FRUITCAKE FASCISTS

The decision by San Francisco Superior Court Judge Richard Kramer this week that withholding marriage licenses from homosexuals is somehow unconstitutional is the latest example of America’s retreat from democracy. The type of government America is moving towards is a krytocracy.

Remember the word. A democracy is a government of the people (the demos in Greek), or their freely-elected representatives, a government of elected legislatures and laws passed by them. This has been superceded, replaced, by a krytocracy – a government of judges. Unelected judges.

America’s Constitution and the laws passed by Congress under its authority no longer have any meaning. The Constitution’s only – only – meaning is what judges say it has. We live in an era of krytocratic tyranny: rule by the arbitrary feelings and whims of judges.

But it’s worse than that. The Kramer decision is yet another example of the seizure, the wholesale theft, of American culture by a tiny fraction of Americans. Less than 2% of Americans are homosexual, engaging in practices the vast majority of Americans find abnormal and perverse if not morally repugnant – yet are willing to tolerate and ignore.

Yet being tolerated and left alone is not good enough. Despite the fact that no culture in human history has ever looked upon homosexuality as psychologically normal and made no legal, moral, or cultural distinction between its activities and those of normal folks, homosexuals are waging a war upon America to force her to do so. That’s why they have become Fruitcake Fascists.

This war is being waged most loudly and publicly upon cultural institutions such as marriage. But it is being waged most subversively and lethally upon our children.

you will get a list of all the high schools in California that have a chapter of the “Gay-Straight Alliance,” the purpose of which is to propagandize teen-age high school students on the legitimacy of “LGBT issues.” LGBT stands for Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-Transgender.” The length of this list is simply astounding. There are hundreds of high schools listed – and this is just in California alone.

I was born and raised in California, and one school on the list that caught my attention was the prestigious Cate School in Santa Barbara. It turns out that not only does Cate have a “GSA” chapter on their campus, but is busy organizing meetings of the “GSA Consortium,” whereby GSA members from all over central California meet on the Cate campus. It’s described in Cate’s newsletter to parents .

It is unfathomable how parents could possibly send their young teen-age children to a boarding school that actively advocates homosexuality – and pay $32,000 a year to do so! Note that in Cate’s brochures and promotional material, there is not a hint of this. Most parents, I suspect, send their kids there oblivious of the school’s covert pro-homosexual agenda.

The bright spot in this war is the linguistic backfire. Some time ago, homosexuals hijacked a synonym for happy and carefree. “Gay” used to be a perfectly normal word. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, for example, made a movie entitled “The Gay Divorcee.” This word was stolen in an effort to pretend and con everyone into believing that homosexuals were so, so happy. Yet among kids today, kids in grade school, middle school, and high school, “gay” does not mean homosexual. It means uncool, unhip, as in: “That movie was so gay,” or “What she did to him was so gay.” For kids now, to call someone gay is to call him or her a loser.

This is all over the country. And what are the Fruitcake Fascists doing about it? Threatening to put kids in jail if they don’t use the word “gay” to their liking. A recent editorial in the San Jose, California Mercury News began:

Anyone who has spent time with middle schoolers knows that “gay” has become their synonym for “loser.” So schools committed to fostering tolerance cannot exclude sexual orientation from their lessons on prejudice…. State law includes sexual orientation in prohibitions against harassment on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, religion or disability. Schools should not only be enforcing the law but explaining why it exists.

This is fascism, clear, pure, and simple. And revealingly, the editorial shows the way to combat it. It makes the curious statement: “Those who find homosexuality offensive will always prefer silence.” So – no more silence. Those who find it offensive need to say so. That’s what it takes. Any form of fascism is offensive, fruitcake or otherwise. Fostering “tolerance” for fascism is oxymoronic. If we stand up for our kids, this war can be won.
