Happy New Year!  Doesn’t it feel great to be rid of 2009?  To be rid of the entire furshlugginer decade of the Aughts?  And what is to be our battle cry as we enter 2010?

Fired up and ready to go!

The battle cry is ours now.  It no longer belongs to that failed schmuck who used it in the long past days of yesteryear to con his way into the White House.  Besides, his supporters are so dejected and demoralized that if he tried to fire them up he would be pushing on a string.

So – what can we expect to accomplish, what can we expect the world to accomplish, in 2010?

First, we can expect it to be chaotic – and the definition of a chaotic system is that small differences in the initial conditions result in really big differences in the outcomes, making the outcomes unpredictable at the start.  In other words, expect the out-of-the-blue unexpected.

Second, realize that America is not the center of the Universe.  Not any longer.  More and more countries will behave as if America and its president are irrelevant – like tiny Honduras not reinstating Zelaya or giant China snubbing Zero in Copenhagen.  Events in other countries will be more world-changing than events in America.

The best current example is Iran.  Without the slightest help from our pantywaist president, Iranians are on their way to overthrowing their Moslem Fascist government. This is the single most important development happening in the world today.  Getting rid of the world’s principal state sponsor of Islamic Terrorism, eliminating the threat of that terrorism going nuclear – you won’t get more of a game-changer than that.

While we are freaking out about Moose-limb crazies with bombs in their underwear (Kafka couldn’t make that up), the entire world-wide terrorist movement could disintegrate with regime change in Iran.

What would also disintegrate in its wake is the rule of Hugo Chavez.  Regime change in Iran will inspire and precipitate regime change in Venezuela.  Goodbye Ahmadinejad, goodbye Hugo.

Without money and support from the Tehran terror-masters, the Taliban would be severely damaged.  They wouldn’t disintegrate as they have the opium money and the ISI (Pakistan spy agency), but all of western Afghanistan would be shut off to them as it borders Iran.  Our soldiers would have a much easier war to fight.

There will still be Moslem crazies, there will still be Moslem thugs trying to sharia-ize the West, there will still be Moslem appeasers and apologists in the White House this year – nonetheless, regime change in Iran will be a shattering blow to the dark forces of Medieval Islam.

Another example:  natural gas and carbon credits.  2010 will be the Year of Natural Gas.  Which is why it will be the Year of the Death of Global Warming.  As with most everything, it’s always about the money.

As we learned in the last HFR, "carbon credits" is the greatest racket in world history raking in hundreds of billions of dollars a year now.  Much of it is a shakedown of European industry run on electricity from coal burning power plants.  It is easy to convert a power plant from coal to natural gas that produces 50% less CO2.

Europe has lots of sedimentary basins with coal-bed and shale gas up the kazoo.  With the new horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing technology making vast amounts of shale and coal-bed gas accessible in Europe, natural gas will soon replace coal for power generation and the whole carbon credit scheme will collapse.

With it will collapse interest in global warming – for the money that drives that interest won’t be there any more.  You can kiss the Democrats’ plot to get in on the carbon credits scam – the Waxman-Markey/Boxer-Kerry "Cap and Trade" bill – adios.

Which brings us back home in the USA – and that caveat about chaos above.  The odds grow by the day, yes, that the Dems will be thrown out on their fascist derrieres in November.  But with their massive resources, the OPM (Obama Propaganda Media) willing to perpetrate any lie and hide any truth on their behalf, and their Marxist morals (the end justifies the means resulting in their being totally and viciously amoral), the Dems will do anything to retain power.

So this is no given.  The next 10 months are going to be brutal.  It could be Democrat Fascism’s last stand – but only if millions of conservatives and Teapartyers focus and target their energy, instead of frivolously dissipating their anger.  The key to this will be Sarah Palin.

The TeaParty movement is amorphous, leaderless, and will thus be sorely tempted to fritter away its energy on political wild goose chases.  Only Sarah Palin has the capacity to provide the disciplined direction and leadership the TeaParty Movement requires.

