.  The instant, however, that NATO jets are on the way this morning, Gaddafi declares a cease-fire.

Who do you think will get the credit for this, along with Britain’s David Cameron?  Not Zero, bet on that.  Bet on enemedia encomiums for HRC, praising her to the moon for forcing Zero to show some spine.  And if Zero ends up caving, the condemnation will be deafening while HRC will be praised for trying her best.

Her run for the White House roses may have begun, folks.

That 12/09 HFR predicted the 2012 race would be HRC vs. Sarah Palin.  I’m as puzzled as Rush Limbaugh over the recent deluge of hate and snotty dismissal of Sarah recently by "conservative intellectuals."  It’s time we dismissed these testicular-atrophied ivory tower folks cowering in fear of a real woman.

Sarah Palin is as good as America gets.  She should be the most thrilling inspiration to any American.  She is totally self-made, she is the woman all self-proclaimed feminists describe as their ideal (yet whom they despise because she is real while they are not), she has responded to a non-stop deluge of smears and insults with moral nobility.  Aristotle would have looked upon her, as he would have with Ronald Reagan, as embodying kalon, moral beauty.

Don’t trust anybody who doesn’t admire Sarah Palin.  The Democrat enemedia and their "conservative intellectual" useful idiots are trying to destroy her because she terrifies them.  The ploy didn’t work with Ronald Reagan 30 years ago and it won’t work with her today.

She’s in New Delhi right now meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and, tomorrow night (3/19) keynoting a conference of Indian business leaders. Then she goes on to Jerusalem  to meet with Bibi Netanyahu next week.  She’s not doing this to tour the Western Wall or the Taj Mahal.  She’s doing this to run for President.

She’s running, folks.  And if Providence decides to bless America, she’ll win.

One reason she’ll win is that in 2012, Americans will want someone whom they can totally trust to stand up for America against the bullies of the world – and no one bullies Sarah Palin. 

She was the very first in the world to advocate a No-Fly Zone for Libya.  Three and a-half weeks ago (2/22), she said:

"Gaddafi is a brutal killer and Libya – not to mention the world – would be better off if he were out of power. Now is the time to speak out. Speak out for the long-suffering Libyan people. Speak out for the victims of Gaddafi’s terror.

"NATO and our allies should look at establishing a no-fly zone so Libyan air forces cannot continue slaughtering the Libyan people. We should not be afraid of freedom, especially when it comes to people suffering under a brutal enemy of America. Here’s to freedom from Gaddafi for the people of Libya."

Sarah knows how to stand up to bullies.  Zero hasn’t a clue.

Last week (3/10) Zero and Mrs. Zero held a White House conference on "school bullying."  If he had any intention to do anything but offer political theatre, he would now be praising a kid in Sydney, Australia who has become an international anti-bullying hero for taking care of a bully in an appropriate manner.

Casey Heynes is a big fat 16 year-old constantly being taunted for his weight and refusing to fight back when punched or pushed around.  His middle school, Dunheved Campus at Chifley College, has an Anti Bullying Policy, claiming that "We work hard to keep our school free from bullying and harassment." 

Yet the school refused to do anything about the gang led by a kid named Richard Gale that loved to pick on Casey.  On Monday (3/14) the gang decided to cell-phone video Richard punching and humiliating Casey, and the little punk threw one punch too many.  Casey snapped.

Lightning-fast, Casey picked the punk up, held him high in the air, and body-slammed into the concrete so hard he bounced.  The video has gone viral, with Casey gaining 20,000 adoring Facebook fans all over the world in 48 hours.

YouTube keeps taking the short video clip down and it keeps getting put back up.  Here’s one currently up.  If it’s down, just Google "Casey Heynes video" and up will come others.

Most schools’ "anti-bullying policy" here in the US and elsewhere consists of pathetic liberal pleading not to fight back, but to tattle-tale to a teacher who will do nothing.  I have two boys, and when they were in school, I taught them to completely ignore this pansy policy (and how to put their body weight into a punch). 

I told them both, "If a bully ever hits you, I want you to smash him in the mouth as hard as you possibly can.  I will be more than happy to explain to your principal that all human beings have an inalienable right to self-defense, and I will sue him in court if he punishes you for defending yourself."

Somehow, they were left alone – and the school left me alone.  My boys learned a lesson that Barry Soetoro never did.  Now all America is suffering for it.  The suffering will be over with President Palin.

There should be no doubt who wins the HFR Hero of the Week Award this week – the people of Japan.  Tens of thousands dead, hundreds of thousands homeless, freezing and hungry, their economy in ruins, the Japanese have borne this catastrophe with heroic dignity.  Our hearts go out to them with admiration and respect.

