HALF-FULL REPORT 01/29/10

Amidst all the catcalls and raspberries directed at Zero’s SOTU speech this week – Fred Barnes called it the "least fresh" and most cliché-ridden such speech in over 30 years – I must admit I thought it was great.  Perfect, in fact.  We couldn’t have asked for anything better.

As Forrest Gump observed, "Stupid is as stupid does."  It doesn’t get much stupider than to ignore the First Rule of Holes – when you’re in a hole, stop digging – except to insist that the way to get out of the hole is to keep digging ever more feverishly, and to blame everyone but yourself for the hole you’re in.

The SOTU speech confirmed that we have a narcissistic fool for a president – all ego and no brains.   He is, with stupidly obdurate stubbornness, going to keep doing exactly what has caused his agenda to fail and his approval ratings to sink ever lower.

This almost guarantees that he will keep his party on the path to electoral disaster in November.  How could we ask for more?

Well, here’s how.  The Dems always eat their own, always turn on their losers – look, for example, at their vicious attacks on Martha Coakley after she lost to Scott Brown.  Dems need to be encouraged to start publicly blaming Zero for their woes.

Zero has already had a typically narcissistic reaction to his no longer being worshipped by an adoring public:  he is tired and bored.  If it’s not about him, it’s depressing and exhausting to be president.

Narcissists have by definition personalities that are very fragile.  Joel Wade doesn’t think he’ll disintegrate psychologically – at least not enough to invoke the 25^th Amendment.  He’ll retreat ever more deeply into denial, never taking responsibility, never admitting mistakes, always whining and blaming others – and his hatred for America will grow ever more for its people not recognizing his greatness.

Joel believes Zero is a fundamentally passive man who doesn’t have it in him to actively destroy America.  The danger, rather, is in what he won’t do, not what he will – that is, refuse to take action necessary to protect our country and thus leave it defenseless.

I think it is we who must not be passive – that we must actively target Zero’s vulnerabilities and make them worse.  Few things are more demoralizing for a narcissist than ridicule and contempt.  He already gets plenty of that from us.  We need to see that he gets it from Democrats, folks in his own party who won’t get re-elected unless they denounce him. 

Ultimately, we want Dems to start calling for him to resign.  Nixon never considered it until folks like Howard Baker in his own party demanded it.  We need Dem Howard Bakers.

Until we get them, let’s congratulate Senator John Kyl (R-AZ) for telling Zero to stop whining – "I don’t think that the American people want a whiner who says, woe is me."

Did the HFR call this or what? 

The headline in US News & World Report this week reads:  A Hillary Clinton Primary Challenge to Obama in 2012?  When she was absent from Zero’s SOTU, Drudge ran a huge headline in red:  What Is She Up To?

You know perfectly well what she’s up to, as it was explained in the HFR last month (12/18/09):

She has two goals:  either be on the Supreme Court or in the Oval Office.  She knows she has no chance for SCOTUS after 2010, Senate verification being impossible with a Dem minority or much-reduced majority.

She can’t wait for 2016 as she’ll be almost 70, and she can’t keep the public’s attention on her that long anyway.  Nope, folks, she’s going for 2012.  After the Dem disaster next November, she will fix all the blame for it on Zero, resign as Secretary of State, announce her candidacy, beat Zero in the primaries (if he doesn’t pull a LBJ and drop out), and be the Dem nominee.

So the next President of the United States will be a woman – because it will be Sarah Palin vs. Hillary Clinton in 2012.

The story in yesterday’s (1/28) London Daily Mail is dramatic:  That "Climategate" is far more than a scandal but an actual criminal conspiracy, the perpetrators of which should be prosecuted.  But they’ll get away with it, the story explains, via a legal loophole.

"Climategate" is primarily an English scandal/conspiracy at the University of East Anglia.  Now it’s being revealed that there is a U.S. Climategate which fingers NASA as its perpetrator.  But notice the story doesn’t name names.  Just who coordinated NASA’s conspiracy to distort the climate data so it would show global warming?

That would be the world’s most evil mad scientist – and Algore’s mentor – James Hansen, Director of NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies.

Hansen is such a fascist that he has publicly called for global warming "deniers" to be imprisoned for "high crimes against humanity and nature."

Yet it is Hansen himself who is the criminal that belongs in jail.  What he calls his "adjustments" of surface monitors recording temperatures throughout the US and the world are so blatantly fraudulent — no matter what the real data says, somehow after his "adjustments" are made, they always provide proof of glowarming – that scientists have a name for it:  "Hansenization" of data, as in "looks like the data has been Hansenized."

It’s a safe bet that one of the very first Senate hearings James Inhofe (R-OK) will convene once he’s chairman of the Environment Committee next January (replacing Hansen’s protector Barbara Boxer) will be to investigate the criminal activities of James Hansen.

I’m writing this in San Antonio, where the TTP Rendezvous begins shortly.  So I’ll leave you with the HFR Toast of the Week:  to the Federal Administrative Court of Switzerland (FACS), which ordered UBS this week (1/26) not turn over the identities of 4,450 US citizens who have anonymous Swiss bank accounts to the IRS.

This is fabulous news.  The financial and legal sovereignty of Switzerland has been preserved, and the IRS’ fishing expedition has gone bust.  It’s a major blow to Zero’s effort to demonize and destroy all of the world’s tax havens.  Liberals have a brain defect which renders them incapable of thinking how to create wealth.  All they can think of is how to confiscate it.

This week, thanks to a court in Bern, Switzerland, there is less wealth available for them to steal.
