A LETTER FROM FALLUJAH

Dear Dr. Wheeler,

I am an active duty Colonel in the United States Army, and have just returned from Fallujah, where the fight has been hot. I am also a brand new subscriber to To The Point!

I have studied many conservative movements, publications and writers over the last 40 years. No other writer or conservative I have read has expressed as nearly as you have my own sentiments and my own view of the world. Reading your articles is like finding a mirror to my own soul!

Thank you for saying what is in the hearts of our military on the ground in Iraq. The left-wing press is not telling the truth about Iraq. It is for internet giants like you, Joseph Farah of WorldNet Daily, and others to get the true story out.

PLEASE keep telling it, shouting it from the rooftops! There is NO “insurgency” in Iraq, just a bunch of hold-over punks and thugs from the previous (what was his name?) regime, trying to hold on to power. Your readers need to know that SECDEF Rumsfeld is held in very high regard by the troops. Our Marines have high morale and all of them have personal body armor, contrary to liberal media lies and distortions.

Please continue to spread the truth. Only light can dispel the darkness of liberal lies.

The primary reason America has not suffered another 9/11 or a series of them is soldiers such as yourself having the courage to take the fight to the enemy thousands of miles away. It is thanks to this courage that Islamofascism will be defeated. It is not just America that will owe you a debt of enormous gratitude, but the entire world.
