HALF-FULL REPORT 04/02/10

Today is Good Friday, when Christians commemorate the Passion and Crucifixion of Jesus.  It should be of solace to the millions doing so in America that there are so many millions more sharing this commemoration with them all over the world.

It should be of solace to them all that Christianity has more adherents and is more widespread across the planet than any other religion on earth today or in history.  33% of all people on earth say they are Christians.  Islam is a distant second, accounting for 21%.

Further, Christianity, in terms of absolute numbers, is the fastest growing religion in the world. 

The World Christian Database, which compiles the most respected research on world religions, reports that from 2000-2005, Christianity experienced an annual world-wide growth in adherents of 1.38%, while Islam had a growth rate of 1.84%.  At that rate of 0.46% more a year, it would take over 200 years for there to be as many Moslems as Christians.

However… the WCD reports that from 1970 to 1985, the Moslem growth rate was 2.74%, and from 1990-2000 it was 2.13%.  The Moslem growth rate over the past 25 years is falling, while the Christian rate is rising (up from 1.36% 1990-2000).

And there’s more.  The WCD doesn’t take into account the explosive growth of Christianity in China, because Chicom government statistics can’t be trusted.  According to independent researchers, there are some 50 million members of government-authorized "Patriotic Christian" churches in China – and up to 120 million who belong to underground "house churches."

This means that close to 15% of China’s gigantic population is Christian – and that this percentage is growing ever-larger.  Within a couple of decades (and under new generations of leaders who may well be Christians themselves), China will be 20-25% Christian.

In these days of America being governed by a president who is obviously not a Christian, of American Christians being under siege for loving their country and religion, it is important to know they are not alone.  Their allies are legion and everywhere on the globe.

It is also important to know this.  There was hardly a single voter in America who, on November 4^th, 2008, had not seen the video clip of or had not heard about Mr. Obama’s pastor of 20 years, Jeremiah Wright, praying that God should damn America – yet well over half of them voted anyway for a man who passionately wanted his pastor’s prayer to be answered.

Ask and ye shall receive.  The evidence accumulates by the day that God has agreed to damn America, as a majority of Americans asked for it.  But while God may have damned America – redemption from which may come this November 2^nd – it is abundantly clear He has not damned Christianity, for that is flourishing on a global scale not seen for 2000 years.

The triumph of Christianity over Islam has been portended in Africa by none other than Libya’s Daffy Khaddafi.

On March 17, the Libyan state news agency reported that Kaddafi gave a speech in Tripoli declaring that Nigeria should be broken apart into a Christian half and a Moslem half.  This should be done on humanitarian grounds to stop the fighting and killing between Christians and Moslems in Nigeria – like British India was split into India and Pakistan, which "saved millions of lives."

Note Khaddafi’s astounding historical ignorance – India’s Partition of 1947 caused over a million deaths.  More astounding is the admission implicit in his speech.  Khaddafi is a sponsor of Moslem terrorism, an Islamic fanatic who revels in the slaughter of Christian infidels. 

If he thought the Moslems were winning, he would never advocate splitting Nigeria in two.  It is only because he knows Christianity is expanding and Islam is retreating in Africa’s largest country (by population, now over 150 million) that he is advocating what amounts to a Moslem surrender.

Christian expansion at Moslem expense is taking place all over Black or "Sub-Saharan" Africa now (Arab or North Africa remains predominantly Moslem).  Black Africa has some 800 million, and half of them are Christian already.  The other half are mostly "animists" believing in their traditional tribal gods and spirits – and Christianity is rapidly making inroads among them.

Even in Euroweenie-land there is progress.  Belgium is banning the burqa.  (Would you believe there are 650,000 immigrant Moslems in tiny little Belgium?)  70% of folks in France now support a burqa ban, as do large majorities in Germany, Spain, Italy, and Britain.  There is hope that Europeans can evolve into vertebrates again.

Let’s hope more Americans can.  Since the passage of ObamaCare on March 21, Rasmussen’s daily polling shows President Zero gaining in popularity.

The immediate question is, can voters in Florida’s 19^th Congressional District become vertebrates on April 13?  The CD, in Boca Raton-Coral Springs-Pompano Beach, is one of those that are carefully computer-gerrymandered to be safe for a Democrat.  Vast numbers of white seniors live there who vote for whomever promises them the most government handouts.

Since 1997, it was represented by one of the biggest horse’s asses in Congress, Robert Wexler.  A local businessman, Ed Lynch, was able to prove that Wexler was not a legal resident of his district (Wexler lived in Maryland), got Bill O’Reilly to expose the evidence, which caused Wexler to resign from Congress last January.

Wexler got a political crony, Ted Deutch – an ultra-liberal, rabidly anti-Israel self-hating Jew like Wexler – to run in his place.  Opposing him in the special April 13 election is… Ed Lynch.

Lynch is a solid and intelligent Constitutional Conservative.  He wants ObamaCare defunded and repealed, all nine yards of it. Take a look at his website at electlynch.com.

The FL-19 election on April 13 is the first national referendum on ObamaCare.  The district is 50% D, 25% R, and 25% I (Independent).  Yet among Seniors and Indies, ObamaCare is hated by over 60% of each.  There are indications Indie voters are switching massively to Lynch, and mad-as-hell Seniors may be also.  Lynch reports his contributions have gone up 1,000% since ObamaCare’s passage.

This is doable.  I could not encourage you more to make what Lynch calls a Contribution to Restore America.  If you live anywhere near Southeast Florida, I could not encourage you more to volunteer for Ed Lynch. 

Early absentee voting begins Monday (4/05).  Do whatever you can to help.  Think of how much an Ed Lynch victory will help wipe those insufferable arrogant smiles off Pelosi and Zero’s smirking faces.

It would be great to have Ed Lynch joining real Republicans in Congress like Iowa’s Steve King – and standing up to RINOs like Tom Price (PA) who have begun to whimper they only want to repeal the most "egregious aspects" of ObamaCare.

No, King is proposing legislation for "100% Repeal."  As he says:

"Constitutional conservatives are emerging as the new majority makers and will not support a partial repeal. They stood in the streets, town halls and capitols of our states and nation to ‘Kill the bill.’

No one demonstrated to ‘kill the most egregious aspects’ or ‘preserve the least egregious aspects’ of Obamacare. This is an all or nothing fight from this point forward. Either we will be unified, energized and resolute for 100 percent repeal or we will be divided and deservedly conquered by Obama, Pelosi and Reid."

King concludes:  "This is a life or death struggle for the soul of America."  He’s right.

Life or death struggles can be depressing things.  Especially depressing when you think of the America that Zero intends to leave our children with.  It’s refreshing, then, to realize that young Americans in increasing numbers are not fooled by Zero’s smiley-face fascism.  Two of them are brothers Jonathan and David McWhite.

A few days ago they composed a parody of Kenny Rogers’ "You Picked A Fine Time to Leave Me, Lucille."  Sitting in their living room, Jonathan sang it and David played the guitar, they put it up on YouTube – and it’s already got over 400,000 views.

It’s going to get a lot more – this is going viral.  The line that seems to drive lefties apoplectic, for all the more serious digs, is "Well being President is so hard when you bowl like a retard…"  You’re really going to love this.  There’s hope for America with young guys like them.