She will follow the "Nixon Template" as explained shortly after her resignation as Alaska’s governor last July in The Palin Potential.  She will campaign tirelessly for Pub House and Senate candidates this year, never divulging her plans for 2012.  Plus, she will attempt to corral the Teapartyers so their energy is not wasted.

It’s a huge task and the OPM will demonize her more than ever – if that’s possible.  If the fascists can get her to falter, the odds of their winning, of their completing their task of destroying freedom in America, increase.  So pray for Sarah.

This year, 2010, is going to be a mess.  We need to quickly learn how to take advantage of it.  2010 will be a Year of Stagflation, high inflation plus high unemployment, Jimmy Carter’s Misery Index redux and on steroids.  Just remember while you’re living in the mess:

The worse things are, the better they are.

The deeper and more widespread public anger and frustration, the easier it can be directed at those who hold the reins of power:  the Fascist Democrats.  The easier it becomes to implement the Double-D of Defund and Disobey.

It didn’t take long for TTPers to get word of the Double-D to Rush Limbaugh – who now has this advice prominently displayed on his home page:

"Everyone is asking, ‘What can I do?’ Refuse to obey."

Thanks, TTPers!  Because of you, millions who listen to Rush are getting the message:  Refuse to obey unconstitutional and immoral laws.  Once again, however, a caveat of caution.

The meme of "refuse to obey" can quickly unravel into sheer lawlessness.  We need to pick a small handful of fascist laws to disobey.  Rush is suggesting filing for umpteen exemptions on one’s W2.  That could get dicey.  Skye’s suggestion of the Cash Option is more risk-free, as it gives the recipient of one’s cash the choice of whether to pay taxes on it.

This is why there is going to be a discussion on ideas for the Double-D at the Remember the Alamo Rendezvous in San Antonio January 29-31.

TTPers Jim Snape and Mitch Rapp are getting things going with a "defundanddisobey" website that will be up shortly.

If you Google "defund and disobey" you will now (01/01) get 12,000 hits.  It’s just starting to go viral.

So – should I tell you about the Third D?

The Second D is about individual action – what Americans can individually do as acts of civil disobedience that disempowers Leviathan.

The First D is about persuading and supporting political candidates who will pledge to, if elected, vote to defund Fascist Democrat programs.  The Third D is like this, only more radical.  The Third D is:

Default.

As in, the US government should default on its debt.  The 12+ trillion dollar federal debt is unsustainable as it is, and the Zerocrats are adding trillions more.  It will bankrupt us, our children, and our grandchildren to try and pay it back.  So we should walk.

What the US could do is a selective default that would pay off small bondholders – anyone who holds, say $10 million or less in treasuries.   Everyone else – the Goldmans and giant banks playing the ripoff game of borrowing fed funds at almost zero interest and buying treasuries paying 3% while refusing to loan money commercially, the sovereign bondholders, most especially the Chicoms – they get squat.

Even the whisper of this will give apoplexy to guys running the big financial institutions:  "No one will loan the US any money!  It will be catastrophic!"

But that’s what we want.  The goal of Default is to make the US government incapable of borrowing money for a decade or two, forcing it to live within its means.  Default is really the only way to radically prune the federal bramble bush back to a constitutional level.

Even the steady insistent mention of US default advocated by Republican politicians could drive China and others into a panic and a frantic sell-off of Treasuries.  2009 is already "the worst year since 1978" for the sale of US securities, according to Bloomberg.  2010 could be far worse.  We should work to make it so.

If we work smart with untiring perseverance, we can slog through the mud of 2010 to reach a triumphal summit.  There will be many bright spots along the way, especially as Zero’s anti-American incompetence disgusts more and more Americans and he continues to plummet in the polls.

Getting to next November will seem like it is taking forever – but we will get there.  The future that we find there is up to us.  Fired up and ready to go for 2010!