There are also two Honorable Hero Mentions.  The largest catering company in the world, feeding thousands of businesses worldwide is the French company Sodexo.  Its American subsidiary, Sodexo USA, has 98,000 thousand employees – 18,000 of whom are members of the SEIU labor union.

That means 80,000 are not unionized, and SEIU has used every thuggish trick in its criminal book to change this.  Yesterday (3/17), Sodexo USA said it wasn’t taking it anymore, and sued SEIU on federal racketeering charges. 

If any union thugs deserve to get kicked in the teeth, it’s those of SEIU.  Three cheers for Sodexo.

And three cheers for a politician named Carl Herslow in Skane, Sweden.  Fed up with the increasing Moslemification of Sweden by hordes of immigrants from Moslem countries sponging off the Swedish welfare state, Herslow produced a protest poster of Mohammed with his nine year-old little girl wife Aisha.  (Yes, Moslem holy tradition says he fell in love with his best friend’s six year-old daughter at age 50, married her and started having sex with her at age nine.)

To make sure people understood his point, he portrayed them both naked.

The Swedish government sued him for "agitation against an ethnic group," a jailable offense.  The jury deliberated for an hour, and found him not guilty.  On Wednesday (3/16) he walked away a free man.

"Islam is incompatible with democracy and equality," Herslow said.  "I’m gratified that we still have freedom of speech in Sweden."

You’ll note that the Swedish newspaper story linked above doesn’t show you Herslow’s poster.  But the HFR will.  It’s captioned, "He is 53 and she is 9 – is this the kind of wedding we want to see here?"

Herslow’s poster portrays a sickness deep inside traditional Islam.  Pederasty and pedophilia are one of the more revolting mental illnesses – and not only do Moslem accuse their founder of it, they revere him for it.

They also revere him for being a murderous, thieving bandit chieftain who conducted, according to tradition, conducted 37 razziyas or raids upon merchant caravans to steal, plunder, and kill anyone who resisted.

When a religion’s founder exhibits such moral depravity, its no surprise that his followers exhibit the same.  Last Friday (3/11), however, a number of them sunk to such a level of depravity that excludes them from the human race.

That evening, Palestinians calling themselves the Al Aqsa Brigade snuck inside the home of the Fogel family in the West Bank settlement of Itamar, and slaughtered the entire family of five – the father, the mother, two children aged 11 and 4, and a three-month old baby – in cold blood.

The monsters killed them by slitting their throats.  You have to grit your teeth for this – they just didn’t slit the throat of three-month old baby girl Hadas.  They cut her head off.

The next day (Saturday 3/12), Palestinians in Gaza, when they heard the news, celebrated by handing out candy in the streets.

The perpetrators and celebrants can no longer be considered human beings.  They are true monsters, perversions of nature.  The only remedy is to extinguish them.  Palestinian Authority leaders condemned the attack, so they should be tasked with extinguishing the monsters in their midst.

One faint silver lining:  any further criticism by Zero of Israel’s settlement policy will now be seen as his siding with the monsters.

OK, time for some good news.  How’s this for an uplifting headline?  Budget Stalemate Leaves Chaos at Many Agencies. 

Because scores of federal bureaucracies don’t know how much money Congress is going to give them (if any), they are "operating in chaos, confusion and uncertainty" — freezing hiring, canceling projects, delaying contracts, and are in general seriously screwed up.

This is totally cool – exactly what we want.  John Boehner and Paul Ryan would argue that this result is a very good reason to maintain their "salami strategy" of slicing off thin portions of the government a few billion at a time via the Continuing Resolutions – rather than forcing a government shutdown by demanding centi-billion dollar thick slices.

Not that Boehner and Ryan don’t want a shutdown – it’s the timing that matters for them.  It’s too early, the public isn’t ready for it.  The time to shut the government down is this October over the FY 2012 budget.  Jack Kelly tells me his first column next week will be about this.  I’m looking forward to it.

Meantime – three cheers for bureaucratic chaos!

Let’s close this week, so overflowing with horrific news, with additional good news:  The US is experiencing an oil and gas boom.

The technology of hydraulic fracturing that has revolutionized the gas industry is now being applied to the oil industry.  Enormous hitherto unexploitable reserves are now being brought online, right here in the US.

The evidence is becoming overwhelming:  North America (the US and Canada without considering Mexico due to terrorism and corruption) clearly has the capacity to be not just energy independent but an energy exporter (actually, Canada already is but mostly to the US).

That means we can be completely free of Saudi oil, of Libyan oil, of Hugo Chavez oil, of Nigerian oil, we’re free of all of them.  To do so, we need to be free of our own government and its lunatic anti-energy policy.  As Sarah says, "2012 can’t come soon enough."  It will come, and America will boom again.
