THE BRECK BOY IS CLEARED FROM THE PRESIDENTIAL FIELD

What is happening to Dem presidential aspirant John Edwards – the Breck Boy – is too awesomely delicious not to quickly brief you on.

The National Enquirer is now running a story about Edwards cheating on his wife.  The Enquirer doesn't reveal her name or anything about her identity. 

Evidently she is Lisa Druck, the former girlfriend of novelist Jay McInerney who described her as "jaded, cocaine-addled, (and) sexually voracious."

Ms. Druck has since changed her name to Rielle Hunter.  Check out this 10-month old Newsweek story (December 2006) about her, that says she "met Edwards at a New York bar" (as per the Enquirer story). 

Described as a "filmmaker" although there's no evidence she ever was, she was hired by Edwards to make a series of video shorts for his campaign called "Webisodes."  In each video, Newsweek says, "the camera lingers over the former senator's behind as he tucks a starched white shirt into his pants."  The Edwards campaign paid her $114,000 to make these videos – and never used them.

In an interview of her, Ms. Druck claims she stopped using drugs when she went to see "a healer who did a clearing on my energy field."  Looks like this New Age bimbo sure has done a clearing on the Breck Boy's presidential field.

This is the kiss of death for Edwards, because the contrast of him paying a hundred grand for an adulterous fling with a floozy while he is using his wife's struggle with cancer to gain him sympathy votes is truly repulsive.  Say goodnight, Johnny.  Time to go back to being a trial lawyer chasing ambulances.
