HALF-FULL REPORT 04/18/08

The HFR can stand only so much good news.  How can it report on things half-full when the glass is overflowing?  So this week we'll have to use one of those huge beer steins from which Bavarians imbibe at the Munich Hofbraühaus:

We begin, of course with Obama The Infantilizomaniac. 

It's hard to say what was more fun to watch, Shrillary kicking Snobama's butt in their Philly debate Wednesday night (4/16), or the deluge of outrage by Snobama's moonbat devotees directed at the debate's moderators for daring to ask critical questions of their demi-god.

As the slow-motion train wreck of Obambi's candidacy continues down the track towards the collapsed bridge of Election Day and it plunges with the Democrat Party aboard into an abyss of doom, it's time to focus on how he is the perfect expression of the liberal neurosis of infantilizomania.

Back in September of 2005, we discussed the liberal neurosis of Infantilizomania.  It is the obsessive compulsion of liberals to treat adults as children.  The liberal term for this compulsion is "compassion."

That such compassion is a political con-game, that liberal compassion is a form of contempt, couldn't have been made more crystal clear with Obambi's contemptuous dismissal of the most deeply-held values of bedrock Americans such as their religious faith – to which they stupidly and ignorantly "cling" to out of bitterness towards a government that won't sufficiently take care of them like children.

For this, Obambi has justly earned the sobriquet "Snobama."  He'll never be able to shake it.  As Jack Kelly says, the Obama Rocket has flamed out. 

And if you need any further confirmation, watch this YouTube video of him explaining his defense policy.  The man has the willful intention of destroying America's national security.  Close to a million and half views are already registered for it, which is aptly entitled In 52 Seconds Why Barack Obama Cannot Win A General Election.

No wonder the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas has endorsed Obambi.

As the Shrillary-Snobama mud fight continues, many Democrats are realizing that neither one of these disgusting people can win in November.  With Algore's one issue of warm-mongering becoming more unhinged (see below), he is no longer a viable third option.  The HFR is happy to come to the Democrats' rescue and suggest the obvious choice, a man who embodies the very essence of today's Democrat Party.

He's seasoned, he's experienced, he's even won the Nobel Peace Prize like Algore.  Who better to solve the Democrats' dilemma than Jimmy Carter?

The most attractive reason for nominating him is that it would enable Democrats to shed their pretense of being pro-American.  Pretenses like this are so stressful.  What a relief it would be for them to have a standard-bearer who proudly embraces America's enemies, kisses Hamas terrorists, puts flowers on Arafat's grave, whose gargantuan incompetence embarrasses America as much as Democrats are embarrassed to be Americans?

It's a match made in Democrat heaven.  Jimmy's antics with the Palestinians this week should make it obvious to even the dimmest Dem.  The only drawback is that, at 83, he's over a decade older than John McCain, depriving Dems of their main argument against their Republican opponent, demagoguing his age.

The HFR hoists a Hofbraühaus stein to a great European this week, Brigitte Bardot.

The French actress was the ultimate "sex kitten" in the 1950s and 60s, and every college guy's fantasy.  She certainly was mine and it's easy to see why:

She's in her mid-seventies now, but she's still got a lot of moxie if not her youth.  An ardent opponent of cruelty to animals, she dared to denounce the Moslem festival of Eid which includes ritual slaughtering of sheep.  In a letter to French President Sarkozy, she warned of the "Islamization of France" and declared:  "I am fed up with being under the thumb of this population which is destroying us, destroying our country and imposing its acts."

French Moslems sued her for "inciting racial hatred."  French prosecutors argued in court this week that she should be imprisoned and fined thousands of euros.  Bardot didn't bother to show up for her trial, declaring it to be a "fascist farce."  Her lawyers said she was too "unwell" to appear.  The former sex kitten has become a hero of Western Civilization.

The HFR stein is raised to an even greater European, our favorite Italian, Silvio Berlusconi.  The richest man in Italy worth $12 billion, he was again elected Prime Minister this week.  He's pro-capitalist, pro-American, and most importantly, has no fear of the Left nor of Moslems.

He has publicly declared that "Western Civilization is superior to Islamic culture," and refused to apologize amidst the torrent of demands he do so.  He has even greater contempt for the Left.

Berlusconi's election portends, in fact, a shift to the Right throughout Western Europe.  Its three biggest guns, France, Germany, and Italy, now have conservative, pro-American leaders.  The Tories in England are poised to win the next election, while Labor's Gordon Brown is here in DC being very nice.  There's a growing hope for Europe.

Which is why the HFR stein is raised highest to the greatest European of all right now, a stein appropriately full of Bavarian beer for he is Bavarian himself, Pope Benedict XIV (see Miracle Max in Europe).

His historic visit to Washington this week, culminating in a Mass for tens of thousands at the Nationals stadium, was profoundly moving not just to Washingtonians but millions of all Christian faiths across America.

In grim contrast to the spiritual seriousness of his visit was the ghastly hypocrisy of liberals denouncing the Catholic Church's "sex-abuse scandal," and smearing Benedict with it. 

It's hypocrisy because liberals are all in favor of sex abuse if it involves homosexual pederasty.  They're the ones trying to destroy the Boy Scouts because it won't allow homosexual Scoutmasters preying on pubescent boys.  Yet they are happy to condemn pederasty (as long as it's called de-gendered "sex-abuse") as a way to condemn a Christian religion.

No doubt, priest-altar boy pederasty is child molestation, a disgusting violation of human morality.  It has been going on for centuries.  A "homosexual mafia" was entrenched in the Vatican when Benedict assumed the papacy in April of 2005.  Homosexual writers such as Andrew Sullivan promptly condemned the new pontiff for being anti-pederasty, or as they put it, being against "modernity" and "individual freedom."

So I predicted in April 2005 that Benedict would throw the homosexual mafia out of the Vatican and get rid of, in his words, "the filth there is in the Church," a campaign of the new pontiff's I called The De-Homosexualization of the Catholic Church.

This prediction soon began to be realized, as discussed in Benedict to the Rescue.

What liberals hate so much about Benedict is that his campaign is becoming successful.  They hate him for stopping pederasty in the church and not promoting it, so naturally they take out their spite by accusing him of what he is preventing.

It's so much fun to see their dark desires thwarted and their dark souls eaten away by impotent spite.

The HFR saves the best for last.  That's United Nations experts condemning biofuel like ethanol as a "crime against humanity," blaming the world-wide food price riots we're seeing now squarely in the shoulders of warm-mongers.

Pressure Grows on EU to Ditch Biofuels reads a headline in Germany's Der Speigel magazine.  Global warming rage lets global hunger grow reads one from the London Telegraph.  The food riots in countries all over the planet are evidence, the story states, that "the mass diversion of the North American grain harvest into ethanol plants for fuel is reaching its political and moral limits."

When faced with the exposure of their beliefs as fraudulent, of their gods having feet of clay, the reaction of religious fanatics is to become more fanatical and hysterical than ever.

So it is we see now.  The warm-mongering fanatics in Congress and greenie moonbats in Europe bitterly condemned President Bush's speech on "climate change" (4/16) because Bush  refused to castrate the American economy and uttered such enviro-heresies as "The Clean Air Act was never meant to regulate global climate."

The speech was all Bush could do to hold off the rabid fanatics.  The focus now must be on driving some sense into McCain's thick skull.  Not an easy task.  But the food riots are mounting, the biofuel villain has been identified, the fraud of glowarming is more exposed by the day now.  We can polish off our stein of Bavarian lager in gratitude for that.
