HALF-FULL REPORT 11/13/09

Roatan, Honduras.  It’s far easier to get from the US to here than from Tikal, Guatemala.  It took me an entire day.  You can fly from Houston (Continental) or Atlanta (Delta) nonstop in less than three hours.

Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands off the Honduran Caribbean coast, 37 miles long and five miles at its widest, home to 30,000, some 3,000 of whom are expats from the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.

Increasing numbers of Americans are figuring out that this is the tropical paradise they’ve been looking for as a safety escape while Hurricane Obama passes by.  I’ll have lots more to say about it in my report on Honduras next week.

I just learned from TTPer Paul Rosenberg, developer of Cryptohippie, that I am a character in a libertarian video game called 2011: Obama’s Coup Fails.  It posits that after the Dems suffer devastating losses in the 2010 elections, Zero suspends Congress and rules by executive decree.  An armed rebellion breaks out.

The player (you) joins the leaders of the rebellion, known as The Founders, in combat against the crumbling Marxist forces of Obama’s loyalist Black Tigers, the Islamic fundamentalist Nation of Malsi, and The Cong – a group of de-elected Democrats.

Evidently, I am one of The Founders.  In the Breaking News section of the game, a news bulletin entitled "Hillary Clinton Finally Captured," dated March 15, 2011, begins:

"Upon receiving an anonymous tip, the forces of Jack Wheeler, Ollie North, and the CIA were able to track down and capture former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton."

I don’t know the game designers, and just found out about this from Paul.  But it’s cool, don’t you think?

That’s the fun news.  Now for the ominous news.  An officer in the Marines has informed me that the Department of Defense has blocked access to To The Point from DoD computers.  The officer is a TTP member and access to TTP is blocked from the computer at his base.  I’d appreciate it if any TTPers in the military or who have kids in the military could confirm or disconfirm this.

Now for news that is both good and ominous.  The NY-23 race is not over.  A "recanvassing" of the votes has reduced the Dem’s lead to 3,000 with 10,000 absentee ballots to count – many of which are from the military.  Thus the race remains uncertified by the state Board of Elections.

That means it was illegal for Pelosi Galore to have Bill Owens sworn in on Nov. 6^th so he could vote for her health fascism bill the next day.  She did it anyway and the Pussy Pubs didn’t even meow in protest.  Doug Owens may still win.  But what the Dems did to thwart it should be yet more proof that the Democrats are anti-democracy.

There’s no doubt that this is good news, wonderful news.  On Tuesday November 10^th at the grimly inspired time of exactly 9:11pm at the Greenwood Correctional Center near Richmond, Virginia, Moslem terrorist sniper John Allen Mohammed was executed by lethal injection. 

One of the most important functions of legal justice is to rid society of human garbage.  Justice was done and the garbage taken out last Tuesday night.

Speaking of human garbage, there couldn’t be a greater example of it than Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the man who planned and executed the Atrocity of 9/11 upon America.  As a war criminal, he should be executed by a military firing squad at Guantanamo.

Instead, our America-despising Moslem president has decided, in what Congressman Peter King (R-NY) calls "the worst decision by a US president in history," to put him on trial in a civilian court in New York City – making it once again a bulls eye for Moslem terrorists.

Personally, I think it’s a great decision – because it will help to further cement, coming on the heels of his pathetic response to the Moslem terrorist massacre at Fort Hood, in voters’ minds just how terrifying pro-Moslem and anti-America is the man they elected a year ago. And how bumblingly incompetent.  It won’t be long before they agree en masse with Congressman King – except they’ll delete from his words "decision by a."

Here’s what Sarah Palin has to say about Zero’s "atrocious decision."  Incidentally, she will be visiting Fort Hood on her book tour, which begins next week.  It will be the most publicized, and successful, book tour in publishing history.

We close this HFR, however, in praise of a Moslem country.  It is Oman.  Bordering Wahhabi Saudi Arabia and terrorist-producing Yemen, it is anti-Wahhabi, anti-terrorist, and pro-West/pro-America.  This is thanks to its leader Sultan Qaboos.

Have you noticed lately that it’s been months since Somali Moslem pirates were making all the headlines?  They are still there, and their piracy still occurs, but it’s much reduced.  One reason is this story.

The pirates have a network of spies throughout the entire area who report to them via satellite phone the identity, sailing routes, and even shipping manifests of ships bound their way.

There is a port city in southern Oman near the Yemen border called Salalah.  The Omanis are pouring development money into it as a free trade zone.  As a counter to the pirates, Qaboos offered Salalah as a staging area where ships could congregate, then sail together through the pirate seas as a convoy protected by warships of the US, British, or Omani navies.

This began last July, and shortly afterward, a group of a few dozen Somalis set up an encampment on the Yemen-Oman border where they could technically claim they were in Yemen.  After watching them carefully for a while, Omani intel determined they were engaged in spying upon the convoy activities in Salalah.

A detachment of Omani Special Forces soon arrived at the encampment and at rifle-point loaded the Somalis onto trucks, drove them to Salalah, and put them aboard an Omani naval vessel which promptly sailed off into the Arabian Sea.

The next morning, the Omani navy ship arrived back in Salalah – with no Somalis.  Not a word was said or reported.  Not a single journalist to date has learned of it.  But it’s been four months now so I can tell you.  The Omanis sailed 50 miles out to sea, and in the middle of the night, threw the Somalis overboard to drown – every last one. 

The last one was the guy with the satellite phone.  The Omanis had him call him up his bosses so the Somali pirate leaders could listen to the pleas as fellow Moslems for the Omanis not to kill them, then the screams of terror as into the black ocean they went.

Then, when the screams had ended, an Omani voice came on the phone to say, "All your colleagues are dead.  This will be your fate if you ever dare to enter Oman again."  Click.

That’s the way to deal with pirates.  That’s justice taking out the garbage.  And it’s also a reminder that there are good and courageous Moslems in the world, willing to see that justice is done against evil, even when that evil is perpetrated by fellow Moslems.  It is a tragedy, however, that there are not more of them, and that the President of the United States is not among them.
